“A big thank you to Thomas for staying overnight at our house to look after our big fluffy American Akita. He kindly came over a few days beforehand to meet Meka, which really helped her feel comfortable around him. It was clear from the start that Thomas is very knowledgeable about all breeds of dogs and confident in handling larger, stronger dogs like ours. He even took Meka out for a walk no small task, as she can be quite reactive to other dogs and everything went smoothly. I highly recommend Thomas and will definitely be booking him again in the future!”

“We just had Annie and Ben stay at ours and care for our Husky. They are a trustworthy team! Easy to communicate with and kept us updated with pictures. We would absolutely use their services again.”

“Niamh was brilliant with our puppy, he's had a great couple of days with her looking after him. She was on time both days (early actually) and was in contact with us during the house sit. Thanks so much for your help!”

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. I have cared for a range of breeds, including Maltipoos, Springer Spaniels, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and Labradors, so I’m comfortable with both small and large dogs. I’ve also helped raise two litters of puppies - from early feeding and socialisation through to basic training, so I feel confident caring for puppies, adult dogs and seniors. I love being outdoors and regularly go on long walks, so dogs in my care will receive plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, always tailored to their individual needs and owners preferences. Training and structure are important to me. One of my dogs went on to work with the police, which reflects my experience with consistency, routine and positive reinforcement. I will treat every dog as if they were my own, providing a calm, safe and loving environment. I also send regular updates and photos, so you can feel completely at ease while your dog is in my care. I predominantly work from home and have a flexible routine, which allows me to offer doggy day care, walks, and house sitting. I am happy to adapt to each pet’s usual routine, making sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for throughout the day. Your dog's day with me will be filled with plenty of playtime, exercise, and attention. Throughout the day, I'II make sure to provide a mix of mental stimulation with toys and games. I'm also happy to work on any training if needed, whether it's reinforcing basic commands or helping with specific behaviours. If your dog is more of a relaxer, we'll enjoy some quieter time, either inside or in the garden. It’s important for me to know if your dog has any specific requirements, behaviours , or needs so I can provide the best care possible. I don't have a preference for breed or size and genuinely love all dogs, so feel free to get in touch🙂

“Laura looked after our Cocker Spaniel Sonny at our house for 3 nights recently. She is reliable and trustworthy and clearly bonded with Sonny. Her communication was excellent and so we had no anxiety about our home and Sonny whilst we were away. I cannot recommend her highly enough.”

“We couldn’t recommend Fiona more highly. Very conscientious and caring plus she’s a quick learner on picking up very detailed care instructions for our rescue dog.”

“When looking for a dog sitter for our 14 year old springer we were keen to find someone we could immediately feel that she was in good hands. Josh looked after Saffy and our home and we couldn’t have asked for more. Josh messaged when he arrived and left and sent photos of a chilled and happy dog. We would certainly recommend Josh and will be booking him again.”

“Marina was great with my 2 dogs. She kept them really happy and entertained throughout the day. I would definitely recommend using her no matter the age of your dog. She is very accommodating and lovely to arrange dog care with. Thank you very much Marina xx”

“Mikey's first sitting with our 12 month old puppy went brilliantly. Mikey was punctual, followed all instructions diligently and was very attentive to our dogs needs who is in her first season and somewhat needy and clingy. Mikey left our home spic and span too, you couldn't ask for a better service, even sharing pictures of Siena enjoying her walkies and post walk naps and cuddles!”

About: I am 27 years old and adore animals, with a particular soft spot for Labradors. I currently work part-time as a retail assistant at Shakespeare’s Birthplace Trust and Anne Hathaway’s Cottage shops. I live in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon town, a 10 minute walk away from the Shottery fields and the river Avon, so I have access to a variety of beautiful locations for walks. I am responsible, reliable, organised and detailed-oriented, both in my professional and personal life. I am experienced looking after a variety of pets. From a young age, we had a family rescue dog (a Labrador and Rottweiler cross, named Harry) so I have experience with larger breeds. I was responsible from the age of 13 for my beautiful chocolate Labrador, Rolo. I was heavily involved in training her as puppy, reading up on tips and tricks to help her learn easy commands and toilet training as easily as possible. We had very little accidents in the house as a result. We had a cat from five years before we brought our gorgeous puppy home and managed to integrate them to each other easily enough, so I am experienced in both canine and feline care. They became the best of friends over the years, although Rolo would still bark at and attempt to chase other cats, so I was always aware and cautious of this when out on walks. I trained her for on and off lead walking, ensuring good recall skills for the variety of walks and activities we enjoyed together over the 12 wonderful years I was privileged to have with her. She adored swimming and spending time with her best furry friend, a labradoodle called Koda and we had many wonderful walks, sleepovers and beach trips with the two of them, so I am experienced in handling multiple dogs at a time. I love spending time with all animals and have spent a good amount of time with friends and family members’ pets as well as my own. I appreciate that every dog or cat has different energy levels and needs, so I am more than happy to stick to any pre-established routine. I am also trained in dog first aid, so am able to remain calm under pressure and respond to any crisis that may arise. I am happy to administer any medications that are needed, so long as there is open communication about this between myself and the pet owner prior to the sit. I meet a variety of dogs in my workplace on a day to day basis and have experience interacting with service dogs and their owners - whether this be for sight loss, hearing loss, anxiety issues, mental health or assistance dogs - as I help with answering queries about accessibility to both Shakespeare’s Birthplace and Anne Hathaway’s cottage. I am also often on biscuit duty for the four-pawed customers who come through the shops, as I am comfortable assessing how best to approach each individual dog and their owners. I truly believe that any pet is an extension of the family and should be treated with the same kind of attention, love and care. I am dedicated to providing warm, friendly, stimulating care for your pet, being attentive to their needs in the aim of allowing them to feel comfortable and relaxed with a pet sitter in their home. I currently work part-time as a retail assistant at Shakespeare’s Birthplace Trust and Anne Hathaway’s Cottage. Due to this, I live in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon town. My flat is only a 10 minute walk away from the Shottery fields and the river Avon, so I have access to a variety of beautiful locations for walks. My current working pattern means that I am available every other weekend for sits, as well as being free to do some weekday sits. If the sit coincided with any of my working days, I would be available from 7pm-7am for an overnight sit or to do a drop-in visit. I appreciate that every pet has different energy levels and needs, so I am more than happy to stick to any pre-established routine. I aim to provide exercise, stimulative play, company, fuss and cuddles, alongside the basics of providing food, water and toilet breaks for the pet. I am also trained in dog first aid, so I am able to remain calm under pressure and respond to any crisis that may arise. I am happy to administer any regular medications that are needed, so long as there is open communication about this between myself and the pet owner prior to/during the sit. I am also more than happy to provide photos and updates to the pet owner during the sit.
“Steve was a great sitter for our dog, Mabel. His communication was really good and he sent us photo updates which made us feel relaxed that our dog was in good hands. He also came to visit us and meet Mabel a few days before sitting, so they got to know each other beforehand. Mabel seemed very happy when we came home and she had clearly enjoyed having Steve look after her. We will very happily use Steve again and recommend him to anyone who needs a reliable, caring person to look after their pet!”

