I grew up in a small village and became the neighbourhood babysitter, pet sitter and house sitter. Since I was a child we have fostered various breeds and boarded Guide Dogs in training. Other than dogs I have cared for: house cats, outdoor/farm cats, chickens, guinea pigs, a giant rabbit and a very speedy Bearded Dragon. I have been active on Rover since May 2025, and have had the pleasure of boarding and house sitting lots of lovely personalities. I prefer longer stays, 1 week +. If you are outside of my search area, feel free to ask. *Also the 80% stat on 'booking with photo updates' is incorrect. All my past and future bookings have and will include lots of photo updates.

Safety, trust & environment
Since I have experience with both dogs and cats, I have a good understanding of expressions and body language. I will respect your pets personalities and boundaries. I am a bit of a homebody so I will rarely leave their side. I would also be sure to follow your rules/house rules to put both you and your pets at ease. Hopefully my references can be of assurance too. I also like to meet you before we go ahead so that too can increase safety and trust for both of us. Thanks!

Holly looked after our dog, Paddy, overnight in our home for the second time, and once again she was fantastic. Paddy was completely comfortable with her, which gave us real peace of mind. Holly kept us updated throughout with photos and messages, so we always knew he was happy and well cared for. Another incredible experience with Holly, who took the very best care of our beloved Casper & Pearl. Holly is incredibly communicative, caring and kind, and we knew our little ones were in the best of hands. That kind of peace of mind is truly priceless!

Holly was lovely & took really good care of Sully. She was really attentive making sure all his needs were met & sending us updates on how he was doing. Sully had a great time, new places to sniff & a comfy sofa where he sprawled out after his long walks. We’d definitely use Holly again. Thank you!
Holly is a gem. My husband and I were quite nervous about our first time away from our kittens, but quickly felt at ease upon first meeting Holly and then receiving her first update on day one. It is clear that she loves animals, and our kittens took to her just about immediately - which is not common with new people! Holly was super communicative, responsive, and most importantly it was abundantly clear that our kittens enjoyed her company and did not feel at all stressed despite our being away. We highly recommend Holly and will rebook her whenever possible, for future travel!
