Linsey was a fantastic host to our Vinnie. It was very appreciated that she hosted for a day prior to a weekly stay, so he could feel settled before (and we could too, first time ever leaving with a dog sitter!). We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Barbara has been the best sitter we have ever found. Our very nervous boy who also has separation anxiety absolutely adores her. Barney is afraid of new people and other dogs but he has settled with Barbara like nobody else. Barbara has given him all the time and love he needed and looked after him so well he didn't want to leave and I'm sure he misses her. I cannot recommend Barbara highly enough

What a lovely couple. My dog has had a fantastic time. He's come home exhausted after a very long walk. From the photos I have been sent, I can see he thoroughly enjoyed his walks. He was welcomed into their home and treated as though he was their own. It was clear to me that they are dog sitting because they love dogs. I am so happy that my dog was so well looked after. Thank you Sam and Katherine x

Charlie got to socialise with other dogs and Joshua and His partner sent us lots of photos and videos showing what a great time Charlie had. Kelly looked after my 14 year old staffy roxy for 4 days. Kelly provided loads of photos and updates. Roxy was very happy in her home, kelly was professional, kind and compassionate towards roxy, providing her with taylored care after asking questions about her routine to minimise stress, she also gave her medication as instructed and informed me when it had run out returning the bottle back with her. Can not reccomend her highly enough. Thanks Kelly

About: I have 1 gorgeous Goldador at home.I have experience with newborn puppies as my parents oldest dog has had 2 litters (1st with 10 puppies (1 of them is my fur baby!) and 2nd with 7) so I am capable of looking after lots of dogs at a time and can handle stressful situations. All of my dogs are active at and when at home I take them on long walks daily and make sure they are mentally stimulated. Both of them are very well behaved and I trained them myself and to a very high standard (can do a variety of tricks). I love dogs all shapes and sizes and can easily adapt to any situation. I look forward to meeting your dog and hopefully they will become my new best friend!! I am at home in Norwich for the summer until I go back to university at the end of September and will be available weekdays and weekends with notice I will happily spend time with your dogs in your garden or take them on one of my favourite walking routes to make sure they have the best time with me :)

Emma was absolutely amazing with my three cats over three days of drop ins. I was really nervous about leaving them as I had never done so before, but after meeting in person and checking out the daily updates to see how happy my cats were, I realised I had nothing to worry about at all! Emma provided regular updates and pictures and clearly took the time to gain each of my cats trust, played with them and gave them treats! Will be using Emma again and would recommend her to anyone! About: Iv lived with animals all my life, grew up on a farm and have a passion for working with all types of furry friends! I have also been lucky enough to train my dogs, either from a pup or once rescued from all Sorts of backgrounds. I work closely with local rescue centres and have fostered, rehabilitated and trained some very beautiful and loving pooches. I absolutely love dogs, and working from home means I can dedicate plenty of time, care, and attention to them throughout the day. I previously had a much-loved medium-sized dog who was truly part of the family, so I understand just how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. Although she’s no longer with me, my home is still very much set up with dogs in mind. I offer two daily walks, lots of companionship, and access to my small but secure, dog-friendly garden. Your pet would be welcomed warmly, treated with genuine affection, and cared for as if they were one of my own during their stay. My garden is fully fenced and completely safe. I have gates up in the home and doors to block and exits (just in case anyone tries to make a break for it)

So pleased with the service provided from Cherie today! The app is brilliant, I would say that after doing a long shift at work and leaving my house cat alone for that long always leaves me feeling uneasy but being new to the area, I couldn't ask anyone to just drop in. Trilby has been introduced to a new friend whilst I'm at work and its gone amazingly. The photo updates were very lovely and gave me piece of mind at work! Definitely worth doing again and has given me confidence to think re. Future plans about possibly having a house sitting booking 😊 thank you. She definitely got the attention that I would have expected. I have heard of some reviews where poeple go in and read a book whilst being paid....I was looking for more interaction with my house cat so I come home on a Monday evening with a less energetic kitty and that's what I had. 💕🤗 x

