I trained my dog myself, he was perfectly house trained and even commands such as Touch, Paw, Jump, Sit I am currently employed however Animals are my passion. i’d love to integrate dogs into my daily life. i would be free every evening and most weekends! i can always make time for a pooch I have a fenced in garden, and also live 30 seconds from a dog friendly field. my living room and furniture is open to dogs, however a baby gate has been installed to the living room door to limit access to the whole house.
“Ella was fantastic boarding our 6 month old pup for 5 days. He was very energetic but Ella had the patience of a saint and looked after him so well. They went on long walks where he could run around parks and had plenty of toys and training sessions. Ella also sent lots of picture and video updates for that extra peace of mind. Joyce kept good communication and it was clear from pictures that Tango was enjoying himself there (and by the sulking after we left!) Joyce was great on drop off too, showing me around her home and explaining where Tango would be, asking questions about his needs and spending a bit of time with him whilst I was there so I could see how he was too. I'd also like to say that her and her partner are genuine lovely people too, would be very happy to use them again.”

About: Hi, my name is Alix. I am 24 years old and live in a ground floor flat in matson, Gloucester. I have 2 children, 3&5 years old. I also have 4 cats who have been the first encounter for many dogs which I am happy to do with the owner here if your dog hasn’t been around cats before. I also understand that sometimes dogs and cats aren’t the best of friends so I’m happy to keep them separate if needed. I unfortunately don’t currently drive so you would need to bring your pooch to me. Caring for dogs is a passion for me. I took a break from dog boarding for a while but now on the hunt to make more doggy friends and help out owners! I have been dog boarding for 3 years now and cared for dogs of all ages. My children are used to dogs & my partner has 2 Staffordshire bull terriers at his mum’s who my children see regularly. I also have a jack russel and a jug at my mum’s who I absolutely adore and grew up with. I have my own fenced garden and will definitely take your pooch on walks at our local field! Monday & friday I do school pick up and drop off, however if your dog isn’t very good with being alone I can bring them along or I can find someone else to take my daughter to school on the odd occasion if need be of the 2 days I usually do and I will stay home to ensure your dog isn’t left alone. As long as i have notice i can ensure we’re home all day if need be for your dogs anxiety I am in a ground floor flat, I have my own fenced garden and a field nearby which dogs absolutely love to go and have a run around. I keep dogs on lead for safety. Dogs will be welcome to come on the furniture and sleep in the bed unless the owner requests otherwise.

About: I am currently a University student so am based in Gloucester September - December and Andover June -September and mid December to January!! Am able to be very flexible, can accept sits as soon as 12 hours before and cancellations the same, very happy to work with any and all routines and have experience with disabled, anxious and “difficult” animals and am more than happy to work around whatever makes them comfortable. I have always loved animals and have been surrounded buy them from a young age. we had dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, tortoises and a hedgehog! i have been working and studying with animals for about 8/9 years now and am currently studying Clinical Animal Behavior and Training at University. I honestly love doing rover work while studying as not only does it mean I have a lovely quiet place to study but going out on walks means I get out and about in study breaks which is so important for productivity and mental health. I am currently open for the summer bookings from June to September I will be operating mainly in the south west as I will be based in Andover in Hampshire though could travel further for a long stay. i am currently a student studying animal behavior at university, this means my schedule is quite open, having a full day of lectures on a Tuesday and 2-3 hours on Monday and Thursday. I can essentially learn online and do all of my work from a kitchen table which is perfect for looking after pets. I'm afraid I cannot offer boarding as I live in student accommodation and I wouldn't like to put any dog in a potentially stressful environment! When I'm sitting at the house I will never leave the house for longer than your animal is happy with which we can talk about, as I don't have many other responsibilities I will not have any unexpected reasons to leave. I often spend my days at a kitchen table on a sofa with a dog bed next to me, this way you'll pet can feel that they can come as close or stay as far away as they like! I love a good cuddle but will respect personal space if they prefer. Often first morning/day I try to keep myself "small" so that your animal can investigate me in their home properly this often looks as if I'm ignoring your pet as I want them to feel at ease to investigate me as much as they want and get comfortable with me without me forcing myself into their space. I never, ever mingle any animals be them dogs, cats or hamsters(!) that have not previously met for safety reasons.

About: I have my own dogs (Patterdale terriers & jack russel). I have grown up in the farming industry, so I spent my childhood riding horses, running through the fields and playing with the dogs. My dogs are the first thing I look at in the morning and the last thing I I say goodnight to. If I didn’t have dogs, my life would be silent, they create more fun. Im currently studying at uni, i can be flexible for drop in home visits in between of lectures or long breaks. The latest I finish on a Monday and Friday is 6. I do have early morning rugby training(this would only cause inconvenience with overnight stays) as I would have to leave early. Weekends are completely free. Tuesday is free all day with one online lecture in the evening, and Thursday is also free all day with one evening lecture. Wednesday is normally game day,(this can change weekly). Dog walking- I can walk (custom to dog)x a day. I would keep the dog on the lead unless said otherwise by owners, likewise with interacting with other dogs. Drop ins- I can let the dog in the garden, and play for length of time I have free, and top up water and food bowl. Overnight stays- ensure they have been let out before bed, have a little play, and food is eaten.

This is the main reason why I'm looking after pets other people. Extra money is just an added benefit. About: I have grown up around animals my entire life, had both cats and dogs - I am trusted take care of my family and friends dogs and cats when they go away. I have worked with dogs of all different sizes and breeds and I have also worked in my Auntie’s Cattery, all rescued and brought in. I am a University student and am in university Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, will free time inbetween lectures. Tuesday I have all day to visit, walk or just sit with your animals. Weekends I am free whenever to care. I listen to instructions and follow how you work with your animals so it is no different for them when I visit. At my home (boarding and drop-ins): My home is a calm, clean and pet-friendly environment. I keep all potential hazards out of reach, ensure doors and gates are secure at all times and never leave a boarding dog unattended for extended periods. Pets staying with me have their own comfortable space to sleep and settle, access to fresh water at all times and a consistent daily routine to help them feel at ease quickly. I live in inner London with good access to local parks and green spaces for walks and exercise throughout the day. At a pet owner's home (house sitting and drop-in visits): I follow the owner's routine and instructions carefully and precisely: feeding schedules, medication if required, preferred walking routes, sleeping arrangements. I treat the home with full respect and discretion and communicate any concerns or changes immediately rather than waiting until the end of a booking. Communication: Pet owners receive regular photo and text updates throughout every booking so they can relax knowing exactly how their pet is doing. I never leave a client wondering. If anything changes or I have any concern about a pet's wellbeing, I reach out immediately and handle it calmly and responsibly. Meet and greet: I always encourage a meet and greet before any first booking. It gives your pet the chance to get comfortable with me, and it gives you the chance to see how I interact with them before committing. Transparency and trust from the start is how I work.

I trained my dog myself, he was perfectly house trained and even commands such as Touch, Paw, Jump, Sit I am currently employed however Animals are my passion. i’d love to integrate dogs into my daily life. i would be free every evening and most weekends! i can always make time for a pooch I have a fenced in garden, and also live 30 seconds from a dog friendly field. my living room and furniture is open to dogs, however a baby gate has been installed to the living room door to limit access to the whole house.

I'm very calm and gentle with animals, and will be a responsible care giver for your beloved canine. I work from home half-days on Fridays with flexible hours, and am generally free on weekends. I'm very flexible around timing and happy to work around your pet's needs. We have a fenced-in garden and live on a quiet street just off the canal path and near several great fields and walks. Can provide dog beds and are flexible on whether dogs are allowed on furniture.
