Our cavapoo absolutely loved Lee’s garden which provides a perfect secure environment for dogs to explore and play, and he really enjoyed the company of Lee’s gorgeous dog George, whose chilled disposition was perfect company for Luigi. Luigi certainly grew in confidence during his holiday at Lee’s and was spoilt with lovely long daily walks. We had regular updates and photos which were hugely appreciated. About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 13 were I worked in a kennels for 4 years, I have a dog of my own and up until recently a cat as well. I absolutely adore animals and love taking care of them When looking after you furbabies, I will follow their schedule and routine to reduce stress and anxiety, i appreciate being with someone new can sometimes can even be nerve racking for us humans! I do come armed with pockets of treats and lots of fuss and cuddles! I work part time from home, and fit my dogs needs round my working schedule, our dog gets walked once a day mainly after I finished work in the afternoon. At the weekends we try and fit in a walk in a new spot to really run out any energy, if we are unable to make a long walk during the week we often rent out a dog walking field local to us I live in a small home with a secure garden and baby gates for extra security, our dog does have free rein of the house, he is a big softy and loves anything and everything! Any dog that would stay at our house would be separated at night from our dog to ensure maximum safety for everyone.

“Macy took such good care of our little chap I think he misses her. The whole family were welcoming and some enjoyed walks and playtime too. This is obviously a dog loving household. Communication was great and we had lots of pictures and videos clearly showing a very smiley and happy dog. If there was anything that Macy was unsure of she contacted us directly which we appreciated. “Addie was lovely and I would highly recommend her. Sadly my 10 month old Springer was quite a handful and Very hyperactive and certainly not on his best behaviour. Also Addie did not have the space that Otis is used to and I feel this exacerbated his stress levels and caused him to have accidents which does not happen at home. Addie has already let me know she would not look after Otis again and I totally understand this. I would still highly recommend Addie as her communication and experience were so good and I know she worked hard on making Otis enjoy his stay. Finally once again I would highly recommend Addie but not for my Springer. Back to training class for us I think. Thank you Addie for all you did, you were amazing xx”

When we returned home, it was evident that while our cat was very happy to see us, and came to us for attention, she also included Tess in her rounds - making it evident that she (the cat) saw Tess as a positive part of her family. While we were away Tess stayed in touch. She asked early on if we preferred to have pictures, explaining that some people do and some don't. We do and she sent several lovely photos over the period, each showing our cat behaving just like herself, which helped me to know that she was happy. About: Padfoot is my Maine Coon kitty! I have been devoted to him as a loving cat mother for 3 years now which means I am currently in his primal teenage years. I’ve watched him grow from a misbehaving kitten into a stoic, majestic young cat. Cats aren’t as easy to train but he is recall trained and will vocalise his whereabouts whenever I look for him. Padfoot knows he is loved and cared for and in return I receive cuddles, delightful purring and sometimes the odd present from the great outdoors. Currently training him to be less vocal towards my groomer hah! Apart from my own cat, I have another smaller female cat in a different household. She is also neutered and trained to come home when called. My younger siblings adore her!

About: I’ve worked in animal rescue so I’m very used to a wide variety of dogs, breed and size. Also worked with a variety of needs also. I have my own dogs. One since a pup who was challenging and then became reactive. She is doing amazing now! And I have a foreign rescue who posed many opposite challenges so I’m able to adapt to the dogs needs. I have ten years experience in the nhs but I’m looking at going into a career with dogs now. It’s my main passion. I’ve been told I’m very calm and patient with dogs which draws many dogs to me. I have attended all sorts of workshops and classes with my own dogs including: puppy/adolescent classes, trick training, parkour, scentwork, mantrailing, barnhunt, Canicross, paddle boarding, agility and hoopers to name a few. I try and include things I think your dog may enjoy on our walks. I have completed many online courses from canine first aid, canine body language and behaviour and dog walking. I have also spent a lot of time observing behaviourists, trainers, walkers, vets, vet nurses, hydrotherapists and physios to gain as much knowledge and experience as I can. I’m currently doing odd bits of work with dogs including training/behaviour work with supervision and hydrotherapy/physio assistant work. So my diary is currently very flexible. I know lots of local walks and I’m very used to finding quieter walks if that’s what a dog needs. I also know good busier areas for bits of dog training depending on the dogs requirements. About: I grew up with four dachshunds in the family home, standard and miniature. All had very different temperaments so I’m comfortable with pets that require special attention and care, understanding their unique personalities and needs. I have experience sitting dachshunds, spaniels, Staffordshire bull terriers, boxers, American bulldog, cavapoo, cockapoo, boarder terrier, Yorkshire terrier. I do have a 7 year old boy named Benjamin who has a calm and confident nature around dogs. I also currently have a staffy pup named Flo who is just over a year old and she absolutely adores other dogs and is the biggest softy you’ll ever meet. So I can only accept looking after dogs that are happy around children and other dogs. 😊 If boarding isn’t an option for your pet I do offer house sitting. My goal is always to create a safe, happy, and comfortable space for every pet I care for, treating them as if they were my own. 🐾 Insured sitter 🙂 I work part time as a dental nurse. Giving me Tuesdays and weekends free to look after your beloved pets, providing the playtime, cuddles and attention they need. I have a 2 bedroom house that does have a medium sized back garden that is enclosed with high fencing all round. I can take your 4 legged friend out for walks in the large field or woods near by on lead (unless agreed otherwise). About: I am a final year vet student. I have grown up with a range of animals and have worked with a rescue and rehabilitation centre since I was 15. I am first aid trained and have completed relevant behaviour and training courses. I currently have a 4 year old German shepherd/ malamute cross called bonsai, a rescue cat called Marnie, a rescue chameleon (gaius), guinea pigs (marjory and Gladys) and a hamster (goose). I work 40 hours a week but I am in a position to decrease this if pet sitting really takes off! Most days I will finish my work day at 6pm so I am available in the evenings after 6pm. Thursdays and Sundays are my guaranteed days off so overnight stays are absolutely doable on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Walkies and at home sitting is absolutely doable for me after a work day. I have a 2 bedroom house with a small/medium fenced garden. We have a cat and a dog in our home and our dog is 17 years old so she is being rather intensely cared for at the moment due to recently having an operation on her eye. My cat is indoor/outdoor but very much enjoys his own space and company, loves to roam in the greenery outside our house. Out the front of my house is a large field which gets used by myself and neighbours to let the furries have a run around. Both pets are fed at the same time each day and are fed together, they enjoy eating their dinners together. Padfoot (my cat) is always waiting at the door by 5pm as he knows it’s dinner time!

I come home to Cheddar most weekends, when I am free to look after your pets. I’m fortunate enough to live on a quiet private lane with a secure and gated patio and a small grass garden. We are tucked away from main roads and don’t get any through traffic. When staying overnight in my house I have the option to section off parts of my house with a baby gate or leave open the whole of downstairs which is plenty enough space for a larger dog. My house is very quiet and peaceful and so if your dog prefers a quieter environment they will be more than happy. I also have heaps of cozy blankets but please feel free to bring as many of your own as you like.

“Addie was lovely and I would highly recommend her. Sadly my 10 month old Springer was quite a handful and Very hyperactive and certainly not on his best behaviour. Also Addie did not have the space that Otis is used to and I feel this exacerbated his stress levels and caused him to have accidents which does not happen at home. Addie has already let me know she would not look after Otis again and I totally understand this. I would still highly recommend Addie as her communication and experience were so good and I know she worked hard on making Otis enjoy his stay. Finally once again I would highly recommend Addie but not for my Springer. Back to training class for us I think. Thank you Addie for all you did, you were amazing xx”
