Hi, I'm Rachel, an accountant living in Lichfield with my partner and Ted, a 13 year old rescue cat. I have grown up with cats and love them, so I have signed up to catsit as it seems like a good way to spend some of my free time! I also know how hard it can be to find a cattery at short notice, and how some pets are a lot happier at home. I'm happy to look after rabbits, rodents and fish as well as cats. I have had pet rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils and fish when I was younger, so am comfortable with all of these.

I am DBS checked and identity verified. I'm happy to either collect keys before the sit starts or use a key box, and I will bring post/parcels in during a catsit, and close curtains and blinds overnight.

This was the first time we’d ever left Ari, so I was really nervous, but Rachel was absolutely brilliant and put our minds at ease from the start. She took such great care of Ari - setting up her automatic feeder, changing her water and litter, brushing her, playing with her and keeping her company while we were away. We loved the updates and photos Rachel sent while we were away. She even asked beforehand whether we’d like regular updates or would prefer to switch off and enjoy our holiday, which was really thoughtful. They made such a difference and meant we could relax knowing Ari was happy and well looked after. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Rachel again and I’m so glad we found her. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Ari! 💕😽

From the initial meet and greet Rachel was great and a very comfortable presence. Our cats are not great with new people however on day one we received an update photo of one of them sitting on the sofa with her! They clearly felt comfortable and I know we would definitely book her again. Thank you!

As I catsit around my day job, the area I cover is relatively small, so if you could mention your approx location (such as road name or near x supermarket) in your message, that would be great. Please note, visit times are usually before 9am and after 4pm - if you require specific visit times, please mention this in your message so I can be sure that I can accommodate you.
