“I recently entrusted my dog to Leigh’s care for two nights, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment I dropped him off, it was clear that Leigh genuinely cared about his well-being. Leigh went above and beyond to help him settle in, ensuring he felt comfortable and safe in his temporary home. Leigh’s communication was exceptional; he kept me updated with frequent pictures and messages, which instantly put my mind at ease. Knowing that my dog was in such capable and caring hands allowed me to relax and enjoy my time away. I highly recommend Leigh’s services to any pet owner seeking peace of mind while they're away.”

“Emma is more than a 5 star sitter. During George and Peppas stay we get loads of updates and photos and they even got a day trip out to the quarry!! They have come home tired and happy and we are so appreciative - knowing George and Peppa were safe and happy meant we were able to enjoy our wedding day without worries. Thank you Emma!”

“Ben is absolutely amazing with Kaiser. Understands his needs and gives him a loving and fun place whilst he stays with them. This was his first boarding experience after already having a doggy day care and he was excellent. Kaiser settled really well and loves seeing them. Ben kept me updated with pictures and how kaiser was getting on. Brilliant sitter, highly recommend and we will be using in the future for all stays/ day care days.”

“Our small dog Tahni, a white Cavachon, had a wonderful stay. Kass gave us reassuring updates and some lovely photos of her out and about. “Dusty, our Weimaraner, had an amazing staycation with Lyndsey - she was so well cared for, taken on lots of lovely long walks and treated as a member of the family. About: Hi, I’m Kim. I’m a reliable, calm and caring person with a genuine love for animals, and I’ve had cats for most of my life. I grew up with them and currently have two of my own, so I’m very comfortable understanding their needs, routines and personalities. I understand how important it is for cat owners to feel confident that their pets are safe, settled and well cared for, especially as cats can be sensitive to changes in their environment. I take a calm and patient approach to make sure they feel comfortable and secure. I’m very organised and dependable, with many years of experience in customer-focused roles where trust and responsibility were essential. I bring that same level of care and attention when looking after pets, making sure their routines are followed and they feel relaxed in their own home. Whether it’s feeding, companionship or keeping their routine consistent, I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own

“Ruta was a lovely house guest, she looked after Hutch so well and sent us lots of updates and photo's. Hutch seemed very happy and contented with Ruta, she is such a natural around animals. We are also very grateful for how well she kept our home and left it immaculately clean, we would be very happy to leave Hutch with Ruta again xx”

About: I’ve looked after cats for friends and neighbours over the years, from playful kittens to older cats who enjoy a quiet cuddle. I always take time to make sure they feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I’m happy to help with feeding, litter cleaning, playtime, and giving lots of attention — always following each cat’s routine to keep things calm and familiar. Whether they love play or prefer peaceful company, I adjust to their personality and make sure they feel cared for. 🐾

“Fantastic service, thank you Alisha! Alisha is lovely and really made the effort with my cat. She kept me updated each day with pictures, which was really nice 😊 Thank you very much and will definitely use again x”

“Katie is fantastic she went above and beyond to make sure my Mowgli was looked after, I did not need to worry about a single thing! And my cat has made a friend for life. Katie was trustworthy, amazing communication, and incredibly flexible to accommodate my short notice needs. See you soon :)”

“Leanna and Lauren did an amazing job of looking after my 2 cats. They took the time to get to know the cats and their personalities and fussed & played with them as well as feeding them and administering medication (tablets and eye ointment) to one of the cats. They sent detailed updates and lovely photos. Unfortunately one of my cats became ill and they quickly identified the problem and let me know straight away. Using a cat sitter when my cat was unwell and needing medication was difficult but Leanna and Lauren showed a lot of care and compassion and were very reassuring. I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again.”