About: Whilst I have set my sitter profile to mainly available for dogs, I am also available to house sit & do drop ins for your cat! I have owned cats in the past, and whilst I owned one that likely thought of me as a staff member, I also owned one that was more like a dog and actually enjoyed my attention... About: I’ve worked in animal rescue so I’m very used to a wide variety of dogs, breed and size. Also worked with a variety of needs also. I have my own dogs. One since a pup who was challenging and then became reactive. She is doing amazing now! And I have a foreign rescue who posed many opposite challenges so I’m able to adapt to the dogs needs. I have ten years experience in the nhs but I’m looking at going into a career with dogs now. It’s my main passion. I’ve been told I’m very calm and patient with dogs which draws many dogs to me. I have attended all sorts of workshops and classes with my own dogs including: puppy/adolescent classes, trick training, parkour, scentwork, mantrailing, barnhunt, Canicross, paddle boarding, agility and hoopers to name a few. I try and include things I think your dog may enjoy on our walks. I have completed many online courses from canine first aid, canine body language and behaviour and dog walking. I have also spent a lot of time observing behaviourists, trainers, walkers, vets, vet nurses, hydrotherapists and physios to gain as much knowledge and experience as I can. I’m currently doing odd bits of work with dogs including training/behaviour work with supervision and hydrotherapy/physio assistant work. So my diary is currently very flexible. I know lots of local walks and I’m very used to finding quieter walks if that’s what a dog needs. I also know good busier areas for bits of dog training depending on the dogs requirements. I also live on private land with some secure fields so that is an option also.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and love animals (unless they are rodents!) Ive had experience from 5 week old pups all the way to caring for dogs in their senior years, giving medication, insulin injections etc. After losing our beloved 16 year old Patterdale last year, it’s left a big hole and as much as we don’t feel ready to bring another dog into our lives just yet, I’m certainly missing my dog fix. My dog came before everything - just ask my husband! 🤣 And I will treat yours no different. We are an early rising household so you can drop off as early as you like. We are an active house. I work from home so generally will be able to accommodate walks and feeding at their usual times so not to disrupt their routines. There will be times when I need to go out so a dog that is happy to be left for a couple of hours would fit in nicely but if this isn’t possible I can probably work around it with some notice. Daycare and overnight boarding is available and we are central Yeovil based and easy to find. We have a reasonable size garden with grass and patio, with a mix of sun and shade. The garden is fully secure. Within walking distance of the house there is a small field, a park and plenty of pavement walks. Ham Hill Country Park is only a short drive away so if you’d like them walked here your dog will need to be crate trained for the car journey. All walks will be done on a lead for all of our peace of mind! Inside the house it’s open plan living so your dog will have the run of the ground floor with the exception of my treatment room. The upstairs will remain out of bounds.

About: DBS Checked | Fully Insured | Driving Licence | Own Vehicle | 5 Years Animal Rescue Volunteering | Right to Work in the UK I have been surrounded by animals since early childhood and have always cared for both dogs and cats. Throughout my life, I’ve lived with one, two, and sometimes even three dogs at the same time of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments, so I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. I have completed basic dog training courses and spent 10 years volunteering at a dog and cat shelter, where I gained valuable experience caring for animals, supporting rescues, and helping with adoption processes. I am confident handling both small and large dogs and can comfortably walk multiple dogs at once in a safe and calm manner. I genuinely love spending time with animals — whether that’s going for long walks, playing, providing companionship, or simply making them feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am patient, attentive, and reliable, and I always make sure pets receive plenty of care, affection, exercise, and attention. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I will always treat your pets as if they were my own. I would be delighted to help care for your furry family members. I am currently not working, which means I can fully dedicate my time and attention to caring for pets. I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the week, including weekends, for walks, drop-ins, daycare, or overnight care. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I would love to make pet care my long-term profession. In the near future, I am planning to take professional canine behaviour and dog training courses to further improve my knowledge and skills as a future dog trainer. I always make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship, while following their usual routines to help them feel comfortable and secure. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities. I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident and relaxed when leaving their pets in someone else’s care, so I always provide a calm, caring, and reliable environment. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walking routines, medication, training, and any special requirements. I have experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments, including energetic dogs, shy pets, and senior animals. During walks, I stay attentive and safety-conscious at all times, and I am comfortable handling multiple dogs when needed. I also make sure pets receive regular updates, photos, and communication so owners can feel reassured while they are away. I treat every animal with patience, kindness, and respect, as if they were my own.

