He was also very flexible and helpful which is a really great quality to find in someone these days. He’s definitely my go to locally going forward.”

“Jane was fantastic with our dog Sheena. Sheena is a rescue so can be a little timid and takes time to settle but Jane showed great patience with her. The photo updates throughout her stay were great and helped to ease our minds that Sheena was more than happy and comfortable. Thank you, Jane :)”

About: We're a young professional couple who’ve had dogs our whole lives. We can’t have one right now due to work, but we'd love to give yours a safe, loving home while you're away—treating them like part of the family. We both work till 6pm on weekdays with evenings and weekends free. When we are free we are happy to both fit our schedule around your dogs daily routine. We have a small fenced garden where your dog will be secure, we also back onto a field and have lots of lovely walks nearby where we can take them for some exercise and play. The dog will be treated like one of the family and will be kept to the rules they have when they’re at your home.
“YaLing took amazing care of our dog Milla who can be anxious in new environments and bark a lot. We were kept updated regularly and Milla seemed to really settle in and relax after a little while. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I've been around dogs for most of my life and have owned two wonderful Labrador Retrievers since I was 8 years old. Growing up with them has given me plenty of hands-on experience with everything from daily walks and feeding routines to playtime, training, and making sure they're happy and well cared for. Anyone who knows me will tell you I'm the biggest dog lover in our friendship group! I absolutely adore dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. Whether your dog is small or large, energetic or more relaxed, I'll make sure they receive the care, attention, and affection they deserve. One of the great benefits I can offer is that I work in a dog-friendly office, so if appropriate for your dog, they'll be able to come with me during the day rather than being left at home. They'll enjoy a sociable environment with plenty of company, attention, and opportunities for interaction throughout the day. I work Monday to Friday, but your dog's care will always be my priority. If your dog is sociable and you're happy for them to do so, they're very welcome to join me at my dog-friendly office, where they'll enjoy plenty of company and attention throughout the day. If your dog would be happier at home, I'll come home during my lunch break (12:00–1:00 pm) to take them for a walk, spend quality time with them, and make sure they have lots of fuss and attention before I head back to work. I'll then be home by around 4:15 pm at the latest for the rest of the evening. Dogs staying with me will enjoy walks in the morning, at lunchtime, and in the evening if that's what suits their exercise needs. Every dog is different, so I'll always tailor their routine to what they're used to and what makes them happiest. In the evenings, my partner Alex and I are both at home, so there'll be plenty of playtime, cuddles, enrichment, and quality time to help your dog feel settled and loved. I live in a spacious first-floor, two-bedroom, two-bathroom open-plan apartment, providing plenty of room for dogs to relax, play, and feel at home. I understand that every dog has different needs and routines, so I'm happy to accommodate your preferences. If your dog is crate-trained and you would like them crated for sleeping or when appropriate, I'm more than happy to do so. Our home is calm and quiet, with no children and no other pets, making it an ideal environment for dogs who enjoy a peaceful space or prefer being the only pet in the home. I'll always follow your instructions to help keep your dog comfortable, happy, and feeling secure throughout their stay.
“Bay was absolutely fantastic with our dog! She gave us regular updates and made rocky feel right at home! I am truly amazed at her service and would recommend her to anyone! Thank you so much and Rocky has made a new best friend!”

“Amelia and her family were brilliant again with our dogs -so thoughtful about them and brilliant to have photos of what they are up to. For the first time I feel I can really relax and not worry about them!”

“Amazing. My dog, Bailey, Is quite old and she hasn’t been in kennels since COVID so i was concerned she might not settle. It turned out she didn't want to leave. I had daily updates and Bailey was soon having a great time with Monty, the cockerpoo. Will be booking again soon.”

