I have extensive experience with cats, dogs, small and exotic animals. Pet sitting was my first job when I was a child, it's something I've continued doing for my whole life and since then I've pursued a career in animal welfare. Most recently I worked at an animal rescue, looking after many different types of cats and dogs, with various care needs and behaviours. I am comfortable adminstering medications, including insulin and I have an up to date certifaction in pet first aid. In 2024 I obtained my Masters degree in Anthrozoolgy, which has allowed me to gain experience with therapy animals, as well as a much deeper understanding of the essential role our pets play in our own welfare.

I have been house sitting for most of my life so your pet's security and safety is always my priority. New environments can be stressful for pets so I prefer to house sit rather than board. This also means less change for them and care is completely tailored around you and your pet's needs. Please let me know of any questions and concerns prior to booking so we can discuss the best way to look after your pet and keep them safe.

Annie came to our rescue last minute and what a silver lining! We met the night before we were due to leave and I instantly felt at ease. Annie looked after our elderly dogs and bearded dragon with a lot of love and they were so content when we arrived home, we had updates and kept in contact. Will definitely be using Annie for any future adventures. Thanks again!
Great experience with Annie. Our two young cats got on very well with her and she clearly made the time to stop and play and make a fuss of them as well as feed them. She also made an effort to go and find one locally when it hadn’t appeared for its food the day before. Comms were good too. Thanks Annie!
Annie was absolutely fantastic! She is very experienced in looking after cats - our Eddie was clearly looked after and content when we came back home! Annie also kept our house clean. Would absolutely recommend :).

Annie looked after our house, black lab Bandit and kitty Freddie for 3 nights. Annie was great with Bandit and he was super relaxed and happy with her. We hadn't left Bandit before but after an initial meet and greet I didn't have any worries about leaving Bandit with Annie; she's obviously a natural and you can tell she loves animals. We wouldn't hesitate to book Annie again if we go away and I'm sure Bandit and Freddie would love to see her again. Thanks Annie 😊

Schedule
I am currently working part time so I have flexible availability for house sitting and dog walking. I am based in Gloucester but I am happy provide services around/ outside Gloucestershire. I understand how important routine is for you and your pets so do not hesitate to contact me to discuss how I can fit into your routine in a way that works for you.
