Hi! Thanks so much for considering me to look after your pet while you're away. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up in an animal-mad family - my mum owns a grooming salon, so I’ve been around dogs of all breeds and temperaments from a young age. We also showed dogs when I was younger, which gave me a strong understanding of handling, behaviour and the importance of calm, respectful care. Alongside dogs, I’ve had all kinds of pets throughout my life and am very comfortable adapting to different personalities and needs. I currently have two cats of my own - Biff & Kip - who I’ve raised since kittens and who now enjoy a very relaxed life of eating, sleeping and being thoroughly spoiled. I also foster guide dog puppies which is very rewarding! I’m experienced with: • Specialised feeding routines • Grooming • Administering medication • Understanding nervous or shy animals • Respecting each pet’s individual boundaries I’m calm, patient and always let animals come to me in their own time, which means they tend to trust me quickly. Whether your pet is playful, anxious, independent or cuddly, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for while you’re away.

I prioritise calm, safe and consistent care, always sticking closely to your pet’s usual routine so they feel secure while you’re away. Thanks to my lifelong experience with animals, I’m very comfortable reading and responding to their body language. I let pets set the pace, which helps build trust quickly, especially with those who are shy or nervous. In your home, I respect both your space and your pet’s boundaries, ensuring feeding, exercise, play and rest happen just as they’re used to. My aim is to make your time away as stress-free as possible, for both you and your pet.

First time we have left Alfie with a cat sitter at home. Phillipa was brilliant. Daily updates with pictures. He is usually so shy with people he doesn't know but soon came around to having fuss from Phillipa. Would highly recommend her services.
Philippa is great. Was a little worried deciding if to leave them or put them in cattery but this was the best decision for my free rangers 🐈⬛🐈⬛ they love Philippa. Both cats are quite shy but they've taken to her 🥰🥰 so nice to know i can pop away now and not rely on neighbours Thank you so much Philippa 🥰

Thank you Philippa. First time I have left my 2 fur boys without anyone at the house. They are too free range to put in cattery. Liquorice enjoyed her drop ins and so did Clint. A huge relief and peace of mind with someone so trust worthy. Loved the updates on the app. Thank you again
Phillipa has been fantastic with our old chap. We received pictures of him every day so all the feels for her. We felt confident that he was in safe hands. This was a great relief to us as and we would highly recommend her as a friend to look after your family pets. Phillipa made sure he had his meds and special diet and dealt with everything we needed for him. I was very confident as soon as she met our cat as it was obvious they were going to get on. A big thank you from us all.

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule - I'm a self-employed gardener and I also coordinate weddings at a country house in Mid-Wales, though this is only every other weekend in the spring and summertime. This means I'm master of my own schedule and can make it fit around pet care very easily!
