“Andre was an absolute life saver having Hugo at short notice, he has an amazing place with so much room for the dogs to run around. He kept me updated and reasssured the whole time which I really appreciated, thanks again Andre”

“Magnus stayed with Fraser for four nights and was well looked after. We got plenty of photo updates of nice long walks and a video of Magnus fast asleep and snoring. We know he's in good hands!”

“Our dogs Henry and Ellie obviously really enjoyed their time with Ashley. We felt completely confident leaving them in her care. She gave us lots of updates during their stay so we could see they were happy and very relaxed with her. Ashley was very flexible about picking up and drop off times which was really helpful as traffic etc can be unpredictable. We've booked another stay with Ashley in September and we know the dogs will love to see her again. Thank you, Ashley, for taking such good care of our pups ☺️”

“Linsey was a fantastic host to our Vinnie. It was very appreciated that she hosted for a day prior to a weekly stay, so he could feel settled before (and we could too, first time ever leaving with a dog sitter!). We look forward to seeing you again soon!”

“Rob and his family looked after Eddy really well. He set up a WhatsApp group for us so we could see what Eddy was up to and we were able to visit beforehand to make sure Eddy would be a good fit. He and his family were really relaxed with Eddy and Eddy looked happy and healthy on his return to us. Eddy’s been really calm and settled coming home so he must have enjoyed his holiday. Rob and his family were also very flexible about drop off and pick up and communicated well with us throughout. We can’t thank them enough.”

“We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter for Obi while we were away for our wedding. From the moment they met, Obi (who is usually quite nervous around new people) took to Fran immediately, which gave us so much confidence. Throughout the two nights, Fran kept us updated with lovely photos and messages, which really put my mind at ease and meant we could relax and enjoy our special day knowing he was in such caring hands. It was clear that Obi was happy, well looked after and genuinely cared for. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fran to anyone looking for a kind, reliable and trustworthy dog sitter. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our boy!”

“Linda was an IDEAL sitter and I'm so grateful to her for the care she gave to my girl, Trixie!! Trixie is an older dog with some special needs (including meds, weak legs, and a very small bladder). I was worried about leaving her with a sitter under these circumstances, but Linda instantly put me (and Trixie) at ease! She was thoughtful about all of Trixie's needs, made special accommodations for her to be comfortable throughout her stay, and kept me regularly updated with photos. I highly recommend Linda and hope Trixie can stay with her again!”

“Lee looked after Jesse our 6 month old puppy for his first night ever away from home and his first night without us. We met up beforehand and he gave Jesse the opportunity to explore his space and meet George. Lee was very responsive during Jesse's stay and sent videos and updates. Jesse slept on the floor of their bedroom and slept the whole night through and on picking him up Jesse was chilled and happy and wanted to stay longer! I couldn't have hoped for a better first experience for Jesse - thanks Lee.”

“Just picked up Reggie after he stayed with Vanessa for 8 days. We could not recommend Vanessa enough. It was our first time leaving Reggie with someone who wasn't family so we were quite apprehensive but Vanessa instantly made us feel at ease. She kept in regular contact with us with pictures and messages of Reggie's days out , taking him on loads of different walks and trips. Reggie was so relaxed his whole stay and felt so safe with Vanessa. If you're looking for a dog sitter look no further than Vanessa. We will definitely be rebooking in the future. Thanks again”

“Barbara has been the best sitter we have ever found. Our very nervous boy who also has separation anxiety absolutely adores her. Barney is afraid of new people and other dogs but he has settled with Barbara like nobody else. Barbara has given him all the time and love he needed and looked after him so well he didn't want to leave and I'm sure he misses her. I cannot recommend Barbara highly enough”

“Chris gave Wilf a wonderful holiday, he had a great time playing with their dog in the garden and we were sent regular updates throughout. Will certianly be using again in the future. Thanks!”

“Absolutely fantastic!! Such a lovely home and lovely family. Lucy couldn’t have been happier. We will definitely come back to see Victoria the next time we’re in the area. Thank you so much!!!”

“Natalie was absolutely lovely and we had total confidence in her from the outset. She came to meet Ted a few days before he stayed with her and took the trouble to get to know him She was always quick to respond, and kept us updated with photos throughout his stay. Ted clearly had a lovely time with her and even came home with some new toys! We highly recommend her.”

