I’m an animal person through and through, I have volunteered for a variety of animal charities. I also have a Level 2 Veterinary Nursing Diploma so I have some theoretical and practical animal knowledge. My love for animals came from my family cat Daisy who we rescued when I was little, I now have a Romanian rescue dog called Holly who means the world to me as well as my flock of rescued hens who own the garden :/ I’m confident administering medication, and will tailor my care to whatever your animal needs:)

I plan on staying at the pet owners home to maintain the routine for the animal. I will walk and feed as recommend by the owner. I have no need to leave them throughout the day, though I can if it would be helpful for the animal. They will have my full attention and love!

I am so happy that we found Finlay at quite short notice to look after our two Bichons in our own home for a week. Our Bichons are not the easiest as they have some anxiety issues and can be temperamental so need a lot of patience and love. We have never used a dog sitter before so we were a bit anxious however, we didn't need to be. Finlay was great with them right from the first meet and greet. He arrived on time and asked all the appropriate questions. He was gentle and caring towards our dogs and they took to him straight away. Finlay arrived on time for our home stay and seemed fully prepared with his own belongings. I did not have any worries at all about leaving him with our fur babies or our home. His communication was excellent, he sent us daily updates and pictures as requested and our dogs seemed very relaxed and happy in his care. We arrived home after a week to two very happy dogs and a clean home 😁 We will continue to use Finlay for future dog/house sits and highly recommend him 👍🏻
Finlay has recently started looking after our cocker spaniel, he very kindly took the time to meet with us & meet our dog prior to the first dog-sitting, which we hugely appreciated. In addition he very kindly gave us great updates and photographs during the session. It was so lovely to know our dog was so well looked after, especially as our dog is very nervous - so we are incredibly grateful to Finlay’s care and patience with him.
Would highly recommend Finlay for dog walking/sitting! He is reliable and flexible each week when walking my dog. And considerate and trustworthy in my home when I’m away. It’s an added bonus that my dog absolutely adores him too 🧡
Finlay has been absolutely great with our bonkers dog. After numerous dog walkers, Finlay has been a true breath of fresh air, providing brilliant walks, techniques and reliability. I highly recommend this young man for a great hassle service and guaranteed even happier dog!!! .
Hi Ive know Finlay via his parents for over 20 years . I have always found him very honest and very pleasant . He is very caring of all animals and takes there well fair very seriously .