About: Hello and welcome to my profile. I have a DBS check and a long track record of immaculately caring for homes and animals. When dogs stay for boarding or daycare, I provide a loving home away from home so they can feel relaxed, comfortable and happy. Similarly, with housesitting I provide the stability of a loving and happy home in familiar surroundings. This provides total peace of mind so you can enjoy your time away, knowing I'm caring for your beloved furry family member as if they were my own. I have over 10 years of experience on various pet sitting platforms and regularly receive repeat bookings. I work from home and have flexible hours, which means that your dog(s) will have constant company, care and attention the entire time. I live near the Shropshire Way and Wenlock Edge, which provide wonderful opportunities for off-lead adventures. Your dog(s) will receive at least one long walk a day for 30 mins to an hour (depending on their size, health and usual walking habits), plus 2-3 shorter walks to check out all the smells and goings on in the area while enjoying a comfort break. If you have a high-energy dog that needs two long walks a day (e.g. 2 x one hour) I can provide this for a small added fee. I've had many wonderful experiences while pet sitting, including caring for dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, ponies, alpacas, chickens, ducks, sheep, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, fish, turtles, and even the odd snake. I especially enjoy building long-term relationships where I'm able to develop a strong bond with the animals, so dogs feel instantly relaxed in my presence and their owners can feel totally relaxed too. If you require housesitting and have a large number of animals please message me for a quote, as I can offer a capped rate based on their daily requirements rather than charging per pet. For example, I recently completed a 2 week sit with 2 dogs, 2 cats, 3 horses, 2 guinea pigs, 1 snake, 3 alpacas and a flock of sheep. I will always follow your established routine to give your pets familiarity and comfort. I can care for your pets in the comfort of their own surroundings or provide them with a loving home away from home. I only care for up to two dogs at a time for boarding or daycare, which means I can give them my full attention at all times. I also avoid mixing dogs from different households unless they have already been introduced and I know they get on well together. I'd be happy to organise a complimentary Meet & Greet before the first stay so we can all get to know each other. I often house and pet sit with my 10-year-old son, with the full approval of the owners of course. He has been accustomed to pet and house sitting from a young age and adores animals as much as I do. He tends to bond with them instantly and never tires of throwing balls and showering them with affection. If my son is with me, rest assured that he and your pets will be fully supervised by me (as your sitter) at all times. This ensures your animals receive the utmost care and attention, in full compliance with the Rover Guarantee.

About: My wife and I have been dog sitting for over 5 years. This started for family and friends and grew through word of mouth. We have owned dogs for 14 years as a couple. We are looking to pet sit more often. We both work from home so there is always someone here to look after your pooch. We are a fit and healthy couple who do not smoke. We are very active and can walk your four legged friend once or twice a day for 45 mins - 1hour. (Some weekends we like to hike and your companion will be able to join us if they like walking long distances. If your dog is not up for a long walk we would adjust our schedule to suit). We live in a small cul-de-sac in Bridgnorth, at the end of our road is a coppice woodland that was rewilded in the 1960's this is an ideal area for us to walk your dog. If you would like a meet and greet then we'll be happy to go on a quick walk to show you the local area. Dogs we look after do need to be comfortable with sleeping downstairs or our little pup would get jealous! I am able to fit our doggy walks in and around work due to being able to work from home. We are able to make sure that toilet breaks can be had when needed and that we can fit in an 1hr walk at lunch time. We often walk our own dog at lunch and straight after work so can walk your pooch twice a day if needed. We are both DBS checked due to our careers. We have a fully fenced garden. We are experienced in administering medicine, having looked after a family members dog who required palliative care. We would take details of your vet and make sure your dog was looked after well incase of an emergency.

“Cannot thank Ben and Rebecca enough for their fantastic care of Walter! They have been absolutely amazing and we will be using them frequently. We really can’t thank you enough. Walter had an amazing time and the best thing is he’s now worn out and ready for bed!!!!”

“Our little dog seems to have endless energy. Vasiliki was so kind and patient. We couldn’t have asked for more. Milo had so much fun he sat by the front door when he did get home crying to leave again 🤷🏻♀️”

“Kerry and her family have always treated Hadley as their own dog, he clearly loves both them and their lovely dogs Georgia and Lily. We are so very fortunate to have Kerry in our lives not only does she provide amazing care for Hadley but she clearly cares for me too. Thank you so very much for everything you do for both of us.. 💕💖”

“Pippa is amazing. Was so welcoming and flexible. Has a lovely home and a big secure garden. I met her in advance so that my dog was familiar and she was instantly cuddling him. She has a beautiful and playful cockapoo who is great company for any four legged friend. I couldn’t recommend Pippa more. My dog had a great time and was so well looked after.”

About: I have adopted 8 elderly dogs since 2012 and have loved every second of making sure they have lived their final days in comfort and with love. I currently work remotely from home so very easy to have dogs here with me - it's a very calm, safe and dog friendly environment. I have a secure back yard that the dogs can play or snooze in - very secure. A lunchtime walk at the nearby park is essential. Plenty of space to explore in the house. No furniture is off-limit!

