“Andre has been absolutely amazing and so accommodating. Doug clearly had a fantastic time on his holiday and enjoyed playing with the other guests. Can't thank Andre enough who helped us out having been let down by someone else!”

“Fraser and his wife were absolutely lovely and Magnus liked them from the first meeting. We felt confident we were leaving our beloved boy in good hands. We got multiple photo updates and Magnus seemed to be having a great time. When we picked him up we heard even more good stories about their time together. You couldn't find a nicer couple to entrust your dog or cat to.”

“Lee looked after our 3 year old cavapoo for two weeks in his home whilst we were away. Lee provides a really professional service. With his calm, gentle manner and experience around dogs he took great care of our sensitive pup who can be anxious at times around some people and dogs. Our cavapoo absolutely loved Lee’s garden which provides a perfect secure environment for dogs to explore and play, and he really enjoyed the company of Lee’s gorgeous dog George, whose chilled disposition was perfect company for Luigi. Luigi certainly grew in confidence during his holiday at Lee’s and was spoilt with lovely long daily walks. We had regular updates and photos which were hugely appreciated. We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect home from home for our dog. We highly recommend Lee’s services. Thank you so much Lee for taking such great care of our dog.”

“Frances was an amazing sitter for Teddy. From the get go I knew he would have an amazing time, they had a great secure garden, knew walks to take Teddy and he was very happy there. I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Robert and his family provided a home from home for Archie, helping him to settle in, and providing company through out the days of his stay, giving him regular walks and exercise and putting up with his quirks. We will be happy for Archie to holiday in their family home again.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 13 were I worked in a kennels for 4 years, I have a dog of my own and up until recently a cat as well. I absolutely adore animals and love taking care of them When looking after you furbabies, I will follow their schedule and routine to reduce stress and anxiety, i appreciate being with someone new can sometimes can even be nerve racking for us humans! I do come armed with pockets of treats and lots of fuss and cuddles! I work part time from home, and fit my dogs needs round my working schedule, our dog gets walked once a day mainly after I finished work in the afternoon. At the weekends we try and fit in a walk in a new spot to really run out any energy, if we are unable to make a long walk during the week we often rent out a dog walking field local to us I live in a small home with a secure garden and baby gates for extra security, our dog does have free rein of the house, he is a big softy and loves anything and everything! Any dog that would stay at our house would be separated at night from our dog to ensure maximum safety for everyone.
“Trevor has been looked after extremely well and Edita spent a lot of time with him. She regularly sent me photos and videos of him to let us know how he was getting on. Been on 3 walks today. He has come home a very happy boy. Thank you Edita.”

“Fiona was wonderful with my little elderly dachshund He is quite anxious but Fiona took good care of him with plenty of cuddles She was very accommodating to any special requests and requirements for him I felt very comfortable leaving him in Fiona’s care I would not hesitate to have Fiona look after him again”

“Kate looked after Olive and Martin for a week and was amazing from start to finish! We had a meetup before the booking to have a chat and see if it would be a good fit for them to stay and I instantly felt it was the right home for them whilst I was away. Kate kept in regular contact and I had lovely photos showing my doggies looking very happy. They were treated like part of the family with top notch care. Would not hesitate to recommend and will be booking again for sure myself...thankyou so much Kate!”

“Rachel did an amazing job looking after Bonnie. She kept in touch with regular updates and photos. Bonnie was well looked after, with lots of play and cuddles, and fun company from Rachel’s dog. We’ll definitely use Rachel again!”

“We left our cavapoo Maxie for his first over night stay with Joshua and Julie this weekend, and we couldn't be happier we picked them! It was maxies first ever night away from us that wasnt with family, we received lovely pup-dates that helped put us at ease & he looked like he had a wonderful time! Hes already booked back in - thankyou so much!”

“Benny had a fantastic little holiday. Thank you for looking after him so well. He came home feeling very happy and rested. Nick did everything he could to make Benny welcome and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.”

“Very happy with Ashley, who was very flexible about arrangements, and responded quickly to messages. Marley had a lovely time with her and came home calm and chilled. Will definitely use her again.”