“Liz looked after our young dog Bonnie whilst we were away for a weekend. She did an amazing job of entertaining Bonnie and getting her on some cooler morning walks, as it was super hot! She gave us regular updates on how Bonnie was doing and sent some lovely photos too. Would definitely recommend Liz!”

“We can’t thank Melissa and family enough for looking after Chester, from the initial meeting we knew he would be in safe hands. We had daily updates and pictures definitely will recommend to family and friends and will be booking again in the future. Thank you Chester is one tired boy this evening ❤️”

“Absolutely excellent dog sitter. My dog barely wanted to leave when I came to pick him up! His diabetic needs were fully taken care of without a problem and with full confidence. What a lifesaver knowing we have someone who can keep him when we go on road trips! Definitely will be a repeat customer.”

“We’re so grateful to Gemma for taking such wonderful care of our cat Syd while we were away! she is reliable, kind, and clearly an animal lover. She kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us real peace of mind knowing Syd was happy and well looked after. We couldn’t recommend Gemma highly enough. She’s trustworthy, caring, and goes above and beyond. We’ll definitely be asking for her help again in the future!”

“Sofia is a lovely lady who clearly loves cats, she came to visit before my holiday and she was lovely with my Suki. While I was away she gave me updates and I felt very comfortable with her looking after Suki. I highly recommend Sofia if you need someone to look after your cats.”

“Emma is absolutely amazing! She really looked after our boy Riley and he really loved her! He was also poorly at one point and Emma dealt with it with no problems. She also sent us regular updates of our lovely boy whilst we were away. We couldn’t be more grateful, thank you so much xx”

“Rachel is absolutely lovely. When I met her it was clear she is a warm and caring person who loves animals. She looked after my 3 cats for several days, visiting twice a day to feed and play with them. She updated me regularly with messages and photos. The cats looked very happy and relaxed with her and I felt 100% confident leaving them and I wouldn’t hesitate in booking her again.”

“So pleased with the service provided from Cherie today! The app is brilliant, I would say that after doing a long shift at work and leaving my house cat alone for that long always leaves me feeling uneasy but being new to the area, I couldn't ask anyone to just drop in. Trilby has been introduced to a new friend whilst I'm at work and its gone amazingly. The photo updates were very lovely and gave me piece of mind at work! Definitely worth doing again and has given me confidence to think re. Future plans about possibly having a house sitting booking 😊 thank you. She definitely got the attention that I would have expected. I have heard of some reviews where poeple go in and read a book whilst being paid....I was looking for more interaction with my house cat so I come home on a Monday evening with a less energetic kitty and that's what I had. 💕🤗 x”

“Tianna took really good care of my little girly. Even though the weather was really hot and couldn't go out for walks, she made sure Tilly had the best of time with one-one play.”

“Laura was incredibly friendly and considerate from the moment she met both me and Milly. I was so pleased with the care she gave Milly while I was away, and the regular updates gave me real peace of mind. It was wonderful knowing Milly could stay comfortable in her own home and familiar surroundings. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Laura again and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter.”

“Teddy's daycare with Fran was everything we could have asked for. She sent us pictures during the day and Teddy looks to have had a great time on a walk in the woods with other dogs. He seemed reluctant to say goodbye! Will definitely be using Fran again. Thank you!”