About: I have had dogs all of my adult life (large and small). I'm also a registered veterinary nurse which means I'm experienced in all aspects of dog care. I work part time in a veterinary practice but my husband who is a massive dog lover is retired and is home every day. There is always someone home to be with the dogs. We enjoy walking together. I have a fenced off secure grass garden which your lovely dog will enjoy, I'm willing to crate your dog if required. Your dog will be very much a part of the family.
“Santi had a lovely time . Rebecca sent loads of pictures and videos showing santi playing and interacting with her dog and family . I would definately use rebecca again if calenders work out 😊”

About: I grew up with dogs and have always loved caring for them. I now have a 20-month-old cocker spaniel who I’ve had since he was a puppy. He’s unneutered but very friendly, well-socialised and used to meeting other dogs on walks. I’m experienced with day care, routines, feeding, walks and providing calm, attentive home care “I run my own business from home, so I’m around most of the day and able to give dogs plenty of attention and supervision. My schedule is flexible, with only the occasional day in London. I walk my own dog twice daily and can easily fit additional walks, playtime and care into my routine. I have a large, secure garden and a spacious home where dogs are treated as part of the family. Pets are welcome on the furniture and are always supervised. I’m based near lots of lovely local walks and follow each dog’s usual routine to help them feel settled, safe and at home. I’m best suited to dogs who are dog-friendly and comfortable sharing a home with my cocker spaniel.

“Hayley looked after our two cats while we were away in Sweden for a few days. She visited beforehand to meet them and go through everything, and Fluffy was taken with her from the start. She was brilliant throughout the booking — communicative, sending updates, and checking in on anything she was unsure about. My cats were relaxed and happy when we got home, which says it all. She went well above and beyond what we expected: stripping and washing the bedlinen, cleaning the kitchen floor and moving food away from an ant trail she spotted, and generally leaving the house spotless. Lovely, caring, and genuinely went the extra mile. Couldn't recommend Hayley more highly — we'll definitely be booking her again, if she can put up with Simba again!”

“Georgia has done a fantastic job looking after our two cats whilst we were in Scotland. She made a real effort to interact and take pictures for us and left notes every visit to let us know how they were getting in. Highly recommend Georgia as a pet sitter, we shall be using her again.”

“Thrilled to have found Jane (& Hoogs!) - available on short notice, came to visit our cats in advance, sent so many lovely photos and we were so happy our cats were in good hands throughout. Fantastic, delighted, very happy.”

“Dom was amazing just as the last time we booked him to look after our two cats for a week. One of our cats even came up to Dom for pets this time, which made me so happy! Dom even sent photos and videos of this first encounter. Usually both cats hide under our bed when we are away, as they are people-shy, indoor cats. I can only give Dom top marks again, for being professional, reliable, punctual, friendly, as well as providing timely photos and texts while we were abroad. Thank you Dom, and we hope to book you again soon : )”

“My cats are nervous rescues, so I worry when I leave them. But Laura knew how to handle them straight away and they warmed to her which is very rare. She was fastidious around pre-visits, paperwork and asking the right questions. She also sent photos/updates after each visit. I could relax knowing they were ok & I can’t recommend Laura enough.”

About: I’ve had my cat for the past 14 years and he hasn’t been easy to look after because he was a rescue. I managed to trust me and turn into a fine old man. I naturally attract animals and will be a friendly face for them and make them feel comfortable.

“Richard was a perfect choice for drop-in visits for Rascal, particularly with his experience of re-homing stray and rescue cats, as he knows the vagaries of character and the nervous behaviour that can be shown. I felt very assured as soon as I met Richard, that all would be well whilst I was away. It was really nice to see photos of Rascal and to be reassured that he was coping with the change of person administering his daily routine and that all was well. Everything was neat and tidy and cleared away on my return. I would certainly recommend Richard for all pet duties, and I will be booking again in the future.”

