About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a child myself and had a dog as a kid. Since then my own parents have had other dogs which I’ve obviously loved and cared for as and when, whilst unable to have a dog of my own. Circumstances - ie work - mean I can’t commit to having my own dog full time, to my son’s dismay, but we have so much love and affection for dogs that Rover is a perfect fit for us. I’ve only ticked availability for when my son and I can live our best life and share that time with your beautiful dog. We are always out and about exploring Lichfield and living life to the fullest…and spending time with a pooch pal would complete that way of life! Full disclosure we live in a flat but is as pet friendly as flats can be. We literally live opposite Stowe Pool playing fields and like I say to my 9-year-old, we have one of the biggest gardens in Lichfield. We would love a dog to walk, to stay with us and maybe even play cricket with us!

We have a lovely home in Norton canes with a fenced garden which has Astro turf grass so no muddy paws! If walking your dog I’m on the doorstep of chasewater and other smaller parks which I also love walking my own dog. You can be rest assured I will never release any dog I care for off the lead.

Poppy can sometimes be a little unpredictable with other dogs and yet, they were fully mindful of this, gave her a lot of exercise, love and attention and gave her free reign of their house - their dog, Evie, is clearly very comfortable with other dogs around and overall I felt that this family go "above and beyond", even going so far as to drive over to my house to drop her off at the end of the day. They came to our house to meet Stanley prior to him having a day at their house on a "trial run" We took him, along with a car full of his toys and treats to their house and dropped him off, and to say he made himself at home was an understatement! He settled in so well and got on with Mark and Sue,playing with his toys and in and out to the garden "helping" Sue!!!!! We felt so happy leaving him, we knew he would be well looked after and he sure was, he had a ball! I have no hesitation in taking him back again and leaving him for week ends away and holidays!!! About: Hello! I am a student nurse with a genuine passion for caring for both people and animals. I have grown up in a home with dogs and cats, giving me years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments- from a little Dachshund to a high energy Labrador retriever. I have one dog and two cats of my own, and they mean the absolute world to me. Because of this, I completely understand how worrying it can be to leave your pets while your away. My aim is to give you complete peace of mind by ensuring your pets are safe, happy and well cared for in the comfort of their own home. I can provide dog walks, drop in visits, feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, companionship and overnight stays in your home if required. We have a number of years experience with different breeds and have chosen to do this as a job because we like being outdoors, we constantly walk around and go on long walks so why not do it with an animal and get their steps in for the day too. I’m quick to learn their behaviours and bond with them I am a university student however there is a lot of free time around my timetable and I currently don’t have another job so I am able to be very flexible. About: I have been around dogs from the day i was born. I would walk, feed and play with any dog i would see. And that hasn't changed, even now. I love any and every animal. From cats and dogs. About: My family and I have always had dogs! Family and friends have relied on me to look after their precious pooches numerous times. Our family home isn’t the same since losing our precious boy of 15years! We want to share our home and love of dogs with others. We live in a lovely area with lots of lovely walks and have a secure garden. I understand the anxieties you feel on leaving your precious fur baby but can guarantee your dog will be looked after as if he/she is our own. We will keep up with any routine your dog is used to and keep you updated with pictures and communication to reassure and give you peace of mind to ease any anxieties you may be feeling! We would advise you arrange a meet up at our home to ensure you feel comfortable and confident about leaving your dog in our care and more importantly to get your doggies approval! About: Having pets most of my life I’m experienced in taking great care of them, from puppies to senior. I love to go on walks/hikes & luckily I’m surrounded by plenty of great walking trails where I live. I work from home during the week, which would allow me to take great care of your pet and provide plenty of walks during my breaks. My ground floor apartment is private, spacious and cosy, your pet would be very safe here. Although it doesn’t have a garden, it does have a veranda and I can provide regular toilet breaks. I have no children or other pets and it is a smoke free home.

About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a child myself and had a dog as a kid. Since then my own parents have had other dogs which I’ve obviously loved and cared for as and when, whilst unable to have a dog of my own. Circumstances - ie work - mean I can’t commit to having my own dog full time, to my son’s dismay, but we have so much love and affection for dogs that Rover is a perfect fit for us. I’ve only ticked availability for when my son and I can live our best life and share that time with your beautiful dog. We are always out and about exploring Lichfield and living life to the fullest…and spending time with a pooch pal would complete that way of life! Full disclosure we live in a flat but is as pet friendly as flats can be. We literally live opposite Stowe Pool playing fields and like I say to my 9-year-old, we have one of the biggest gardens in Lichfield. We would love a dog to walk, to stay with us and maybe even play cricket with us!

About: I grew up with a rescue collie, dog sat for my brother's recuse dog and now we have our own fun loving 3 year old cocker spaniel! My partner Tim and I both work from home, which means your pet will have plenty of company and supervision throughout the day. I understand that you want your dog to be safe, comfortable and relaxed when you go away. I will follow any feeding or care instructions and treat your babies like my own. I am home most of the time being semi retired . My partner is fully retired and spends his day pottering in the garden and shed. I drive and am fit and healthy. Ted is never alone more than a couple of hours and you can rest assured your dog will have plenty of company. Ted is an escapologist so our home and garden is escape proof. Stairs can be closed off if you don't like your dog to climb them. Access to the garden is always available as is fresh water and comfy sofas.
