Jack and Lydia were fantastic carers for our dog Bernie, he settled straight away with them and made a friend in Oatie their dog. I highly recommend Jack and Lydia.

Our Dachshund Ivy loved staying with Lydia, Jack and Oatie. They were so welcoming and very clearly love caring for dogs. We loved the updates and photos during ivy's visit, she had a great time and was quite tired after her busy weekend. Thank you so much for looking after her so well 💕

Second time we’ve used Lydia and Jack - they were very flexible and accommodating with drop off/pick up times and we really appreciated updates throughout the day to let us know how she was getting on!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

Pet care is so important to us as we both work from home. Our furry friend is our constant companion, and we ensure that they receive all the love and attention they need to stay happy and healthy. We make sure to take regular breaks to play and snuggle, and we always find time for daily walks. Luckily, we have some fantastic fields and parks near our house where we can go for long walks and explore nature together. Whether it's a quick walk around the block or a longer adventure through the fields, we always make sure our pup gets the exercise and fresh air they need. It's an excellent way to break up the day and keep us all happy and healthy! 🐾💕🌳

Safety, trust & environment

When it comes to caring for pets in our home creating a safe and trustworthy environment is our top priority! We have an enclosed garden and use baby gates to separate rooms in the house, ensuring that your furry friend has their own space if needed. We always follow any specific instructions or requests from pet owners to make sure their pets are comfortable and happy. Our goal is to create a stress-free environment for pets to relax and feel at home, giving pet owners peace of mind while they are away. With us, your furry friend will be in good hands!

Pets

A typical day

As both Jack and I (Lydia) work full-time from home, you can rest assured that your dog will have our attention and company throughout the day. We take regular breaks and enjoy scenic walks right on our doorstep, which we feel so fortunate to have. Our enclosed garden offers your dog plenty of opportunities for fresh air and outdoor time. To ensure a comfortable and safe environment, we have baby gates set up around the house, allowing for separation if your dog needs a bit of their own space. Your dog will have access to the garden, living room, kitchen, and study—where there’s an extra sofa that always seems to be a favourite spot for dogs to relax and be with us will we work.