About: We have looked after a number of dog breeds over the years, supporting with day care activities or pop in sessions to check/take-care of needs We work flexible and there is always someone at home. I’m an early riser so ready for some early walks or to take care of morning activities. We have a good size garden (part fenced). We have a large downstairs area for dogs and cats to find their spot to relax at.
About: I hold a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare, am fully trained in pet first aid, and have 7 years of hands-on experience caring for other people’s dogs. Training Experience: • Trained a family member’s dog to Silver level Kennel Club • Worked with dogs outside of family on obedience and behaviour • Experience with agility training • Successfully trained puppies in house training, crate training, and both basic and complex commands My background means I don’t just look after dogs — I understand their behaviour, can read their body language, and provide care that’s tailored to each individual dog’s needs Pet care fits beautifully into my routine because I’m at home most days with a very flexible schedule. I’m available throughout the day, every day, which means I can give dogs the time, attention, and consistency they thrive on. My days are structured around gentle routines — perfect for slow walks, playtime, training sessions, or just quiet company. Whether it’s an early morning walk, a midday play session, or regular check-ins throughout the day, I can easily adapt to your dog’s normal routine to keep them happy and stress-free. Being available most of the day also means I never rush visits — there’s always time for extra cuddles, a longer sniff on a walk, or that little bit of extra attention some dogs need. I offer a warm, safe, home-from-home experience where your dog becomes part of my daily routine. I’m at home most of the day, every day — so your dog will never be left alone for long stretches. I have a good-sized, fully enclosed garden for your dog to run around in or simply relax outside and enjoy the breeze. A typical day includes: • Regular walks in quiet local areas near Street • Playtime, cuddles, and plenty of interaction • Fresh water and feeding exactly to your instructions • A comfortable, designated rest area with their own bed and blankets from home • Photo and video updates so you can see they’re happy and settled With my Animal Behaviour and Welfare degree, I carefully introduce dogs to their new environment, read their body language to ensure they’re comfortable, and adapt my care to each dog’s individual needs — whether that’s extra quiet time, gentle play, or longer sniff walks. Dog Walking: Solo walks only — never group walks (unless specifically requested) — with my full attention at all times. I adapt the pace and style of every walk to suit your dog’s age and temperament. Safety is always my priority: I’m fully trained in pet first aid, and I always carry a pet first aid kit with me on walks.
“Rob looked after my dog extremely well, he and his family were incredible with my dog and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others :) She actually didn’t want to leave!! Thank you Rob and Family!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and love animals (unless they are rodents!) Ive had experience from 5 week old pups all the way to caring for dogs in their senior years, giving medication, insulin injections etc. After losing our beloved 16 year old Patterdale last year, it’s left a big hole and as much as we don’t feel ready to bring another dog into our lives just yet, I’m certainly missing my dog fix. My dog came before everything - just ask my husband! 🤣 And I will treat yours no different. We are an early rising household so you can drop off as early as you like. We are an active house. I work from home so generally will be able to accommodate walks and feeding at their usual times so not to disrupt their routines. There will be times when I need to go out so a dog that is happy to be left for a couple of hours would fit in nicely but if this isn’t possible I can probably work around it with some notice. Daycare and overnight boarding is available and we are central Yeovil based and easy to find. We have a reasonable size garden with grass and patio, with a mix of sun and shade. The garden is fully secure. Within walking distance of the house there is a small field, a park and plenty of pavement walks. Ham Hill Country Park is only a short drive away so if you’d like them walked here your dog will need to be crate trained for the car journey. All walks will be done on a lead for all of our peace of mind! Inside the house it’s open plan living so your dog will have the run of the ground floor with the exception of my treatment room. The upstairs will remain out of bounds.

“Erin did a great job looking after our dog, Kira. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly experienced with dogs. Kira seemed really happy and comfortable with her. Erin kept us updated throughout, and everything was handled smoothly. We’d definitely recommend Erin as a 5* sitter.”

“I was nervous about leaving Joni with someone she didn't know due to her separation anxiety. Hayley & Dom were lovely & reassuring at our meet & greet and Joni liked them both, going up to them for a stroke. She made herself at home and had a good look around obviously comfortable in their home. On our first day leaving Joni, Hayley kept me updated with how she was getting on which put my mind at ease. Joni howled a few times when she realised she was somewhere strange, but went to both Hayley and Dom for a cuddle & reassurance. When I picked Joni up she didn't notice me initially as she was to busy being involved with what Hayley & the children were doing! Dom reassured me that Joni got on well & settled despite her anxiety and they were very understanding. Joni was tired out after her busy day. Hayley & Dom made me & Joni feel very comfortable, I'm very pleased I've found these kind people, who clearly understand and love dogs.”

“Thanks again so much Kylie and family. It’s so reassuring to know Dolly is having a great day with Remus and is being well cared for and in safe hands. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Kylie to anyone looking for a reliable, kind and knowledgeable dog sitter. Thank you Kylie and see you again in a couple of weeks.”