“Its the first time I've used this service, even though I am a sitter. It was great to meet Sally and by the looks of things, Hoogs loved it too. Sally put my mind at ease and kept me informed on a daily basis, sending me photos of my gorgeous boy. I wouldnt hesitate to book Sally again. Thanks Sally, from me and Hoogs ”

“Sue was brilliant with our cats not just feeding them and making sure they were ok but also engaging and playing with them. We had lots of updates and videos as well whilst we were away. Could not recommend more highly. ”
“Thomas looked after my cats for two weeks. He came for an initial visit so he could meet them (they can be timid around strangers) and so I could show him the location of everything he would need. Thomas was respectful of my home, made sure he included photos of their food and water level each day and kept them well fed. He brought post in for me and kept me updated throughout my time away. I had zero concerns and would happily book again!”

“Luna had an amazing time with Kate, and she was so looked after. I can’t thank you enough for looking after Luna Bear on such short notice, 100% recommend Kate and will definitely be booking again in the future. Thank you 😊”

“Amber has been fantastic! She is knowledgeable and so kind. This has been our first experience leaving our dog and she really put our minds at ease. She is also lovely and easy going.”

“Davide and his partner took Bailey out for a nice walk and helped dry him and clean his mucky paws when he was returned to stay with my 85 year old parents. Bailey was very happy afterwards Thank you guys”

“Amber was so friendly and easy to communicate with. She looked after our 2 dogs beautifully whilst we were in Bath for the afternoon. They were very happy when we picked them up. We met Bella, Amber’s dog too and they all seemed to be happy together.”

“First time we have used Rover and really delighted we found Tom & Helen. Great communication, clearly very experienced with dogs and made us very confident about their care. Hope Magnus gets to visit them again soon.”

“This was our first using Rover and Carly made the process very simple. Carly was great at planning time for a settling session and kept us updated with picures and videos throughout. We would not hesitate to recommend Carly and will be using again, if she'll have Rodney :-)”

“As soon as I met Katherine, my mind was put at ease and she was so welcoming and lovely. I felt so comfortable leaving Milo at Katherine’s. She sent me regular texts and photos which means so much to be able to see how Milo was during the day and how he was doing. Katherine also went on a good length walk with Milo. Great location too as near to the downs and the village. Would 100% recommend Katherine and Milo hopes hope to see her again soon 🐶”

About: I grew up with dogs and I've had rescue dogs for most of life, unfortunately my last fur baby died a year ago. I will be getting another dog but not until next year, in the meantime I would love to take care of your babies like they were my own. I retired 2 years ago and I have lots of free time, I'm looking to help other people with their fur babies. I can be flexible and your precious pets would not be left for long periods. “Lauren was great with Marley, she had a lovely time with Lauren and I got regular updates. I booked pretty last minute and then had to change my drop off and pick up times extremely last minute, and Lauren was really flexible. Marley is quite a high-anxiety dog and she rarely naps when not at home, but she obviously felt relaxed with Lauren because she did have a nap and Lauren sent a photo 😊 it’s such a relief to find someone who I can trust to leave Marley with. I will definitely be booking again in future!”

“This was the first time I had booked David and it worked out fantastically ! David was able to help at short notice and was nice and local to me. When we arrived Rosie was keen to get through the door before it was even opened! Once in she was instantly settled , it was like she was at home . David was very friendly and reassuring and Rosie was spoilt rotten. Lovely walks and treats . Apparently Rosie stayed by David’s side all day. I would definitely recommend David and would send Rosie to him again .”

