“Annie was brilliant with both our pets. Our cat is very timid but he came out of his shell and spent time with Annie. Our dog absolutely loved having her spend time with him and take him on a walk. Both our pets were thoroughly looked after as if they were her own and we would recommend Annie to anyone looking for a pet sitter”

“Our first time using Kristhea. Very impressed, lots of updates throughout the evening and Anika loves her. We had a great evening out knowing our Husky was being well looked after. I would recommend and we will be using Kristhea again. Many thanks.”

“Sian helped us out near the end of a very tricky week, and we only wish we'd found her sooner! Absolutely lovely person and our pup Dillon took to her straight away! Would highly recommend!”

“Fay looked after our German Shepherd Dog Izzy for 3 nights. Communication throughout the process has been great and she suggested a pre meet up so she could meet Izzy and we could ask any questions, this was great as it put our minds at ease about someone staying in our home. Whilst away with got several updates a day with pictures and videos included. Will definitely use Fay again in the future”

“100% this lady is the one you want with your animals. From the meet and greet Chenai was friendly, warm and respectful. She's so knowledgeable of animals, was considerate of our dogs needs from the get go and Beau warmed to her immediately. She kept us up to date with pictures and messages every day and it was evident how quickly Beau felt comfortable with her. Thank you Chenai - you've been wonderful and cannot wait to have you over again. Thank you thank you x”

About: I have been a walker for cinnamon trust and have also recently completed an online puppy training course. I also have experience with dogs through family and friends. I do not work Saturday-Tuesday and can do overnight stays at weekends. Every other weekend it is just me at home so I can do home stays at owners home. I cannot take dogs who are unable to be left on their own. All dogs I take must be friendly with young children. I have a fully enclosed good sized garden which has artificial grass so usable all year round. I live a 1 minute walk to fields perfect for walking dogs with no roads to cross. I allow dogs on my sofa and in my bed for cuddles. I have space for a crate if owner can provide for their dogs comfort. I live in a bungalow so suitable for elderly dogs. I have a pet free home and my 2 year old son lives with me so a child friendly dog is essential. Dogs must be able to be left on their own for short periods of time. I also will happily pop in to feed, play with and litter scoop cats.
“Jamie was amazing! This was my first time using a sitter and he really put me at ease. He took great care of my 3 dogs, sent photo updates, and made sure they were happy all weekend. Couldn’t have asked for better - highly recommend and will definitely book again.”

“Bethany looked after our little Marshmallow for a few days. She was brilliant and very understanding when we needed her to be flexible due to my husband's schedule. Highly recommended! Thank you so much for taking such good care of our cat!”

“Booked Jess again to look after Tony for a few nights - Jess was communicative with updates and any questions she had. Tony was very well looked after while I was away and happy when I returned home. I would definitely recommend Jess”

“Shaylee might just be the best in the business! We booked our 1 year old cocker spaniel Winnie to stay with Shaylee whilst we were on holiday for 4 days. It was a late booking and there was never a problem too big or too small with Shaylee. We received regular updates and pictures which made us feel reassured. Shaylee went above and beyond with looking after Winnie and I honesty can’t speak highly enough of the service Shaylee provides.”

“Shannon was fantastic! Super reliable, respectful, and easy to communicate with. We came home to a clean house and happy pets — everything was just as we left it. She took amazing care of our dogs and parrots, giving them lots of attention and keeping them calm and happy while we were away. Would definitely have her house sit for us again!”

“How wonderful Lily is! Don’t hesitate to trust her with your dog…she took such good care of Lucky, my golden retriever over 3 days of doggy daycare. I was travelling to Gloucester for my business and needed walks and daycare for Lucky. She did both brilliantly. She is kind, trustworthy and adores dogs. Thank you Lily. Lucky and I will definitely see you soon.”