“My little dog loved her day with Linda! We were delighted that she was happy to take her for the day at very short notice. Linda was patient and loving with my dog and instantly put her at ease. I got updates and photos and felt totally lucky to have found her so I could work without any worry. I’ll definitely ask Linda to have my dog again.”

About: I grew up with four dachshunds in the family home, standard and miniature. All had very different temperaments so I’m comfortable with pets that require special attention and care, understanding their unique personalities and needs. I have experience sitting dachshunds, spaniels, Staffordshire bull terriers, boxers, American bulldog, cavapoo, cockapoo, boarder terrier, Yorkshire terrier. I do have a 7 year old boy named Benjamin who has a calm and confident nature around dogs. I also currently have a staffy pup named Flo who is just over a year old and she absolutely adores other dogs and is the biggest softy you’ll ever meet. So I can only accept looking after dogs that are happy around children and other dogs. 😊 If boarding isn’t an option for your pet I do offer house sitting. My goal is always to create a safe, happy, and comfortable space for every pet I care for, treating them as if they were my own. 🐾 Insured sitter 🙂 I work part time as a dental nurse. I do also have space for those that need a pet sitter for their smaller animals such as hamsters, rats and gerbils. If your pet has any special dietary requirements please let me know.

About: Hello and thank you for considering me to look after your furbaby. I've been an animal lover all my life and I've been a mum to four dogs (a chihuahua, a fox terrier mix, a Scottish terrier and an American Pitbull), 2 ragdoll cats, one rabbit, one pet rat, several parrots and budgies, two turtles and 3 goldfish. I now live in Ilchester with my husband and two cats. I'm really interested in pet nutrition, wellbeing and enrichment and I love spending time with furry, feathered or scaly friends. I have experience with shy/nervous dogs as two of our family dogs were quite timid around strangers. I'm fit and active so walks are never a problem and I enjoy providing some indoor play / training exercises too for curious doggies. I'm just as happy cuddling on the couch if you have a more laid back or senior pup. I know how daunting it can be to find someone to look after my pets when we go away so I decided to offer my services to people in my area. I'm lucky to be working from home so I won't have to leave your pet for long periods of time during the day. If you need someone to look after your dog or cat while you take a much deserved holiday, I'd be happy to help. I work from home as a part time marketing manager, which makes pet sitting possible. My schedule is also very flexible and I can work from anywhere. I know how worrying it can be when you're leaving your furbaby with someone else. During my stay I'll be sure to follow your pet's routine and any special instructions I'm given. I'm also happy to provide regular updates and photos. Your pet's wellbeing is my most important priority and I'll treat them with as much love and care as I would my own.

“Fiona is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for someone to look after your pet… our little mini dachshund was very happy with her for the few hours we needed care. Absolutely would request her if ever in the area again!”

“Emma looked after our two dogs while we were away, taking them out for their daily walks or just playing with them due to the heat. This was the first time anyone outside of our family had walked them, and it was clear from the updates and photos that they had an amazing time in Emma’s care. We were kept informed every day with messages and pictures, which gave us complete peace of mind. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Emma again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, caring, and professional pet care. Thank you, Emma!”

I’m confident in administering medication, including insulin, and I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all ages and breeds — from fluffy long-hairs that need regular grooming to independent farm or feral cats. I have a company called Woofs & Whiskers, which provides pet and house sitting, which allows me to offer a wide range of availability during weekdays, weekends and school holidays (day and night). To supplement this during quieter months, I work as a bank support worker for adults with learning disabilities and autism. Working on the bank (0 hour contract) allows me to prioritise my I know that leaving your pets and your home in someone else’s care takes a huge amount of trust. My aim is always to make things as familiar, calm and consistent as possible for your pets while you’re away, and to give you the reassurance that they’re being well cared for. Wherever possible, I will maintain your pet’s usual routine, including their normal feeding times, walks, bedtime routines and the little habits that help them feel secure. I’m happy to administer medication, follow specialist or prescribed diets, and work with any individual care instructions you provide. For dogs, I will initially stick to walking routes and areas they already know, rather than introducing unfamiliar places straight away. Once we’ve built a relationship and I understand their personality, behaviour and recall, we can agree whether exploring further afield or walking off lead is appropriate. Building trust and a positive relationship with your pets is really important to me. I’ll take things at their pace, particularly with pets who are nervous, anxious or simply need a little longer to decide whether I’m worthy of their approval! I’m equally respectful of the fact that I’m being trusted with your home as well as your pets. I will only use or enter the areas of your home that are necessary for their care and will always aim to leave your home exactly as I found it. While you’re away, I’ll maintain regular contact and updates, including photos and messages as agreed, so you know how everyone is getting on without having to wonder or chase for information. I am fully insured for pet sitting and am very happy to provide a copy of my insurance documentation for your reassurance. Most importantly, I want you to be able to go away knowing that your pets are safe, comfortable and cared for by someone who will treat them, their routines and your home with respect.