About: I hold a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare, am fully trained in pet first aid, and have 7 years of hands-on experience caring for other people’s dogs. Training Experience: • Trained a family member’s dog to Silver level Kennel Club • Worked with dogs outside of family on obedience and behaviour • Experience with agility training • Successfully trained puppies in house training, crate training, and both basic and complex commands My background means I don’t just look after dogs — I understand their behaviour, can read their body language, and provide care that’s tailored to each individual dog’s needs Pet care fits beautifully into my routine because I’m at home most days with a very flexible schedule. I’m available throughout the day, every day, which means I can give dogs the time, attention, and consistency they thrive on. My days are structured around gentle routines — perfect for slow walks, playtime, training sessions, or just quiet company. Whether it’s an early morning walk, a midday play session, or regular check-ins throughout the day, I can easily adapt to your dog’s normal routine to keep them happy and stress-free. Being available most of the day also means I never rush visits — there’s always time for extra cuddles, a longer sniff on a walk, or that little bit of extra attention some dogs need. I offer a warm, safe, home-from-home experience where your dog becomes part of my daily routine. I’m at home most of the day, every day — so your dog will never be left alone for long stretches. I have a good-sized, fully enclosed garden for your dog to run around in or simply relax outside and enjoy the breeze. A typical day includes: • Regular walks in quiet local areas near Street • Playtime, cuddles, and plenty of interaction • Fresh water and feeding exactly to your instructions • A comfortable, designated rest area with their own bed and blankets from home • Photo and video updates so you can see they’re happy and settled With my Animal Behaviour and Welfare degree, I carefully introduce dogs to their new environment, read their body language to ensure they’re comfortable, and adapt my care to each dog’s individual needs — whether that’s extra quiet time, gentle play, or longer sniff walks. Dog Walking: Solo walks only — never group walks (unless specifically requested) — with my full attention at all times. I adapt the pace and style of every walk to suit your dog’s age and temperament. Safety is always my priority: I’m fully trained in pet first aid, and I always carry a pet first aid kit with me on walks.

About: I raised my 5 year old cocker spaniel, who loves ditch-the-bowl training. I'm a freelance outdoor instructor offering stimulating, long winter walks with new scents to enrich happy dogs. My two dogs enjoy morning and evening walks. With the garden always open, I provide 1-2 long weekday walks and adventurous weekend outings away from Sherborne. My garden is fenced, so they cannot escape. My two dogs will keep your dog company who are both very friendly and are used to other dogs staying. If they were to travel in the van I have seat belt clips, clips and a crate in the rear. I have a crate if your dog needs it's own space in the house too (Rusty sleeps under the stairs and Indi can sleep in our bedroom, so your dog can either sleep in the kitchen or living room). If you needed me to stay at your house, then I don't have to bring my dogs as my partner also works from home. We love dogs! We don't have children so they get a lot of fuss. I tend to use kibble/treats on their first walk with a retractable lead, to get a sense of recall and connection with the dog.

About: Hello and thank you for considering me to look after your furbaby. I've been an animal lover all my life and I've been a mum to four dogs (a chihuahua, a fox terrier mix, a Scottish terrier and an American Pitbull), 2 ragdoll cats, one rabbit, one pet rat, several parrots and budgies, two turtles and 3 goldfish. I now live in Ilchester with my husband and two cats. I'm really interested in pet nutrition, wellbeing and enrichment and I love spending time with furry, feathered or scaly friends. I have experience with shy/nervous dogs as two of our family dogs were quite timid around strangers. I'm fit and active so walks are never a problem and I enjoy providing some indoor play / training exercises too for curious doggies. I'm just as happy cuddling on the couch if you have a more laid back or senior pup. I know how daunting it can be to find someone to look after my pets when we go away so I decided to offer my services to people in my area. I'm lucky to be working from home so I won't have to leave your pet for long periods of time during the day. If you need someone to look after your dog or cat while you take a much deserved holiday, I'd be happy to help. I work from home as a part time marketing manager, which makes pet sitting possible. My schedule is also very flexible and I can work from anywhere. I know how worrying it can be when you're leaving your furbaby with someone else. During my stay I'll be sure to follow your pet's routine and any special instructions I'm given. I'm also happy to provide regular updates and photos. Your pet's wellbeing is my most important priority and I'll treat them with as much love and care as I would my own.

Emma looked after our two dogs while we were away, taking them out for their daily walks or just playing with them due to the heat. This was the first time anyone outside of our family had walked them, and it was clear from the updates and photos that they had an amazing time in Emma’s care. We were kept informed every day with messages and pictures, which gave us complete peace of mind. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Emma again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, caring, and professional pet care. Thank you, Emma!

I’m really happy with Tianna's help walking Vixen . She went out of her way to assist, even though it was a bit far for her this time. Tianna suggested day care as a better option for socialisation, which shows how much she cares about what’s best for the dogs. Nala, Tianna's dog, is already used to being around other dogs, so this was perfect. I would definitely use Tianna’s services again—she’s thoughtful, professional, and clearly loves what she does!

