Cosy day and overnight pad in Newport
I've lived with dogs since I was small and have lots of experience both as an owner and caring for other peoples dogs of all shapes and sizes. I work from home 4 days a week and so am around all day. Happy for early drop off and to do an evening walk before collection. I offer a warm welcome to dog and people friendly dogs in my own home and will only take one dog at a time so they will have all of my attention and find it easier to settle without needing to compete with a pack. My place is 2 minutes walk from a park, it is a terraced house with a secure back garden - I will follow the ground rules set in your own home (dogs on or off the sofa is fine with me!) I have a car with secure travel space for dogs and love to go on adventures to the hills, the beach, the woods. I will keep you up to date with your pets activities through the day. I am also an experienced house sitter and am very happy to provide care for your animal family in their own home when you are away. As well as dogs, I have experience of caring for cats, small animals (mice, rabbits, guinea pigs etc!) fish, reptiles, horses, chickens and ducks, sheep and goats. I love all animals and will treat yours with the love and care they deserve, making sure that they are happy whilst you are away :)

This is the 3rd time Fritha has looked after Mabel for us. Sends lovely updates and we can tell our girl is well looked after. Always taken on long walks and looks after her needs. Really greatful we found Fritha thanks again
Fritha cared for our 16 month cavapoo for 11 days for our holiday and it was the first time we had left her with anyone, so was really anxious. She had an amazing time! Very well cared for and lots of photos and updates. You could tell Fritha really cares about your pet. I would highly recommend Fritha and will happily leave our girl in her care again in the future.
Absolutely amazing! Fritha had our senior Bichon Frise for 2 nights, he usually doesn't like being without someone he knows due to his sight failing but he was right at home with Fritha, she sent photos of him daily, took him on walks and made sure he had a brilliant time, highly reccomended!

Schedule
I work from home four days a week and can provide a walk for your dog up to three times a day. I live very close to the park and the woods :) I can provide house sitting for weekends or long weekends (Friday to Monday) with longer times possible with notice. Local dog walking available morning, lunch and early evening during the week and flexible times at the weekends

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced garden and access available throughout the day, dogs will be treated like a member of the family. I can do on or off lead walks and safety is first priority.
A typical day
Park 2 minutes walk away for games and a sniff around, long woodland walks for higher energy dogs or perhaps a gentle stroll by the canal. Garden and toys available through the day of course a comfy sofa or bed to relax on.
