About: I have adopted 8 elderly dogs since 2012 and have loved every second of making sure they have lived their final days in comfort and with love. I currently work remotely from home so very easy to have dogs here with me - it's a very calm, safe and dog friendly environment. I have a secure back yard that the dogs can play or snooze in - very secure. A lunchtime walk at the nearby park is essential. Plenty of space to explore in the house. No furniture is off-limit!

About: Having had dogs in my own home since the age of 7 I feel more than qualified to keep yours happy. From teaching my ‘untrainable’ lurcher agility to pottering around with my elderly vizsla I’ve done it all. I have dog sat for various homes since I was 15 which inspired me to do my zoology degree and later to begin this degree in veterinary medicine. I have just completed a six month placement working as a wildlife care assistant where I not only learned valuable first aid skills but also invaluable experience in animal welfare and handling. My degree is 9-5 on Weekdays with Wednesdays and weekends off- I have plenty around this to help enrich your let! This is also only in term time so I am available for longer stays during the holidays My garden is completely fenced off with no exits (trust me if there were my dog would’ve found them!). The most important thing in my book of pet sitting is company and that means regular checks and playtime making sure everybody is safe at all times.

Im currently working in IT full time, however I can work from home 3 days a week which could be useful for home sitting, I currently work 9-5 and can work around these hours Communication with the owner is key! Taking care of the pets needs as I would do for my own pet, ensuring they have everything they need to be happy and comfortable. communicate with the owner to find out what their individual needs are and adapting to each pet. for example my own dog I made sure was always walked twice each dad, fed three times a dad, Had plenty of enrichment in their lives aswell as checkups with our vet. it goes without saying I love animals more then people

“Jen took care of our dog, Max, for a week at our home while we were on holiday, and all I can say is that Jen is brilliant! From the initial booking right through to the end of our stay, communication was fantastic. She looked after Max amazingly, and he clearly had a wonderful time with her. She stuck to his normal routine and spent lots of quality time with him, which gave us great peace of mind. Jen also took great care of our home. She was incredibly clean and tidy and left the house in a lovely condition for our return, even hoovering, washing, watering plants and taking bins out. She kept us updated every day while we were away, which was especially reassuring as we were anxious about leaving Max for the first time. We would 100% recommend Jen to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their pet and home. We will definitely be booking her again in the future. I’m currently working part-time with a varying rota so there’s plenty of time for me to look after your pets and provide them with lots of love and care. I am insured for dog walking and pet sitting and also DBS checked. I can provide your dog with a leisurely walk or a fun active walk, depending on what they require. In terms of pet sitting, I can provide them with their food and let them out for toilet breaks, as well as play with them and make sure they’re doing okay overall.