“I cannot thank Lily enough for not only taking amazing care of Harlow but also doing it on such short notice! I was kept updated throughout Harlows stay and she seemed so happy to be with Lily and her amazing family :) I should be recommending Lily to anyone that will listen but then I’m afraid she will be too busy to be Harlows step mum haha Lily your amazing thank you so much for everything you did I cannot express how appreciative I am for everything you did for my pup”

“Macy took such good care of our little chap I think he misses her. The whole family were welcoming and some enjoyed walks and playtime too. This is obviously a dog loving household. Communication was great and we had lots of pictures and videos clearly showing a very smiley and happy dog. If there was anything that Macy was unsure of she contacted us directly which we appreciated. We would not hesitate to ask Macy to care for our very energetic little terrier again as we know he had an amazing time. Thank you Macy for looking after him as if he were your own.”

“Addie was lovely and I would highly recommend her. Sadly my 10 month old Springer was quite a handful and Very hyperactive and certainly not on his best behaviour. Also Addie did not have the space that Otis is used to and I feel this exacerbated his stress levels and caused him to have accidents which does not happen at home. Addie has already let me know she would not look after Otis again and I totally understand this. I would still highly recommend Addie as her communication and experience were so good and I know she worked hard on making Otis enjoy his stay. Finally once again I would highly recommend Addie but not for my Springer. Back to training class for us I think. Thank you Addie for all you did, you were amazing xx”

I work from home and I'm self employed which means I'm free to go for walkies whenever it's needed and I'm always with your pet to keep them company. I have a home educated daughter who is a real animal lover and has grown up pet sitting with me since she was a few months old. “So pleased with the service provided from Cherie today! The app is brilliant, I would say that after doing a long shift at work and leaving my house cat alone for that long always leaves me feeling uneasy but being new to the area, I couldn't ask anyone to just drop in. Trilby has been introduced to a new friend whilst I'm at work and its gone amazingly. The photo updates were very lovely and gave me piece of mind at work! Definitely worth doing again and has given me confidence to think re. Future plans about possibly having a house sitting booking 😊 thank you. She definitely got the attention that I would have expected. I have heard of some reviews where poeple go in and read a book whilst being paid....I was looking for more interaction with my house cat so I come home on a Monday evening with a less energetic kitty and that's what I had. 💕🤗 x”

“Tallulah was a big hit with my cat. It was so lovely to get pictures of them having a cuddle. He's usually a bit reserved so she has won his heart! Tallulah was very responsive to messages and was very helpful. Thank you!”

“Rachel was a godsend, booked last minute, she stepped up to the mark right away by coming to visit and picking up keys from my friend. She went the extra mile going out to find our precious kitty when he decided to go out on an adventure. Much appreciated. Will book again.”

About: Thank you for considering me to look after your kitty! I live in Ilchester with my husband and two cats, Sia and Felix. I know how daunting it is to find someone trustworthy while we are away so I wanted to offer help to others in my area. I work from home so I can be flexible and offer overnight stays where needed. Professionally I'm a part-time marketing manager for a charity in Somerset and an artist, trying to grow my little side business (cat art :) see link on my Instagram page! I've been a cat mum for 8 years, I have two adorable ragdolls Sia and Felix. During this time I've become quite knowledgeable about their needs, diet, behaviour, and what to watch out for as a cat owner. My cats are indoor only so I know how important play time and enrichment is. I love interacting with cats of our neighbours whenever one deems me worthy of course and I love giving cuddles. I know however that some kitties take time to accept new humans, so I'll always tailor the interaction to your furbaby's needs. Happy to give medication/vitamins that needs to be added to their food, however I'm not very experienced with pills - ours hate taking pills so always ask for palatable options. Please let me know if you need a trusty pet sitter, I'd be happy to help.

About: What can I say about cats? Cats have been part of my life and the centre of our family life since childhood. I have experience with rescue cats, that need extra patience and care to settle. Having rescued farm cats and those from animal sanctuaries. In the past I when living in Dubai I fostered street cats with a local charity, whilst they found their forever home. I have availability to take care of your cats overnight at your home, pop in feeds-whatever your needs. Please discuss any extra special needs: allergies, medication or sickness and any human anxieties, I’ll be happy to work through any issues.

“Our cat, fish and home were well looked-after by Tess for three weeks. When we returned home, it was evident that while our cat was very happy to see us, and came to us for attention, she also included Tess in her rounds - making it evident that she (the cat) saw Tess as a positive part of her family. While we were away Tess stayed in touch. She asked early on if we preferred to have pictures, explaining that some people do and some don't. We do and she sent several lovely photos over the period, each showing our cat behaving just like herself, which helped me to know that she was happy. We would happily welcome Tess back to our home again.”

