Pet care experience
From mice to moo cows, I've cared for them all.
I got my first rabbit when I was five, since then I have owned and or cared for: mice, gerbils, guinea pigs, lizards, snakes, rabbits, cats, dogs, horses, chickens, pigs and much more! Almost every species has bitten or scratched or hurt me in some way including being slapped by a highland cow horn! But this has never put me off caring for animals, I know animals can get nervous and they all have a different temperament which takes a few meetings to get used to. I am also very aware from my own experience with my pets that they are so much more than just pets, they are family and should be treated as such, honestly my pets get the same attention as my son!

We now use Megan regularly. Megan is great with Zeus our German shepherd and he loves going and gets really excited when he gets there
I felt very comfortable with Megan and had no issues with leaving Rocky with her. She was very loving towards Rocky and made him feel at home. Would definitely book again ⭐️

Neo, our over-active black lab/collie cross, had a great day with Megan. He got the run of the house and garden, had loads of play-time and came home happy (and exhausted). We'd be more than happy to leave Neo with Megan again in the future.
More than happy to leave Roger with Megan. This is his second visit and he is looking forward to the next one.

Schedule
I don't currently work, I study from home, my only regular commitments are taking my son to and from school, (dogs are allowed to come with me!) and I volunteer at a forest school for one hour a week on a Thursday. Outside that my only commitments are very home based, caring for my child and animals, maintaining my home, and a bit of self care here and there. There are obviously other reasons I would need to leave the house i.e. shopping, but I can fit that around caring for your animals because that's what I do now, I take care of my animals and make sure they have everything they need before I even think about running to Tesco!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in garden, upstairs and downstairs inside is available to animals, and all of my pets can be kept away from yours if necessary. Your pets would receive the same level of care as mine do. In other people's homes I would do exactly as asked trying to help keep the animal feeling safe and comfortable with their routine and familiar behaviours. That said I don't condone violence towards animals and will not use physical punishment even if you do.

A typical day
I live on the edge of Cannock chase so walkies is a given! I have a fully fenced in garden perfect for running jumping chasing a football! (Some digging accepted) hide and seek treats (with owners approval of treat). And there's Jasper, five years old, full of beans, and the gentlest pet owner I know. He has grown up around animals from the day he was born and is a true Steve Irwin at heart. Not to mention my massive collection of sticks!
