I’ve always loved spending time with animals and have cared for cats and dogs for family and friends over the years. More recently, I’ve been house sitting and realised how much I enjoy looking after pets and keeping them happy while their owners are away. I’m a patient and caring sitter who takes the time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine. I’ll always make sure everything is clear by asking questions, and I love sending daily updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. Whether it’s house sitting, walks or drop-in visits, I’ll treat your pets with the same love and attention I’d want for my own.

When caring for pets in a pet owner’s home, I treat their space and routines with the utmost respect. I follow any instructions carefully, making sure pets are fed, walked, and given plenty of attention and playtime according to their usual schedule. I’m patient and observant, so I notice any changes in behaviour or needs, and I make sure to communicate with owners through daily updates and photos. My goal is to keep pets happy, safe, and comfortable while their owners are away. My partner, Harry, joins me during house sits, we're more than happy to do a video call or meet up before hand so you can feel safe and comfortable with us both!

Matilda looked after my cat Treacle for a long weekend. She was fantastic, Treacle was well cared for and got the fuss and company he loves. Matilda communicated well with me and was the most excellent house guest. I would highly recommend her.
Matilda looked after our Rottweiler for three weeks about a month ago. She was brilliant. She listened to everything we said so Dolly had a great time off the lead. We arrived back to a lovely tidy house and one very happy dog. She communicated well throughout our time away and I would have her back anytime. Totally recommend.
Matilda is a very bright and conscientious young woman who loves animals and is very good at looking after them. She has stayed in our house and looked after our three dogs (Cavachon, Cavalier, and a Boxer) and our cat while we went on holiday for three weeks. I came home to very happy animals and an immaculate house. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Schedule
Pet care fits smoothly into my daily routine. I set aside dedicated time for walks, play, feeding and attention, so I can give pets consistent care and companionship. During house sitting or drop-in visits, I make sure to follow each pet’s routine closely and can easily adjust to special needs or schedules. I also make it a habit to send updates and photos to owners daily, keeping them connected while they’re away.