About: I have always had cats and am happy to house sit, drop in, and provide a caring reliable service whilst you are away. If house sits required you and your cat must be ok with my co sitter Dotty..who is used to cats.

About: Padfoot is my Maine Coon kitty! I have been devoted to him as a loving cat mother for 3 years now which means I am currently in his primal teenage years. I’ve watched him grow from a misbehaving kitten into a stoic, majestic young cat. Cats aren’t as easy to train but he is recall trained and will vocalise his whereabouts whenever I look for him. Padfoot knows he is loved and cared for and in return I receive cuddles, delightful purring and sometimes the odd present from the great outdoors. Currently training him to be less vocal towards my groomer hah! Apart from my own cat, I have another smaller female cat in a different household. She is also neutered and trained to come home when called. My younger siblings adore her!

“ Edita responded very quickly for my request to help my disabled friend put his cat, Hope, into her carrier before her vet visit! Edita arrived on time and her natural affinity with animals put Hope at ease and she very quickly coaxed her out of her hiding place to lift her into the carrier! My friend would like to re-book Edita for future help!”

About: I’ve worked in animal rescue so I’m very used to a wide variety of dogs, breed and size. Also worked with a variety of needs also. I have my own dogs. One since a pup who was challenging and then became reactive. She is doing amazing now! And I have a foreign rescue who posed many opposite challenges so I’m able to adapt to the dogs needs. I have ten years experience in the nhs but I’m looking at going into a career with dogs now. It’s my main passion. I’ve been told I’m very calm and patient with dogs which draws many dogs to me. I have attended all sorts of workshops and classes with my own dogs including: puppy/adolescent classes, trick training, parkour, scentwork, mantrailing, barnhunt, Canicross, paddle boarding, agility and hoopers to name a few. I try and include things I think your dog may enjoy on our walks. I have completed many online courses from canine first aid, canine body language and behaviour and dog walking. I have also spent a lot of time observing behaviourists, trainers, walkers, vets, vet nurses, hydrotherapists and physios to gain as much knowledge and experience as I can. I’m currently doing odd bits of work with dogs including training/behaviour work with supervision and hydrotherapy/physio assistant work. So my diary is currently very flexible. I know lots of local walks and I’m very used to finding quieter walks if that’s what a dog needs. I also know good busier areas for bits of dog training depending on the dogs requirements. I also live on private land with some secure fields so that is an option also.
About: I grew up caring for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, sheep, pigs, llamas and ponies and have always befriended animals. I currently have a 3 year old Lab and an absolutely mad 1 year old Sprocker Spaniel and we're usually out exploring beaches, woods, and footpaths. I have experience with high energy dogs, puppies and senior dogs. I have recently left my graduate job to reassess my career path so have plenty of time for long dog walks and lots of cuddles! I am very respectful of your rules, routines and pet security and I will ensure your pet is cared for to the best standard possible.
About: I’ve been surrounded by pets including dogs, horses and cats my whole life. I live on a farm surrounded by 4 dogs and 4 horses and am frequently responsible for their care. I am comfortable caring for any kind of pet, including very young puppies. One of my dogs has had litters, and I am frequently called upon by owners of the litters to pet sit while they are on holidays. I thoroughly enjoy the outdoors and am responsible for the majority of dog walking at home. I’m currently on summer holidays from my medical degree so I have plenty of free time all days of the week for pet care. I work every now and again for a weddings company but usually just once a week so my availability is very flexible. This also allows me to be flexible on very short notice. I have lots of experience in pet care as a foundation and will tailor this to your individual pets needs. I enjoy pets company but also am organised in a practical sense to ensure walking, feeding and cleanliness are all optimised for your pet.

“I cannot thank you enough Harry for looking after Bella at such short notice. She clearly had a lovely time in your company and seemed far more chilled out with you than with us in our holiday cottage. We will be visiting Somerset again soon, so i hope you will be available again for Bella day care.”

