Hello, I am Emma, a lifelong pet owner and dedicated animal welfare professional. I have 5 years professional experience working with a variety of animals in animal care environments (rescue centres, boarding facilities, wildlife hospitals, animal sanctuaries). I have a degree in wildlife biology where I studied animal behaviour and welfare and completed my own research project & dissertation in this subject area. I am extremely passionate about providing the highest level of care to animals and I endeavour to ensure every need they have is met. In my most recent role, I worked as an Animal Care Assistant for 1.5 years at a boarding kennels & cattery. I am experienced in handling a wide range of dog breeds, and no matter their size, I love them all! I have been pet-sitting since 2022, starting off part-time to fit around my work. I quickly realised how much I enjoy doing this, and have been pet-sitting full-time since the end of 2025! I find the flexibility compared to a standard 9-5 makes the workday so much more fun as no 2 days are ever the same. Getting to meet new furry friends and their lovely owners is just the best, I love connecting with people over animals and seeing the joy that pets bring to people's lives. I thoroughly enjoy working out what makes each animal tick and learning about their quirks (we all have them!) so that I can cater the care I provide to their needs. I devote myself to providing the best possible animal care so your fur babies will be in the safest hands. I have a love for all animals so I am happy to look after whatever breed/species your pet may be! Rest easy knowing that your pet will be cared for as if they are my own ❤️ Ensuring that your pet is happy and healthy is my top priority. In your home, I will respect your property and follow all instructions/advice given to me. Typical duties I will undertake while pet-sitting or dropping in for a visit are: feeding, watering, cleaning up any messes, litter tray cleaning, toilet breaks, welfare checks, play, and lots of cuddles!

Safety, trust & environment
I follow all instructions given to me. For example if your pet(s) are only allowed access to certain areas of your home, I will ensure that this is strictly adhered to. I take safety and security very seriously, as such I will not leave windows/doors open or leave any area of your property unlocked unless specifically asked to. When we meet, I will ask about your pet(s) usual routine so that I can keep them as comfortable as possible while you are away.

Emma did a fantastic job of looking after all 4 of our dogs, even in some very trying circumstances. Emma kept us regularly updated whilst we were away, and we knew they were in good hands. 4 happy hounds 🐾🐾🐾🐾
When Emma came around to meet Denzil before her booking I knew we were in good hands as Denzil was very comfortable with her and you can tell she loves what she does. Emma did everything we asked plus more, he had a walk, play, was fed and given lots of love. We came home to a very content dog. ❤️
Emma is so good with our two cats and leaves everything spotless and tidy. She keeps us aware if she needs to come a bit later or early and sends little updates on them
Emma stepped in at late notice and was just wonderful right through from initial messages, booking and feedback on the day. Hugo looked to have a lovely time with Emma and was very content when we returned. We will certainly ask for Emmas help in the future.
We have started to use Emma to look after our two mini sausage dogs. We have just had our first taster day with her, she kept us up to date was on time and left the house clean and tidy . We have no issue with her looking after our girls again for our upcoming holidays.
Emma picked up my dogs' care with extremely short notice and was fab. Both dogs were happy and no issues whilst she looked after them.

Schedule
I am a full-time pet-sitter and I thoroughly enjoy getting to meet new clients and their lovely pets. I have a number of ongoing repeat clients, meaning that any new bookings would need to fit around these but generally I am very flexible.
