Friendly and capable carer of good doggos
Hi, I’m Dom! Dogs have always been a big part of my life, having grown up with border collies and jack russells as part of our family, I got used to looking after and training different breeds from a young age. Whilst travelling in Europe, Me and my girlfriend, Hannah, volunteered at a foster home for street dogs from Montenegro, and ended up adopting one of the dogs, Maia, who was as good as gold - she features in many of our photos on here, though we very sadly lost her after 4 wonderful years together. After a couple of years we felt ready to adopt another dog and picked Sally from her online profile. She’s very cute and loving, though has come with plenty challenges and has required a lot more work and training than Maia ever did. She is mostly very good with other dogs and loves to chase and play, but does get a bit scared of larger and overly enthusiastic dogs, so we can only take dogs on the small to medium size that will be fine to give her a bit of space when she’s not up for playing.

Dominic looked after our 9 month old Labrador retriever for 3 days and nights in his home while we were away. Our puppy had an amazing time and we were kept updated every day with comments and photos. Will definitely book again!
We left our 10 month old pup for the first time with a sitter! Dominic kept us updated with photos and I felt very comfortable and happy my pup was well looked after. Thank you!!

Schedule
I mostly work from home, and have a very flexible working schedule, which means I can meet up or go for walks whenever you or your dogs require. I live with my girlfriend who also loves dogs and will also be around and assist in caring for dogs on evenings and weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
We are located on the edge of Fishponds, and are lucky to have Oldbury Court Estate at the end of our road - with fields, woodlands, and a riverside path for very nice, long dog walks. Our house also has a fenced garden, which is big enough for dogs to chase each other around in. We discovered Rover when we needed a sitter for our dog, so know it’s a bit nerve wracking leaving them for the first time, but I’ll happily meet up before, show you where they will stay, or speak on the phone to address any concerns :)

A typical day
During the week, I usually walk around our local area/Oldbury court first thing in the morning, and in again in the evening - also very happy to add lunchtime walks when looking after more energetic dogs. At the weekends we love to go further afield and explore the countryside surrounding Bristol.