About: I have grown up surrounded by animals and have been caring for them as long as I can remember. I come from a farming background so have lots of experience with a variety of animals and taught me how to cater to their individual needs. I also have experience with both more elderly dogs and young pups which has allowed me to understand and provide care specialised to their needs. I am an active person who enjoys spending time outdoors so would ensure your animals get all the exercise and enrichment they need. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine, as I am available from the afternoon onwards on weekdays and throughout the weekend. I am organised and reliable, ensuring I have plenty of time to provide each pet with the care, attention and companionship they need while following their usual routine as closely as possible. I understand that trust is essential when caring for someone else's pet and home. I will always follow your instructions carefully, maintain your pet's usual routine, and ensure they are safe, comfortable and well cared for. I will treat your home with respect, keep it secure, and provide regular updates for your peace of mind.

About: I have owned cats and horses my whole life and have dog sit on Rover for around 2 years. I have received 5* reviews from all owners. I have done walking, day care and boarding for long durations and have loved providing a safe and happy environment for every dog who has stayed. Having owned cats and horses my whole life I have a good attention to detail and make sure to cater to every pets specific needs. I am a patient and kind handler and a true animal lover. My two horses are pictured in the last slide. I am currently in my final year of studying an equine degree at Hartpury University, specialising in horse behaviour and welfare. I come home to Cheddar most weekends, when I am free to look after your pets. My weekday availability varies so please message if you have any out of hours requests and I will do my best to accommodate. I’m fortunate enough to live on a quiet private lane with a secure and gated patio and a small grass garden. We are tucked away from main roads and don’t get any through traffic. When staying overnight in my house I have the option to section off parts of my house with a baby gate or leave open the whole of downstairs which is plenty enough space for a larger dog. My house is very quiet and peaceful and so if your dog prefers a quieter environment they will be more than happy. I also have heaps of cozy blankets but please feel free to bring as many of your own as you like.