About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is that I’ve truly lived a life surrounded by dogs — all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. From playful puppies to gentle seniors, I’ve cared for them all, and each one has taught me something new about patience, communication, and unconditional love. I understand that every dog is unique — some need extra time to warm up, some need to burn off tons of energy, and others just want a calm lap and some quiet company. I’m confident handling everything from crate training and leash manners to giving meds or helping older dogs with mobility issues. Because I’ve had dogs my whole life, this kind of care is second nature to me. Beyond the basics, I focus on building trust with each dog so they feel safe, secure, and loved while you’re away. It’s not just about keeping them fed — it’s about making sure they’re happy and emotionally cared for too. Pet care is a big part of my everyday life — it’s not just something I do, it’s part of who I am! I work weekdays from 9 to 4, so I plan my pet care around that schedule. Mornings and evenings are dedicated to walks, feeding, playtime, and cuddles, and I’m available for pet sitting visits before or after work, as well as on weekends. Since I already care for my own dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and fish, animal care is part of my daily rhythm — it’s second nature. I’m used to juggling different needs and routines, and I love spending that time connecting with animals and making sure they’re happy, healthy, and comfortable In my own home, pet care is woven into my daily routine — from feeding and cleaning to walks, playtime, and lots of love. With dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and fish under one roof (or in the yard!), I’m experienced in managing different needs and personalities. I make sure every animal gets the right balance of structure, attention, and comfort. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I take the time to learn their likes, quirks, and schedules — whether that’s giving a shy cat space, keeping a playful pup entertained, or making sure medications are given on time. I treat every home with respect and every pet like they’re part of my own animal family.

“Emily looked after our little puppy when we went away for the night. She was really flexible and friendly the whole time. Our puppy is a little shy but he had a great time there and Emily looked after him very well, even letting him out at night. We would definitely use Emily again. Thank you xxx”

About: I earned money in my local neighbourhood through caring for dogs from regular drops in to holiday cover/house sitting. We have always had a family dog who I have loved caring for. This has taken us from young puppies to elderly dogs. I am currently working to self finance my uni degree in sports science. I am fairly flexible with scheduling so should be able to work around you I like to meet the owners and pet to understand what the owner wants and to make the dog feel comfortable and know what he or she likes or dislikes.
“Jessica took great care of Pickle - she was communicative prior to looking after Pickle and kept me updated throughout her time there. Would highly recommend to other folks looking for a lovely person to look after their dogs!”

Annie looked after my two elderly terriers for a week while I was on holiday, plus my five bantams. She provided an excellent level of care, and sent regular updates. The house was tidy when I got back, and the dogs had clearly enjoyed Annie's company and care. I will definitely be asking Annie to dog, chicken and house sit in the future.

Rebecca babysat my 3 greyhounds for the evening, she was so good, they were happy and content with her, Frank cuddled up to her all evening! She sent me photographs of them during the evening so I knew they were ok. I would definitely book her again and strongly recommend her.
we are late giving a review which is no reflection on Vanessa. its our first time using Rover and also having a house sitter. we were extremely hesitant about getting a sitter because it was so new to us and we have had the luxury of having family and friends previously. Right from the start Vanessa made and effort and relieved our concerns, it was like having a family friend coming to meet us and our house hold. Vanessa showed her friendly caring and affectionate character soon as arriving. Our Pug took straight to her like she had always known her. Due to our devastating family loss of our beloved Staffordshire bull terrier of 16 years, Rosie has been very quite and reserved in her emotions seemly lost. Vanessa is a wonderful lady whom is kind and very willing. taking care of Rosie needs Our house was kept and retuned in an immaculate condition after our two weeks away. Vanessa was willing to accommodate our needs and preferences even going as far as buying roses weekly for our passed staffy, buying wrapping paper for a family birthday the day of our return. She was wonderful with our rabbits keeping their hutch clean and trying them with new foods. She would send regular updates and photos from our fury friends the whole time we were away. We would highly recommend Vanessa.
Evie was a fabulous dog sitter, she kept me updated on how Percy was doing regularly. Evie was always accommodating meeting Percy before she sat for him. I knew he was in safe hands. Evie was so respectful and kind, left our house immaculately. Totally trustworthy and perfect thank you to Evie.

The dogs were looked after so well it was worrying leaving them with someone I've never met before but Kaylene put all my worries at ease. Sent me pictures throughout the day and they took a real shine to her. Will definitely use Kaylene again and will look into going for a weekly walks

We are so grateful to have found Steph! She took amazing care of our dog, Arthur, while we were away getting married. We received loads of updates and beautiful photos throughout the day, which truly put our minds at ease and brought big smiles to our faces. The pictures were so lovely, we can’t wait to get some of them printed! We were a bit nervous leaving Arthur on his own for the first time since losing our other dog recently, but it was clear he was having the best time and loving every minute with Steph. Honestly, he was definitely sad to see her go! When we got home, Arthur was happy, relaxed, and clearly very loved while we were away. Steph went above and beyond, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll absolutely be booking with her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone kind, trustworthy, and truly passionate about pets. Thank you so much, Steph!
