As a dog owner myself (my energetic Springer Spaniel, Ernie, certainly keeps me on my toes!), I understand that every pet is unique. Some dogs thrive on long countryside adventures, while others are happiest with a gentle stroll and plenty of sniffing. I always tailor walks and care to suit your pet’s age, breed, energy levels and routine. Ernie happily walks for up to an hour, so I’m more than comfortable with active dogs, but I’m just as happy taking things at a slower pace for puppies, seniors or more relaxed companions. Outside of pet sitting, I work in creative production where organisation, communication and attention to detail are part of my everyday life. I’m also a volunteer with the British Red Cross Emergency Response Team, so remaining calm, dependable and prepared comes naturally. I’m used to planning my day around walks, feeding and making sure my own dog gets plenty of attention and stimulation. I know how much trust it takes to leave both your pet and your home in someone else’s hands, so I’ll always treat both with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, toilet breaks, sleeping arrangements and any specific instructions you leave. I’m careful with doors, gates and leads, and I’ll always make sure pets are safe and settled before leaving. I’m also very respectful of people’s homes and will keep everything clean, tidy and secure.