About: I’ve always taken care of the pets of my friends, family and neighbours and have recently been using the borrow-my-doggy app to help look after the dogs of locals on a volunteering basis. This has included walking the dogs and having them overnight, with one client saying she teared up because of how helpful I was! I currently have no fixed working hours, so I am completely flexible! I can be a morning person or night owl depending on your pet, in order to adapt to their schedule in the most convenient way possible for you and them. I have a spacious area with 3 rooms and an open plan layout as well as stairs to allow your pet space to roam and run free, before heading out to the many amazing walking areas right in front of the gated property I live in. I have dog toys from when I looked after previous dogs and food/water bowls suitable for both dogs and cats. There’s never anything sharp or dangerous or in the way on the tidy floor of my house, making it the perfect place for your pet to roll around or play-fight, or just to rest after we’ve walked, played, cuddled, trained.. whatever your pet wants:)

About: I LOVE animals! I have always been an animal lover from a very young age and have had dogs in my home! I love both cats and dogs and am a very respectful, responsible young lady who understands the stress when going away to find someone you feel comfortable and happy with in your home! I have a sprokerpoo called Ernie, and we’ve recently had this issue! I work from home with my own business in social media management, so I thought why not offer pet sitting and other services! I also have qualifications in teaching and elderly care so I am an overall compassionate and loving person! As I work from home (or anywhere with internet) I can virtually be free most of the time to pet sit! I drive and am happy to travel to you for petrol fees! If anyone has any questions you can always message! I am very eager to meet, play with and love your pets just as much as you do 🤍 I work for myself, so I choose my own hours! If you have internet in your home (if I’m house sitting) your pet friends will have a companion all day everyday for as long as you need! Working from home means I have availability to walk and drop in to see your little darlings too! In my home, I have a fully enclosed garden and have to make sure everything is put away! (Shoes are my puppy’s favourite!) I am very aware of my surroundings with my dog and what is safe for him to eat/not eat! I work full time for myself from home so this allows me a large amount of flexibility regarding my routine. This is a huge benefit to pet owners I help as I can work around your schedule/your pets schedule at ease! If I have any work calls whilst at your home I will let you know timings in advance, but this will not impact your pet sitting/daycare experience in any way! If your pet is coming to my home. He/she will be safe at all times. I won’t leave your pet if that’s what you require and make sure they are safe and well looked after at all times!

Maggie thoroughly enjoyed her stay with Kirsty and family. They took excellent care of her and we are looking forward to her being able to visit with them again in the not too distant future. Thanks Kirsty x

Francisco is a very nice person and he is ver y experienced with dogs. In our meet & greet, he asked a lot of questions about our dogs care routine, habits and health. (all the important things to know) His dog Brunty is very friendly and Floki had his best time at Francisco's apartment. We already have another stay booked. I am very happy with his experience level and professionalism.

Helen was fab with my dog Dora and I didn’t have to worry about her at all while we were away. We got regular updates with photos and Dora was kept busy and happy. Dora is on a couple of medications and these were all administered with no problem. Would definitely book again and highly recommend.

Laura and Fraser were fantastic with Rufus. We met them before Rufus stayed at theirs, and we could see straight away how comfortable and confident they were with him. Communication was regular and informative and gave us great peace of mind during his stay. Have already booked his next 'holiday'! Highly recommended.

We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter for Obi while we were away for our wedding. From the moment they met, Obi (who is usually quite nervous around new people) took to Fran immediately, which gave us so much confidence. Throughout the two nights, Fran kept us updated with lovely photos and messages, which really put my mind at ease and meant we could relax and enjoy our special day knowing he was in such caring hands. It was clear that Obi was happy, well looked after and genuinely cared for. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fran to anyone looking for a kind, reliable and trustworthy dog sitter. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our boy!

About: I got my first dog when I was 12 and have never been without one since then! I often look after friend’s and families dogs. I work from home so have all day to devote to looking after your dogs. Very happy to have dogs for a day or overnight. I have a fenced garden, and long and short walks from my door step. I have a sweet female golden retriever who loves all dogs.

Nick and his family looked after our boys so well. We got a lot of pictures while we were away of them on adventures, whether it was on a woodland walk, cuddles in the house or playing ball in an enclosed field so they could be off the lead. It looked like the boys enjoyed their holiday too!