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for most of my life with the years of experience being pets - specifically dogs - that other people own, not my own. I have had the pleasurable experience of being a cat owner for the majority of my life and am incredibly confident in making sure they are all fed and looked after. As a dog/cat/house sitter I thrill in looking after furry friends. One of my favourite hobbies is walking so you can be sure that I'd find exercising your pooch a pleasure! There's also nothing I love more than curling up with a good book alongside a pet or two. In my house sitting history I have diligently looked after gardens and houseplants - watering, weeding and even things like pruning lavender and tomatoes. I have even helped do personal projects such as documenting house-based documents like deeds and marriage certificates for the owner. Currently I am unemployed and can house/pet sit for weeks at a time if need be. I volunteer at various places (the main ones being Thursday and Wednesday during the day) but such activities can be postponed if needed or timed to fit any needed schedule. As I am not offering boarding, only pet-sitting I adhere to the rules given to me by the owner in regards to their own pet and their own house. These can change depending on owner but you can rely on me following basic pet-sitting etiquette such as never allowing a pet out unwatched and keeping dogs on leads when walking on public paths that specify so. I will also regularly update the owner on the status of their pets.
“Shona was amazing with our very nervous GSD. She was on time, had really clear comms and was very understanding when we ended up being a bit late back. Highly recommend her as a sitter and our dog Mindy had a lovely time as well.”

About: Growing up with various dog breeds from small to large since before I was born, I have extensive experience of all ages. For my 7th birthday I asked for a kitten and brought her up with love and care until she sadly passed of old age. I have previously volunteered as a foster carer for dogs and have been able to confidently meet all of the needs and wants of those in my care. I am currently a mature student, completing a masters via distant learning. This means I am at home all day and have complete freedom to give all the time and attention that your pet wants. I am happy to look after your pet either in your home or mine. I have a house with a fenced garden and no other pets at home (except for a fish but he’s no bother and in a secure tank). There are lots of beautiful walks locally with open green areas to explore whilst out and about on walkies. I have 2 children, aged 8 and 11 who are extremely confident with pets, however, they will never be left alone with any dogs or cats and are at school during the day.

About: Alice- I have been awarded a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Science. I have work experience at a veterinary practice, volunteer lambing and a range of handling experience of both domestic and exotic animals. I have 2 pets, a cat called Mika and a Golden Retriever called Lomby. Previously I have dog walked, pet sat and house sat. Sam- From a young age I’ve been relied upon by people in my local area to pet sit, house sit and provide dog walking services. I have experience with dogs, cats, chickens and rabbits. Also I have two dogs of my own, both black labs, called Poppy and Olive. We are both on a gap year so have schedules that are flexible. Sam is going to drama school in September but Alice remains available. We are willing to do weekdays, weekends and overnight care. Through Alice’s Diploma she has experience in a variety of animal enclosures and maintenance of environment, as well as dog cpr. We will strive to make sure your pet/pets has safe, comfortable, positive experience in our care. We look forward to hearing from you.
“Ben was wonderful with our nervous rescue dog Mindy. She usually takes a long time to come around to new people but she was letting Ben stroke her by the end of the day! Ben is an excellent and professional communicator, and was very keen to understand Mindy and her needs. I would highly recommend Ben’s services.”

“Ross was superb with my aged sheepdog. He slept next to her bed downstairs and they became best mates for two weeks. Nothing was too much trouble and he insisted on accompanying her to hydrotherapy sessions. He is a very kind person and I would have no hesitation in recommending him as a house/pet sitter.”
