Before caring for a pet, it is important for me to understand their usual routine, personality and individual needs. I like to know about their feeding schedule, exercise requirements, likes and dislikes, temperament, any fears or anxieties, and how they normally behave at home. It is also helpful to know about any health considerations, allergies, sensitivities, house rules and anything that helps them feel comfortable and settled while their owners are away. A meet-and-greet is a great opportunity to discuss all of this, get to know the pet and make sure I can provide the best possible care tailored to them.
A typical day
A typical day will be tailored to each pet’s individual routine, personality and needs. I will make sure pets feel comfortable and settled in their own environment, while keeping to their usual feeding, exercise and daily routines. Activities may include walks, playtime, enrichment activities, plenty of attention and companionship, as well as allowing time for rest and relaxation. I enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they receive the care, reassurance and affection they are used to. I will provide regular updates and photos to owners so they can feel confident that their pet is happy, safe and well cared for while they are away.

Kim is a lovely lady who is a good communicator and looked after our boy Blue very well. We received photo updates which was reassuring to see Blue looking happy and comfortable with Blue. The house was left clean and tidy and we were able to contact Kim whenever we needed. Blue was happy with Kim and was very settled in your care. It has been a very hot week in the UK and our dog Mitchell does not do well in the heat. However: KIM CAME PRIOR TO OUR HOLIDAY TO INTRODUCE HERSELF AND LOOKED AFTER OUR MOAN OLD BOY IN EVERY WAY. KIM EVEN BROUGHT A FAN OF HER OWN IN AN EFFORT TO KEEP HIM COOL. HE WAS NOT STRESSED OR UPS3T WITH US AND I AM VERY GRATEFUL FOR THE EFFORT KIM HAS GIVEN IN LOOKING AFTER OUR DOG. I CANNOT RECOMMEND MORE HIGHLY THIS PERSON TO LOOK AFTER YOUR PET. THANK YOUU KIM.