About: I started my Veterinary Nursing training when I was 18 years old and have not looked back since! I trained at an animal shelter practice and therefore have a good understanding of dogs with individual needs and temperaments. I have since qualified as an Emergency and Critical Care Nurse and now work as a Nursing Manager at a Large Veterinary Referral Hospital. I am certified in both Basic and Advanced Life Support/CPR and am happy administering all types of medications including injections. In addition to my extensive Veterinary experience I have also grown up with dogs and love to care and support them in all stages of their lives! I have been trusted by neighbours, friends, family and clients to look after their dogs before, even those with very advanced medical conditions and I am therefore comfortable caring for dogs that have a range of training and medical needs. I am passionate, fun and have a lot of love to give! If you have any questions please just get into contact and I will be happy to help! I understand trusting someone to look after your best friend and companion can be a lot, so if you want to talk things through with me regarding your pet’s individual needs, just let me know! 🐾 My schedule is currently very flexible, allowing me to provide attentive and consistent care throughout the day and adapt to your pet’s individual routine and needs. Whether your dog enjoys lots of walks and playtime, or your cat prefers a calm and relaxed environment, I can tailor my care to suit them perfectly. I am available during both weekdays and weekends and can often accommodate bespoke arrangements, medication schedules, and additional check-ins where needed. With my veterinary nursing background, I am confident caring for pets with a wide range of medical, behavioural, and emotional needs. I genuinely love spending quality time with animals, from long walks and enrichment for energetic dogs to cuddles, companionship, and gentle care for cats. My priority is always to make your pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you are away 🐾 We live in a detached house in Cheddar. We have a secure fenced garden with grass and patio to suite your dog’s toileting habits! And also have direct access to public footpaths which take you onto stunning open fields.
About: I own a gorgeous mixed dog breed so have direct experience as well as my childhood home hosting various cats and dogs. I have dealt with heartbreak and pure pleasure. Currently in between jobs so could do with some extra money. Each week I can be flexible. Evenings are also a possibility as well as weekends. I have a modest sized house with sufficient fencing. I live alone. No children. I own a dog myself so I am very aware of what is too much .
About: I grew up in the countryside with a large menagerie of animals and then went into pet sitting. I have several regular clients who book me on repeat every year because I provide a great level of care for their pets. Genuine animal lover and love getting out and about in the countryside with a four legged friend or 3. Fun, fresh air and snuggles guaranteed. I work from home and I'm self employed which means I'm free to go for walkies whenever it's needed and I'm always with your pet to keep them company. I have a home educated daughter who is a real animal lover and has grown up pet sitting with me since she was a few months old. We both love to get out and about in the countryside and love the company of a dog or two on our rambles. We know the area well and always seek out great dog walks and places for them to play. I have a fenced garden and a warm, cosy home where pets can hop onto the bed or sofas for cuddles. I live on the edge of the countryside so only 5 minutes walk before we reach open fields, hills and streams for playtime. I have been pet sitting for many years and always take impeccable care of their homes and pets.

“Linsey was a fantastic host to our Vinnie. It was very appreciated that she hosted for a day prior to a weekly stay, so he could feel settled before (and we could too, first time ever leaving with a dog sitter!). We look forward to seeing you again soon!”

“Chris gave Wilf a wonderful holiday, he had a great time playing with their dog in the garden and we were sent regular updates throughout. Will certianly be using again in the future. Thanks!”

“We can’t thank Melissa and family enough for looking after Chester, from the initial meeting we knew he would be in safe hands. We had daily updates and pictures definitely will recommend to family and friends and will be booking again in the future. Thank you Chester is one tired boy this evening ❤️”

“Kirsty and her family treated Albus as if he were their own. He was spoilt with plenty of cuddles and love and even came home with a brand new ball which he hasnt put down yet! They put my mind at rest leaving Albus. I would definately recommend them to anyone and would be more than happy to book Albus woth them again! It was lovely seeing Albus so settled! X”

“This was our first time leaving our two (very energetic!) spaniels with Aleksandra and we could not be happier! Meg and Moss were clearly well looked after, walked well and very happy when we picked them up. Aleksandra kept me updated lots throughout the day which I really appreciated and was super flexible with picking up and dropping off. We will definitely be back!”

“Becky looked after our puppy at her house for the afternoon. Second time looking after him. He came home very happy and clearly had a great time. Brilliant care and communication again.”

“We wouldn't have anyone but Natalie look after Stan while we are away. He loves his stays. This time Stan had his own holiday with Natalie & family! She always makes sure to send plenty of photos & videos so that I can see he's happy & having a great experience. The best dog boarder !”

“Josh is very experienced with looking after dogs, great at keeping you in the loop and updating you. He had my Border Collie for a week and handled her brilliantly even with her sometimes moody attitude.”

“After the one night stay to see if our boy would be settled and take to Beth and Ross and the way he was after that stay showed us everything we needed to know. Thor on the second time we took him over dragged us down the garden path and couldnt WAIT to go back inside which means everything to us. Beth and Ross once again was perfect- we had very very quick responses to every whats app and message sent and we saw the pure love they both have for dogs- we have found our new sitters and would not go anywhere else now. Perfect in everyway. We are already planning our next trip away and I know Thor is already planning on his mini holiday away with both of them. Thanks guys- cannot thank you both enough. If there was a 10 star rating you would get that! 10/10!!!! :-)”

“Our Cavapoo Prince LOVED staying at Petra’s house and we’ll be sure to use her again. She gave us daily updates with photos and we felt safe that he was being looked after so well. Thank you Petra!”