About: I grew up with animals of all sorts in Kenya, and have had various pets throughout my life: dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, tortoises, fish, and a giant snail. My last dog (boxer) was a family pet, which I trained from a puppy, and cared for until she grew old. My cats came to me as kittens and lived long happy lives with me. I've looked after friends' and neighbours' dogs, walking, playing with them, and having them overnight or for several days at a time. I have a large garden in rural Somerset - perfectly suited for dogs. I love all animals! I am a freelance artist, and work mainly from home. I can offer many hours of company in the daytime, and am always at home overnight. I wake early so the morning feed and walk is easily done. I have a large spacious fenced garden, in a rural village in Somerset. I keep pets downstairs to roam freely in the sitting room and kitchen. I can crate your pet if needed, when I go out.
“Teresa was very professional & friendly in her approach. She checked what Cai liked / didn't like when we met the week before our booking at the intro meeting. Her own dog was friendly and they both got on well together. Cai was happy & tired when we collected him having been well exercised and had a good time in her care. Recommended.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, starting from when I was around 10 years old. Friends, neighbours and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe and look after their dogs while they’re away or busy. I work from home full-time running my own business, which means I’m very flexible and around throughout the day. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I’m able to plan my schedule around walks, feeding times, play and check-ins. I provide calm, attentive care in a safe and secure environment. Because I work from home, dogs are supervised throughout the day and get plenty of interaction rather than being left alone.

About: I’ve lived with cats my whole life, from strays to kittens, at one point we had seven ! I also have experience house sitting, baby sitting and dog sitting. I’m currently back from travelling and searching for a more permanent job so I can completely work around any schedule needed. I’m happy to cover hours during the day, walks, or overnight stays ! I only offer services currently out of my own home as we have a cat and a tortoise that would be particularly against a canine visitor ! I aim to create a secure and trusted environment so you can travel/work/holiday stress free without worrying about the pets at home :)
“Rachel has been great - we had a meet and greet, and she has taken my beagle on 2 walks so far whilst I've been at work and always maintains good communication. He is always a tired and happy pup when I come home! Would recommend :)”

About: Hello and thank you for considering me to look after your furbaby. I've been an animal lover all my life and I've been a mum to four dogs (a chihuahua, a fox terrier mix, a Scottish terrier and an American Pitbull), 2 ragdoll cats, one rabbit, one pet rat, several parrots and budgies, two turtles and 3 goldfish. I now live in Ilchester with my husband and two cats. I'm really interested in pet nutrition, wellbeing and enrichment and I love spending time with furry, feathered or scaly friends. I have experience with shy/nervous dogs as two of our family dogs were quite timid around strangers. I'm fit and active so walks are never a problem and I enjoy providing some indoor play / training exercises too for curious doggies. I'm just as happy cuddling on the couch if you have a more laid back or senior pup. I know how daunting it can be to find someone to look after my pets when we go away so I decided to offer my services to people in my area. I'm lucky to be working from home so I won't have to leave your pet for long periods of time during the day. If you need someone to look after your dog or cat while you take a much deserved holiday, I'd be happy to help. I work from home as a part time marketing manager, which makes pet sitting possible. My schedule is also very flexible and I can work from anywhere. I know how worrying it can be when you're leaving your furbaby with someone else. During my stay I'll be sure to follow your pet's routine and any special instructions I'm given. I'm also happy to provide regular updates and photos. Your pet's wellbeing is my most important priority and I'll treat them with as much love and care as I would my own.

“Emma looked after our two dogs while we were away, taking them out for their daily walks or just playing with them due to the heat. This was the first time anyone outside of our family had walked them, and it was clear from the updates and photos that they had an amazing time in Emma’s care. We were kept informed every day with messages and pictures, which gave us complete peace of mind. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Emma again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, caring, and professional pet care. Thank you, Emma!”

I live on the edge of the countryside so only 5 minutes walk before we reach open fields, hills and streams for playtime. I have been pet sitting for many years and always take impeccable care of their homes and pets.

About: I have valuable experience in providing day care and maintaining daily routines when taking care of a variety of breeds, including both dogs and cats. I have developed a strong understanding of animal behaviour, handling, and basic pet care through hands-on experience with my own dog and cat. I am extremely friendly and compassionate and love all animals which can be shown through my genuine and kind nature. I am currently working which part-time allows me to dedicate additional time to pet care, offering flexible availability for dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting services. I also drive, enabling me to travel easily to clients’ homes. My work schedule changes every week and I am able to change shifts to suit clients schedules when needed. I would care for pets in their own home by following their established routine, ensuring they are fed, exercised, comfortable, and well supervised. I would provide companionship, keep the home secure and tidy, and send regular updates to give owners peace of mind. I am extremely friendly with all animals and have a big heart which allows me to be compassionate and approachable for all furry friends!
“Amber had a lovely walk with Tess.they went Dartington and Tess was able to let A Amber off the lead and Amber returned well when the whistle was blown.I would certainly book Tess again”

