I'm currently working part-time so I'm around most of the week for pet playtime and care. I live in a top floor flat with no garden so won't be able to host, but am readily available for lots of drop-ins and walks, and house sitting if required.

During a drop-in, walk or stay, pets can expect lots of attention and warm interaction. One of my favourite things is winning a furry friend over with treats and learning what their favourite toys are.

A typical day
In the first couple of sessions I'll help build trust with treats and toys. Letting the pets learn that I'm a safe, fun space is very important! After that, there will be LOTS of playing with their favourite toys and enrichment activities to keep them mentally engaged.

Pet care experience
I've grown up with multiple family pets including dogs, hamsters, fish and guinea pigs and now own a gorgeous kitten. I'm very used to reactive/nervous dogs (I'm close with two) and have had lots of experience with elderly dogs, puppy training, multiple cat homes and kittens. I'm the go-to pet sitter for several people and would love to help out some more fur-riends!

Gemma has been super responsive to all messages and agreed to drop in on my dog with only one day’s notice which has really helped me out! She kept me updated and provided lots of photos which were lovely to see. Would definitely recommend!
Gemma was a really great dog sitter. Gemma’s communication was excellent before the visit and she was clearly experienced at looking after dogs. Gemma kept my young puppy well occupied during the visit and had a very calming presence - my puppy was very happy to be with her. I would definitely recommend!