About: I have been surrounded by dogs , cats and other pets all my life. For nearly 30 years I have owned retired greyhounds and whippets as well as cats and chickens. As well as my own pets I have also boarded dogs for friends and family. I have experience of both puppies and elderly pets requiring extra care or medication to be administered. I am also no stranger to sharing the bed with a furry four footed companion! Having recently lost my own elderly whippet I can offer a pet free house ideal for pets who may need somewhere a little quieter or are not used to living with other animals. I can also provide boarding for multiple pets from the same household. I am a full time for caregiver for my disabled husband so I am at home all day. No animals would be left unattended for more than 30mins. I have a secure fenced garden and can offer long country walks or simply a comfy spot in front of the fire. Your pet would be the only boarder at the time meaning that I can can accommodate their needs and stick to there usual routines as much as possible.
“I've just picked River up from Day Care with Kass and it's clear to see that she's had a great time! Kass updated us with messages and pictures of River letting us know that she had settled well 🐾”

“We are so pleased that we found Kevin. He has been a godsend! Kevin has a lovely home and garden which is very secure for roaming dogs. We always have a friendly welcome from Kevin and our puppy jumps out of our arms to greet him. Kevin is very professional but also down to earth and friendly and takes care of our puppy just as we’d like. He is very flexible and nothing is too much trouble and he obviously knows his stuff about dogs! A real gem to have found and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!”

“Harper was incredibly caring with Brownie 🥹🥰 I could see how much fun he had, and for the first time, as soon as we got home, he went straight to bed 😂. I’m truly grateful for Harper's love and attention towards him. She shared photos and updates throughout their time together, and seeing them enjoy each other and Brownie settle in peacefully gave me a deep sense of comfort and confidence that he was in good hands 🫶🏾”

“Andrew was very quick to respond to our last minute request and very accommodating around our requirements for timings . Our two dogs were well looked after and came away happy . Would definitely recommend”

“Mona took to Lauren and Helen straight away, they are so loving and caring towards her. They have looked after Mona a few times now and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They have kept me updated, been super responsive to messages and given her extra walks and attention, as well as accommodating my needs in the hot weather They both sit Mona in my home and leave the place spotless. Trustworthy and lovely people- can’t ask for much more!”

“Kelly is kind and sensitive not just to the dog she is walking but also to the owner. Bonnie likes to take her time to get to know know people, and Kelly is building trust, taking the time Bonnie needs, and giving her the stimulation she craves on her walks. We're happy that Kelly has agreed to weekly walks. She's enabled us to relax knowing Bonnie is in really good hands. Thank you Kelly.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve been lucky enough to care for all sorts of pets over the years—dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, and even reptiles. So I know just how much love (and energy!) our pets bring to our lives. I completely understand how nerve-wracking it can feel leaving your pets with someone new. Please know that I’ll treat them as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. Every pet is different, and whether yours is full of beans, prefers a gentle stroll, or just likes their own space, I’ll always adapt to what makes them most comfortable. Alongside pet care, I also have a real passion for dog training. I love helping dogs learn, build confidence, and thrive through positive experiences. I’m confident with dogs of all ages and sizes—from bouncy puppies who need guidance, to older pups who like to take things at their own pace. I currently offer the following services: - Dog walks and drop-in visits in your home. I’m also more than happy to help care for other small pets too—just let me know when you get in touch. - Doggy Daycare and Boarding in my own home (typically available Friday - Sunday). About: Having grown up with dogs including West Highland Terriers, Jack Russells, Labradors, Beagles, and Welsh Sheepdogs, caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I fostered dogs and cats while living in Egypt, spent 10 months living in Amigos de los Animales dog shelter in Loiza, Puerto Rico helping to re-socialise dogs following Hurricane Maria, and later lived in and worked as Volunteer Manager for Colitas con Canas, the only dog shelter in Peru's Sacred Valley, caring for elderly and disabled dogs, including rehabilitating a very special dog called 'Olly' who came to us after having both of his back legs crushed as a young puppy. With my care and attention, he recovered from his injuries and could be re-homed by his forever family in France. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of nervous, rescue, senior, and special-needs dogs, as well as the patience and confidence to help them feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I work as a natural health therapist, out of treatment clinics in Shrewsbury, Much Wenlock and home visits. However, as I am recovering myself from a health crisis last year, I only see one client per day for a maximum of 2 hours (not including travel time). This gives me lots of time and flexibility to suit your schedule and dogs' needs. I love spending time outdoors and enjoy taking dogs on enriching walks while exploring local woodland areas. Whether your dog enjoys an energetic adventure, a relaxed stroll, or simply companionship and gentle care, I tailor my approach to their individual personality and needs. Your pet will be treated with the same kindness, attention, and respect that I would give my own. I work as a holistic therapist. This gives me freedom and flexibility in my schedule to suit your dog’s needs. I only see one or two clients per day for two hour treatment sessions with plenty of time in between for walks, cuddles and bathroom breaks. I live in an annex flat on my mother’s 3-acre small holding. I don’t have my own garden but our property borders woodland areas with accessible walks to the River Severn. The apartment is a studio with its own bathroom and small balcony area, with plenty of light and fresh air.