About: My husband and I have our own dog, Monty who is an adorable and energetic 1 year old cockapoo. I have grown up with dogs all my life, from golden retrievers to labs, and many more with family and friends. I have experience with both puppies and older dogs, I have also had dogs with health conditions who required medication, so could distribute medication if required, depending on the type. My husband, Julian, will also help to look after any dogs who stay with us, but I will be the primary caregiver as I'm home all day. I work full time from home and my husband is a handyman so is in and out of the house. We typically walk Monty a couple of times a day if we do shorter walks, or if the weather permits we take him on a long, off lead walk around a large field once a day, with regular potty breaks. We have a decent sized garden and also have a green space out front for any dogs who don't like pooping in a garden (Monty doesn't 😂). As we already have a dog, having another would fit nicely into our existing routine. We have a 3 bedroom house with a secure, fenced garden that is free from anything that could harm a dog. We live nearby to many open green spaces as well and will happily walk your dog on or off lead, according to your preference. I am home during the day and pets will not be left alone without either myself or my husband here.
About: An experienced dog (& horse) owner loving dogs of ALL kinds. Particular interest in training and also in the rehabilitation of rescue dogs. I love caring for dogs in every stage of their life whether it’s a brand new puppy or an OAPooch. Working from home on flexible hours, I will be able to spend lots of time with your beloved pooch in between riding and caring for my horse, my own dog Maggie & my sons. I have a large car that can fit a crate in to take your dog for walks further afield. It also means that I can do home visits to play, let your dog out in the garden or just sit with them and give them some love for a time. I can also offer to take them to the groomers & stay with them or pick them up afterwards.

“Absolutely amazing hosts! We were in town for a rugby match. Out dog is a bit anxious, but settled really well and quickly with Erin and Andrew. They have been great with communication, shared photos and videos throughout the stay. 10 out of 10 hosts!”

“Fay did a brilliant job of looking after our two dogs for the day. They aren't the quickest to settle down with new people but Fay kept us updated and they were both very relaxed when we picked them up. She went out of her way to provide a paddling pool in the hot weather and really knows what she is doing when it comes to dog care. I highly recommend!”

“Domenico was great with my 2 dogs. He arrived on time and gave them lots of fuss before taking them out. He took the walk at my dog’s pace which was great as they’re a little older and enjoy sniffing. I booked for half an hour and he took them out for over 40 minutes. He gave updates and photos and I could tell they were happy in his company. I will be using him again and recommend”

About: Please send me your dogs. I will love them like my own and probably form a healthy obsession with them - please consider that a good thing. I have experience with nervous rescues as well as lead reactive dogs, and have good instincts and intuition. I am confident handling dogs and responsible when out and about. I work a full time Mon-Fri job at The University of Bath. It’s a hybrid role so some of my days are at home (or at your house, looking after your pet), and I can typically choose these days. My Thursdays are committed to an existing dog sit arrangement, on a weekly basis. Lots of love. Lots of attention. I have strong instincts for looking after pets, having grown up in a busy household with many dogs, cats, horses and more !

About: I pride myself on getting to know and understand the dogs that have had tricky starts and therefore making them nervous, scared or defensive. I am led by your pups and I will adapt to whatever they need. There are no silly requests, as a pet owner my whole life they are your world and anything to make them more comfortable with a new sitter I will do. I have puppy-trained 3 dogs and I have cared and supported the generations of rescue dogs we’ve had as a family, including medication, tough vet visits and everything in between. I have a lot of experience understanding nervous rescues, semi-reactive animals and their needs, and have wonderful regular clients who trust me with their dogs because of this. I had two nervous rescue cats for the last 10 years, who were my world, and when I travelled, I would entrust them to an amazing pet sitter. She understood how important they were to me and she patiently earned their trust, which would always put my mind at rest. Now that, for the first time I am pet free I am very keen to return the favour to similar pet owners. I also volunteer at a local rescue farm that is filled with every farm animal you can imagine, as well as many farm cats and dogs. I am currently studying for my Level 3 Farm Animal studies qualification. I work from home, so I am extremely flexible and present for your furry friends. If I'm visiting you, I can flex to suit their routine easily. If your dogs are staying with me, I have a good-sized back garden for toilet breaks and live on the edge of the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, with walks from the front door if your dog is a little nervous travelling, which are filled with all the smells your dogs would want! Your pets would be able to use my home like their own, and equally I would fit into your home as seamlessly as possible to ensure your pet(s) feel comfortable. You are welcome to bring anything that would make them feel more at home and I have plenty of space so they can have their own room, or a safe space within the living room. I have a safe, dog-proof garden which is accessible at all times when it's warm enough! I have some dog neighbours and pups who stay with me like to meet them through the fence!
“Amber is really lovely and did an amazing job looking after Kona and sent lots of updates and photos. Kona had the best time playing with Bella. I would definitely recommend Amber!!”