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve had the joy of caring for a variety of pets—dogs, cats, puppies, elderly dogs, hamsters, and even fish! I understand that each pet has its own unique personality, needs, and quirks, and I pride myself on being attentive, patient, and adaptable. Whether it’s taking an energetic pup on long walks, cuddling with a senior dog, or making sure a curious kitten stays out of trouble, I approach every pet with love and care. You can trust me to treat your furry (or scaly!) family members as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Although I don’t have formal qualifications in dog training, I have extensive hands-on experience with animals, particularly in training both cats and dogs with consistent discipline. This has given me a deep understanding of their behaviors and training needs. I currently work a part time job in retail but I am recently working more hours to earn some extra cash. I work 40 hours a week but I am in a position to decrease this if pet sitting really takes off! Most days I will finish my work day at 6pm so I am available in the evenings after 6pm. Thursdays and Sundays are my guaranteed days off so overnight stays are absolutely doable on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Walkies and at home sitting is absolutely doable for me after a work day. I have a 2 bedroom house with a small/medium fenced garden. We have a cat and a dog in our home and our dog is 17 years old so she is being rather intensely cared for at the moment due to recently having an operation on her eye. My cat is indoor/outdoor but very much enjoys his own space and company, loves to roam in the greenery outside our house. Out the front of my house is a large field which gets used by myself and neighbours to let the furries have a run around. Both pets are fed at the same time each day and are fed together, they enjoy eating their dinners together. Padfoot (my cat) is always waiting at the door by 5pm as he knows it’s dinner time!
“Lauren was great. While we were at a wedding in a new area, she walked our dog and also popped back later to let him out for the loo again. She also popped by the evening before briefly to meet him first. She was very friendly and our dog seemed to enjoy her company and playing with her. Recommend.”

About: Council licensed and fully insured. (Details available on request) Hi. I live in a safe, secure house in the village of Pedwell, with my partner and Golden Retriever, George. George is a friendly, loving dog who loves playing with other dogs, we have a fenced secure garden for them to play in, and we’re surrounded by Somerset countryside and country walks, so you can have the piece of mind that your best friend will be safe while having a great time when you’re not around. I’m flexible, reliable and most importantly I love dogs, having owned dogs all my adult life. Any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me and I’ll be more than happy to answer or send photos of our place. I work flexible hours from home so always around to care for the pups and give them plenty of walkies and play throughout the day I am council licensed, so we’ve had our property and procedures thoroughly examined and verified by the council. Our property is fully fenced, safe and secure

About: I have owned cats and horses my whole life and have dog sit on Rover for around 2 years. I have received 5* reviews from all owners. I have done walking, day care and boarding for long durations and have loved providing a safe and happy environment for every dog who has stayed. Having owned cats and horses my whole life I have a good attention to detail and make sure to cater to every pets specific needs. I am a patient and kind handler and a true animal lover. My two horses are pictured in the last slide. I am currently in my final year of studying an equine degree at Hartpury University, specialising in horse behaviour and welfare. I come home to Cheddar most weekends, when I am free to look after your pets. My weekday availability varies so please message if you have any out of hours requests and I will do my best to accommodate. I’m fortunate enough to live on a quiet private lane with a secure and gated patio and a small grass garden. We are tucked away from main roads and don’t get any through traffic. When staying overnight in my house I have the option to section off parts of my house with a baby gate or leave open the whole of downstairs which is plenty enough space for a larger dog. My house is very quiet and peaceful and so if your dog prefers a quieter environment they will be more than happy. I also have heaps of cozy blankets but please feel free to bring as many of your own as you like.

“Magnus had a fantastic time staying with Annalie - we got frequent photo updates showing a very happy Staffy snuggled on the couch, playing, basking in the garden, and going on walks. Magnus would definitely stay with them again!”

“We were so pleased to find Zak, and him and Theo really seemed to get on right from the initial meeting. The consistent photos and messages we received from Zak while we were away really put us at ease, knowing that Theo was enjoying himself - spending most of his time snoozing from the sounds of it! We'll definitely be booking Theo in to stay with Zak again soon :)”
