After meeting my initial sitter (not on Rover) and having great reservations, Jas and Tash were able to fit me in last minute. I went for a meet and greet with my two rascals and I was instantly at ease. They obviously care very much for animals and I felt no worries going away without them for the weekend. “We have used Chris multiple times now to look after our 2 cavapoos. Both are classic “velcro dogs” and even for us it can be overwhelming at times. Chris however is not phased by this and is happy to accommodate any needs you have to make your dog feel like they are at home. Both dogs are very picky eaters and on the most recent occasion she was so helpful in trialling new foods with them and letting us know which seemed best for them. We found it very amusing that on arrival to collect them, our dog was running round with her sock, which is exactly what he does at home! Thanks Chris. See you again next time!”

About: I have had dogs as pets pretty much all my life when living at home. Now that I live alone having a dog of my own wouldn’t work due to my job and working away. I would really love to still be able to look after dogs for other people and still get time with yours 😅 I currently work 2 on 4 off which means I’m away for 2 whole days sometimes 3 but back home for 4 so I have alot of free time. I live in a secure 2 bed flat but my estate has a lot of greenery where they can be out and about doing lots of walking.

About: My husband and I have adopted 5 dogs in our time together - from senior to puppy - as well as fostered over 10 dogs for three different rehoming charities. We treat every dog like a member of our family, and ensure they leave full of love, confidence and TLC. We are used to introducing new members of the household to our current fluffy residents (a puppy GSD and a senior Greyhound) in a positive, planned manner. We love to send pupdates to the families of our residents, so you'll always know what's going on with your baby. All pets that come to stay will be my full responsibility at all times, while my husband will be around to give extra love and cuddles. I work from home full time, meaning I am always on hand for both young and old visitors who may need more regular access to toileting and attention. We walk our dogs twice a day, one long walk for the puppy and a short walk for our senior dog, and can be more active if required. We spend lots of time playing, cuddling and training our dogs - and rarely can I say no to taking a quick break from work to pay them some attention. We have a fully fenced, extra large garden allowing pets to run freely off lead. We live less than a 5 minute walk from Cannock Chase and multiple local parks, perfect for pets to enjoy. We have two resident dogs, who are both very accustomed to strange dogs coming and going. One of our dogs is crated, and we have a spare XXL crate readily available if crate care is needed or preferred.

About: Animals are way better than humans! I am a very loving carer and owner of my two amazing pugs Gem and Jake and they are the best! I am a very active dog owner who is happy to take those short journeys for the little ones to the big walks for our more active fur babies. I have plenty of fenced back garden area for your beauts to play around. I have a good understanding of animal care and applying and administering medications. I have looked after pets (Mainly dogs) since being the age 18 and love every species of every living creature. ( No spiders get killed in my house) 🥰. I work from home part time and find I spend more time with my fur babies than actually work lol. They seriously make my day and my life revolves around my pets. I am happy and have enough room to accommodate up to two fur babies at the same time alongside my Fur babies. I spend all my spare time with my Gem and Jake and love them getting to socialise with other dogs too. I will send you regular videos and updates and I am happy to communicate with your selves on any questions. I also will come to your property for one hour visits to feed/walk your fur baby. I allow my pets free range of the house and my house is set up to accommodate this. I am happy for you to bring anything that will help your fur baby to settle and feel secure. We have a small dog flap and a high fenced secure back garden with plenty of space for your fur babies to run around and play.

Our son is now 4 years old and does love all the dogs that come to us but is not over bearing on them as he’s more interested in playing with his hot wheels cars or diggers! We have a lovely home in Norton canes with a fenced garden which has Astro turf grass so no muddy paws! Poppy can sometimes be a little unpredictable with other dogs and yet, they were fully mindful of this, gave her a lot of exercise, love and attention and gave her free reign of their house - their dog, Evie, is clearly very comfortable with other dogs around and overall I felt that this family go "above and beyond", even going so far as to drive over to my house to drop her off at the end of the day. About: I have had dogs as pets pretty much all my life when living at home. Now that I live alone having a dog of my own wouldn’t work due to my job and working away. I would really love to still be able to look after dogs for other people and still get time with yours 😅 I currently work 2 on 4 off which means I’m away for 2 whole days sometimes 3 but back home for 4 so I have alot of free time. So it is very easy for me to look after furry friends I have a fenced in garden which your dogs can go to the toilet in and stretch their legs in and vast amounts of free time which I can use to walk them. About: I have been around dogs from the day i was born. I would walk, feed and play with any dog i would see. And that hasn't changed, even now. I love any and every animal. From cats and dogs. To lizards and snakes. You name it. I love them I am very flexible with my hours. The only times i cannot do is after 4pm on a Monday. And after 5pm on Thursday. “Louise is a fantastic dog carer. While we were away she looked after Ruby, alongside her own dog. Ruby slept very well and didn't wake the family. Louise kept us in the loop as to activities with Ruby and provided us with numerous photos which was great. She also text us to make sure of keeping her safe when out and about on the lead and off the lead. When we picked Ruby up she appeared very happy and healthy. About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a child myself and had a dog as a kid. Since then my own parents have had other dogs which I’ve obviously loved and cared for as and when, whilst unable to have a dog of my own. Circumstances - ie work - mean I can’t commit to having my own dog full time, to my son’s dismay, but we have so much love and affection for dogs that Rover is a perfect fit for us. I’ve only ticked availability for when my son and I can live our best life and share that time with your beautiful dog. We are always out and about exploring Lichfield and living life to the fullest…and spending time with a pooch pal would complete that way of life! Full disclosure we live in a flat but is as pet friendly as flats can be. We literally live opposite Stowe Pool playing fields and like I say to my 9-year-old, we have one of the biggest gardens in Lichfield.