“Such a lovely, friendly couple who really looked after our big ball of energy. Provided lots of updates and gorgeous photos and we felt really happy all the time Wispa was away. Would definitely use again and highly recommend.”

About: I’m an animal lover with years of experience looking after family and friends pets. I treat your furry family just like my own and keep you updated every step of the way. I’m not working at the moment, which means I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time to care for your pets. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure they get plenty of attention, regularly feeding and walks. I have a fully fenced garden that is secure to let your pets roam.
About: I’ve been the proud owner of Bella, a Sprollie (Springer Spaniel x Border Collie), for four years 🐾 Owning a high-energy breed has taught me how to provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep dogs happy and balanced 🧠⚡ During walks, I use consistent commands to encourage good leash manners and calm behaviour. I specialise in on-leash walks and long-lead walks in parks, giving dogs the freedom to explore safely 🦮🌳 Neighbours, friends and family have trusted me with their pets, and I treat every dog with the same care and attention I give Bella ❤️ For boarding, please bring your dog’s own food as every dog is different — some have specific dietary needs due to skin or health conditions and I want to make sure they’re comfortable 🍽️ If you have a favourite blanket or crate you’d like them to use, feel free to bring that along too 🛏️ For walking, just let me know whether you prefer on-leash or off-leash, and give me an idea of their recall so I can keep them safe 🐕 Before any booking, I always arrange a meet and greet so your dog is familiar with me before I come to pick them up — we can sort this out easily during the booking process 🤝😊 I’m currently available on weekends for drop-in visits, boarding, walking and dog sitting 🐾 Your dog will have great company with my Sprollie Bella, who loves making new friends! 🐕 Weekend availability means I can give your pup plenty of time, attention and fun without rushing 😊 I have a two-bedroom house with a fully fenced garden, so your dog can roam and play safely 🏡🌿 We’re just 5 minutes from large green areas around Malmesbury, perfect for both on-leash and off-leash walks 🦮🌳 We also live close to rivers, so just let me know if you’d prefer your dog to stay dry or if they’re happy to get a little wet! 💧 For boarding, please bring your dog’s crate or bed if you have one so they feel right at home 🛏️ We have our own dog bowls but you’re more than welcome to bring your dog’s own if they prefer — whatever keeps them comfortable! 🍽️ Your dog’s safety and happiness is always the priority, and Bella will be on hand to help them settle in 🐾❤️
“Our lovely Springer Jaz enjoyed a week with Jenny and Harry while we were on holiday. She was very well looked after and Jenny updated us with photos of her making herself at home in Harry’s bed! Also out and about on their walks and meeting up the “biscuit lady”! We were really happy with the service Jenny provided and would not hesitate to recommend her for future stays.”

“Francesca came to the rescue when someone cancelled last minute, for which we are very grateful! We were sent videos which was lovely and Trevor was clearly having lots of fun. Would definitely book again.”

“Amber and Tyler were great. They looked after Wilson for two nights and collected him from our wedding venue after he made a much-loved cameo. They were very friendly. I would definitely recommend them for future Rover users.”

“This was Tansy’s second overnight stay and she was excited to see Mark on arrival. She seemed very chilled and relaxed which was great to know as she can be a little anxious. We have another stay booked soon.”

About: I had a cat when I was little. I had a cockapoo 15 to 26 and miss him loads. Just resigned from my job so I’m free most of the time for same day bookings but better to have some notice in advance. Absolutely love pets and can help train if needed :) Love getting outside for walks but also a big fan of lounging on the sofa for a cuddle! Have Henrietta Park right by me and will go for adventures! Have super comfy sofas, not a super busy flat so it’s a nice calm environment. I love to get more than 15k steps in a day so it’s always best to have a companion! I miss having my dog around so it’s nice to have a 4 legged friend.
