Hi, I'm Jess! I've been boarding and pet sitting through Rover since 2021 and have a lifetime of experience caring for animals. I grew up with energetic Collies and have a senior Labradoodle back home, so I'm comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes and personalities. I share my home with my two friendly cats, Lana and Mali, who are well socialised and used to dogs. My home is best suited to dogs that are comfortable around cats, and I'm happy to arrange a Meet & Greet to make sure everyone gets along. I work from home most of the week, so your dog will get plenty of company, attention and supervision. I also have experience caring for dogs with complex medical needs, including administering daily medication and managing special feeding routines. Whether your dog enjoys a relaxed walk or a more energetic adventure around Bath, I'll tailor their day to suit their needs. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, either through Rover or WhatsApp-whichever you prefer. I'd love to meet you and your dog!

Jessica was absolutely fantastic! This was my first time using both the app and a dog sitter for my puppy, Stella, and she made the whole experience completely stress-free. She sent regular updates and lovely photos throughout the day, so I always knew Stella was happy and well looked after. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Jessica again and will definitely be using her on a regular basis. Highly recommend!

Jess looked after my 13 year old dog Liesel overnight. Liesel loved her straight away, and Jess was really attentive to her usual routine and considerate around things like not taking her on walks during the heat of the day (we're having a heatwave). She also checked things like how often I wanted updates etc, so I felt really reassured that Liesel was in good hands. :)
Use Jessica every time we need someone to look after our pooch and she is always amazing with him! Treats him like her own and is always great with the updates to put our minds at ease. We won't use anyone else!

My Availability & Daily Routine: I work full-time with incredible flexibility. Because I work remotely four days a week, your pet will enjoy constant companionship, supervision, and care throughout the day. Office Days: I am only required in the office one day a week. If my listed calendar availability does not perfectly match your dates, please send me a message! I can frequently shift my office day to accommodate your booking. A Day Working from Home: When your dog is with me during the workday, they become part of the family. They will receive regular garden breaks, plenty of cuddles right next to my desk, and a long, energetic walk during my lunchtime break. Cat Drop-Ins & Walks: Because my hours are flexible, I can easily time my drop-in visits or dog walks around your pet's specific, preferred morning, midday, or evening routines.

Safety, Trust & Peace of Mind: Your pet’s safety and emotional well-being are my absolute priorities. Because I have been sitting since 2023, I treat every guest pet with the same hyper-vigilance and care that I give to my own animals. Secure Home Environment: I live in a secure flat, meaning there is zero risk of a sneaky escape. The indoor environment is fully pet-proofed, quiet, and kept clean and organised. Controlled Multi-Pet Safety: Because I have two resident cats, I use a strict, slow-introduction protocol for all visiting dogs. I am fully prepared to use secure indoor zoning (such as separate rooms or baby gates) to ensure everyone has a safe space to relax. Outdoor & On-Lead Security: When out walking through Bath's open spaces, your dog will stay securely on-leash at all times unless you explicitly instruct otherwise. I strictly follow your precise training commands, behavioural directions, and road-safety preferences. Emergency Preparedness: I am highly experienced in managing complex canine medical conditions and administering multiple daily medications. I keep the details of local 24/7 emergency vets on hand at all times, and you will receive frequent, transparent photo updates throughout their stay.

A Typical Day for Your Pet: Every day is tailored around your pet's personal routine, ensuring they feel completely safe, loved, and right at home. Morning Outings & Exercise: We start the day with breakfast and a fresh toilet break, followed by an exciting walk. I love exploring the beautiful open green spaces around Bath. If your dog enjoys making new furry friends, we can easily set up fun, controlled joint walks with my friends and their friendly dogs. Afternoon Play & Engagement: For playful energetic dogs or puppies, I am always ready to engage them with mental stimulation and games. Whether it is a high-energy game of fetch, catch, or interactive toy play, I make sure they burn off their midday energy. Cosy Downtime & Cuddles: Balance is key! After our outdoor adventures, we enjoy plenty of quiet downtime. Your pup will join me by my desk while I work from home, receiving constant attention, belly rubs, and plenty of sofa cuddles. Evening Routine: We wrap up the day with a peaceful evening walk, dinner at their exact usual feeding time, and a relaxing night winding down together in a calm, secure environment.

I welcome dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds! Medications & Complex Health Needs: If your pet requires strict medical care, you can have total peace of mind. My family dog has severe allergies and long-term health conditions requiring four different daily medications. I am completely comfortable with complex pill schedules, strict administration timings, and using gentle coaxing techniques for stubborn pets. Special Diets & Allergies: Whether your pet is on a raw diet, strict prescription food, or has severe ingredient allergies, I am used to managing precise feeding routines and keeping allergen risks entirely separate from my own pets. Behaviours & Quirks: Please let me know about their personality! Whether they have separation anxiety, are afraid of loud noises, or have specific lead habits, knowing these details helps me keep them calm and happy.