I’m currently volunteering part time but happy to adjust, depending on timings and owners’ preferences for their dogs. Ensuring dogs are happy and healthy! 1. I will ensure the environment is safe and secure on arrival and departure. 2. Making sure the dog(s) are okay and not stressed.
About: From a very young age, I have grown up with dogs. They have always been in my life and I would not have it any other way, so when I left my family home, of course I had to get my own fur baby! I raised him from a puppy into the wonderful (but cheeky) dog he is today. I have had plenty of experience with several breeds of dogs, from Yorkshire Terriers to Golden Retrievers, and let me tell you, they have all had completely different personalities! I have my own insurance as well as a DBS check so there’s no need to worry if your pet is in good hands, because they are! Pets are family and deserve to be treated as such. Are my pets spoiled? Maybe! But I always give them the best love and care and nothing less. I’m currently working part-time with a varying rota so there’s plenty of time for me to look after your pets and provide them with lots of love and care. I am insured for dog walking and pet sitting and also DBS checked. I can provide your dog with a leisurely walk or a fun active walk, depending on what they require. In terms of pet sitting, I can provide them with their food and let them out for toilet breaks, as well as play with them and make sure they’re doing okay overall.
About: I’ve always loved animals and have shared my home with several for most of my life, including cats, dogs and horses. I’ve spent several years teaching riding and also worked in the Safari Park for a while, looking after many different types of animals. I've always owned large dogs but have also cared for many other breeds over the last few years, mostly in their own homes, and have loved every experience. I’m currently taking some time out to do a PhD remotely and have complete flexibility to fit around your animals’ needs and routines. I am currently taking some time out to do a PhD remotely which gives me complete flexibility to fit around your pets’ needs and routines. I will fit into the routine your pets are used to, to ensure that they are cared for in the best possible way. At mine, I have a fully fenced garden and easy access to a number of lovely dog walks.
About: I have owned 2 dogs within my adult life, both from puppies. This means I have experience looking after puppies, training them and sticking to a routine. I have always been bought up around dogs, and my family has dogs too which I look after. I have a massive love for all dogs, regardless of their size and breed. Unfortunately my 2 dogs have passed away, leaving a massive hole in my heart and currently I am not in the position to have another… leading me to Rover to give me the opportunity to be around dogs still. I am currently working from home, so I have a lot of time to give your dog. I am available different times, for either drop in, walks, boarding or over night stays within your home. Within my house we have a big garden and lots of fields nearby, meaning I will be able to exercise your dog however works best for them. I do not have a fenced garden, but can put your dog on a long line should this be required. Otherwise I will always be present when they are outside going to the toilet.
About: I am a licensed security dog handler and also own 4 large breed dogs myself which I have trained to a high standard. Owning working dogs too, I am very capable of handling all breeds of dogs. I am happy to accept dogs with behavioural issues, lack of manners, lead pulling or reactivity. These are all things I have experienced and overcame with some of my own dogs and foster dogs in the past. I own a Belgian Malinois who is my working security dog, so I also understand that high drive dogs may not be fulfilled with just a walk around the block. I can offer enrichment and fulfilment sessions to suit the individual dog. I am fully insured, DBS checked and first aid trained. My insurance is also inclusive of banned breeds, I specifically chose this due to me having 2 XL Bullys myself so you have peace of mind that I’m fully aware of the exemption rules and these will be followed at all times. Please be aware any exempt dogs will need to be a 1:1 ratio dog to handler at all times. I offer both group walks and solo walks, adventure days, house sitting, pop ins and overnight stays. I currently only work part time and I am self employed so I’m able to change my work schedule to fit around the dogs in my care. I have a house with a large secure garden, situated in a very small village in the countryside. I am able to keep my own dogs completely separate from any other dogs.

