About: Hi, I’m Heather, and I’m a lifelong animal lover with many years of experience caring for dogs and cats. I have had many pets during my childhood and professionally looked after other peoples animals since 18. I have one dog, now aged 12, which I met through a dog sitting platform, this has given me experience with dogs of different ages, personalities and needs, including the patience and extra care that comes with looking after an older dog. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets, and I always treat every animal as if they were my own. I am DBS checked and currently work at a local school part time, where I support children in a caring and responsible role. About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a child myself and had a dog as a kid. Since then my own parents have had other dogs which I’ve obviously loved and cared for as and when, whilst unable to have a dog of my own. Circumstances - ie work - mean I can’t commit to having my own dog full time, to my son’s dismay, but we have so much love and affection for dogs that Rover is a perfect fit for us. I’ve only ticked availability for when my son and I can live our best life and share that time with your beautiful dog. We are always out and about exploring Lichfield and living life to the fullest…and spending time with a pooch pal would complete that way of life! Full disclosure we live in a flat but is as pet friendly as flats can be. We literally live opposite Stowe Pool playing fields and like I say to my 9-year-old, we have one of the biggest gardens in Lichfield. We would love a dog to walk, to stay with us and maybe even play cricket with us!

About: I recently lost my 16 year old yorkie Daisy who was with us from a puppy. She was part of our family and we miss her terribly. Our home is too quiet now and I would love to take care ofyour fur baby if you would let me. We live in a bungalow with a secure fenced garden. We have no other pets or children around so your pet would be our priority whilst with us. We don't smoke and are both 63 years old. We have no boundaries in our home and your pets are allowed anywhere and on sofa or bed. I look forward to hopefully hearing from you. X I do not work as I'm a carer for my husband at home so I have plenty of spare time and love to give to your furbaby. About: My husband and I have adopted 5 dogs in our time together - from senior to puppy - as well as fostered over 10 dogs for three different rehoming charities. We treat every dog like a member of our family, and ensure they leave full of love, confidence and TLC. We are used to introducing new members of the household to our current fluffy residents (a puppy GSD and a senior Greyhound) in a positive, planned manner. We love to send pupdates to the families of our residents, so you'll always know what's going on with your baby. All pets that come to stay will be my full responsibility at all times, while my husband will be around to give extra love and cuddles. I work from home full time, meaning I am always on hand for both young and old visitors who may need more regular access to toileting and attention. We walk our dogs twice a day, one long walk for the puppy and a short walk for our senior dog, and can be more active if required. We spend lots of time playing, cuddling and training our dogs - and rarely can I say no to taking a quick break from work to pay them some attention. We have a fully fenced, extra large garden allowing pets to run freely off lead. We live less than a 5 minute walk from Cannock Chase and multiple local parks, perfect for pets to enjoy. We have two resident dogs, who are both very accustomed to strange dogs coming and going. One of our dogs is crated, and we have a spare XXL crate readily available if crate care is needed or preferred.

Our son is now 4 years old and does love all the dogs that come to us but is not over bearing on them as he’s more interested in playing with his hot wheels cars or diggers! We have a lovely home in Norton canes with a fenced garden which has Astro turf grass so no muddy paws! If walking your dog I’m on the doorstep of chasewater and other smaller parks which I also love walking my own dog. You can be rest assured I will never release any dog I care for off the lead.

Poppy can sometimes be a little unpredictable with other dogs and yet, they were fully mindful of this, gave her a lot of exercise, love and attention and gave her free reign of their house - their dog, Evie, is clearly very comfortable with other dogs around and overall I felt that this family go "above and beyond", even going so far as to drive over to my house to drop her off at the end of the day. Honestly one of the best experiences for myself and for Poppy and I would certainly use again. Just an amazing experience!! 5******”

About: I have had dogs my whole life, I currently have a 5 year old cocker spaniel, who is very loving and caring, if not a little mental. My kids also love dogs and yours would be treated like one of the family.. I work from home most days. I have a fenced in garden and the front door opens right on to an open space for walks. A few times a week I am up at Cannock Chase with the dog, So depends on what your dog needs. I can just slot them in to the plan. I have a fenced garden and a lovely cocker spaniel to keep your dog company, equally if they need they can come and sit the office or in a crate. Whatever they need. There are 2 cats, but they stay out the way upstairs.

We have a number of years experience with different breeds and have chosen to do this as a job because we like being outdoors, we constantly walk around and go on long walks so why not do it with an animal and get their steps in for the day too. Also they say dogs are your best friend, which is true. We would treat all animals the same way you would treat a human. We are kind, outgoing and have so much love for animals. About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a child myself and had a dog as a kid. Since then my own parents have had other dogs which I’ve obviously loved and cared for as and when, whilst unable to have a dog of my own. Circumstances - ie work - mean I can’t commit to having my own dog full time, to my son’s dismay, but we have so much love and affection for dogs that Rover is a perfect fit for us. I’ve only ticked availability for when my son and I can live our best life and share that time with your beautiful dog. We are always out and about exploring Lichfield and living life to the fullest…and spending time with a pooch pal would complete that way of life! Full disclosure we live in a flat but is as pet friendly as flats can be. We literally live opposite Stowe Pool playing fields and like I say to my 9-year-old, we have one of the biggest gardens in Lichfield.