“Jade and Chris recently looked after my 5 month old puppy Jasper. It was the first time leaving him overnight so we were a little nervous but they were very reassuring. I loved the photo updates and he seemed very settled in their home. Thank you both!”

Kass’s own little dog could not have been more accommodating to help her to fit in to somewhere new and different. Kass’s relaxed and considered approach gave us a lot of confidence.”

“Dusty, our Weimaraner, had an amazing staycation with Lyndsey - she was so well cared for, taken on lots of lovely long walks and treated as a member of the family. Lyndsey took the time to get to know Dusty at the meet and greet, and we even went on a short walk together. It was lovely to receive regular updates and photos during the stay, and Dusty was relaxed and well-adjusted when it was time to come home. I feel very lucky to have found Lyndsey - would highly recommend and will ask to book again.”

“Natasha was brilliant with looking after Rocco. She gave regular updates and pictures. Rocco had a wonderful time and was well taken care of. Would highly recommend. Thank you again for taking such good care of our furbaby!”

“Rachael treated Mollie our little Shih Tzu with the same level of affection and care as she treated her own dog- what more could I ask for! She was very helpful at all points of contact and I felt very much at ease knowing she was caring for Mollie, Many thanks Rachael.”

“We needed last minute care for our Lurcher Lenny and Alasdair and family were great. We had a relaxed meet and greet and our dog was more than happy to return to the house for drop off. The house and garden are really spacious and we had regular updates from Alasdair. They asked all the important questions about Lenny’s care and they are clearly knowledgable about dogs. It sounds like Lenny really enjoyed spending time with their two huskies. Thank you!”
“Sophie and Ollie looked after Bella in their lovely home for 3 days/2 nights. We had an initial meet and greet where Bella had a nice play in the garden and Sophie gave plenty of reassurance that she would be looked after well. I dropped Bella off and she instantly had a lovely walk around the fields. I was given regular updates and pictures of how happy Bella was there. We will definitely be using Sophie and Ollie again in the future.”

“Cant thank Madelene and her family enough for taking care of Poppy, especially at such short notice. We were send pictures and videos every day and Poppy was so well taken care of with multiple walks a day and all the love we would give her at home ❤️”

“Our 4 year old Border Collie Merlin stayed with Emily and her husband Ty for 3 nights. From the initial meet/greet we felt reassured from the offset that Merlin would be well looked after! Emily and Ty were very friendly and made us feel at ease. Communication was prompt and easy. During the booking we were very happy with the regular updates, photos and frequent walks during his stay. We couldn’t have wished for better for our dog Merlin, he came back a very happy and settled boy. Thank you so much! We would definitely rebook again :)”

“Percy had a great time staying with Tahra. I was sent regular updates and could see he was being extremely well looked after. I would definitely recommend! Thanks Tahra :)”

“Emily was brilliant and looked after Milo so well. She's warm and loving - exactly what I want for Milo when he's not with me. She sent me plenty of videos and pictures too! Will definitely be booking Milo in with her whenever I need a sitter!”

“Well what can I say about Frazer - an absolute superstar!! He is the first dog sitter I have used and he will be my go to from now on. The guy is amazing. He learnt all of my dogs habits and routines beforehand and gave them the absolute best time while we were away. Regular photos and videos were sent daily which also put our mind at rest while we were so far away. We have only had Daisy for three months and were a little worried about how she would cope without us but she and Frankie had the best time. I would recommend Frazer without a seconds hesitation - he is the best. Do not look elsewhere, trust Frazer with your loved ones, I promise he will love them as much as you do.”

“Dominika was fantastic with my dog! it was clear my dog was very happy and well cared for the entire time. i really appreciated the photos and videos sent daily which gave me a peace of mind while i was on holiday. Communication was easy and reliable, Dominique clearly has love for dogs. i would definitely recommend her to anyone locking for a trustworthy dogs sitter. i would never leave my dog at the kennels again”

I understand each animal is different, so I'll take the time to understand what you are comfortable with and your individual pets needs.
