The first person we saw on here was Barbara who instantly felt would be a good match for our little Bertie and had high hopes. When Barbara invited us to come and meet her any hesitancy instantly disappeared and definitely had no concerns about leaving him. You just know when someone is a doggy person or not and could just sense any dog left in Barbara’s care would certainly be well looked after. When collecting him yesterday, I felt he enjoyed himself that much that he didn’t want to leave. I am so happy that Bertie has had a great stay and been very well looked after and have no doubts at all that Barbara is the perfect person to look after our Bertie. Just looking at dates when he can stay again and the only downside to all these good reviews is she will get booked up even quicker!”

We have a large enclosed garden with the door that is usually always open for free play inside or outside. I’m currently setting up my own business so I am home all day every day so am around for your dog to have company all the time. I have a large fenced in garden and live near a large field where lots of people take their dogs for walks. I have space to be able to crate dogs if needed.

About: I love dogs and have had dogs in my life and now have one of my own, I tend to think of them before me :) I love the walks and understand puppys and how they need confidence boosts and love! As well as a little discipline, saying that if it is a pup under a year old Il happily take on your training needs if there are specific things and words you have been using. About: I have 1 gorgeous Goldador at home.I have experience with newborn puppies as my parents oldest dog has had 2 litters (1st with 10 puppies (1 of them is my fur baby!) and 2nd with 7) so I am capable of looking after lots of dogs at a time and can handle stressful situations. All of my dogs are active at and when at home I take them on long walks daily and make sure they are mentally stimulated. Both of them are very well behaved and I trained them myself and to a very high standard (can do a variety of tricks). I love dogs all shapes and sizes and can easily adapt to any situation. I look forward to meeting your dog and hopefully they will become my new best friend!! About: Iv lived with animals all my life, grew up on a farm and have a passion for working with all types of furry friends! I have also been lucky enough to train my dogs, either from a pup or once rescued from all Sorts of backgrounds. I work closely with local rescue centres and have fostered, rehabilitated and trained some very beautiful and loving pooches. I absolutely love dogs, and working from home means I can dedicate plenty of time, care, and attention to them throughout the day. I previously had a much-loved medium-sized dog who was truly part of the family, so I understand just how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. Although she’s no longer with me, my home is still very much set up with dogs in mind. I offer two daily walks, lots of companionship, and access to my small but secure, dog-friendly garden. Your pet would be welcomed warmly, treated with genuine affection, and cared for as if they were one of my own during their stay. My garden is fully fenced and completely safe. I have gates up in the home and doors to block and exits (just in case anyone tries to make a break for it)

About: I’ve worked in animal rescue so I’m very used to a wide variety of dogs, breed and size. Also worked with a variety of needs also. I have my own dogs. One since a pup who was challenging and then became reactive. She is doing amazing now! And I have a foreign rescue who posed many opposite challenges so I’m able to adapt to the dogs needs. I have ten years experience in the nhs but I’m looking at going into a career with dogs now. It’s my main passion. I’ve been told I’m very calm and patient with dogs which draws many dogs to me. I have attended all sorts of workshops and classes with my own dogs including: puppy/adolescent classes, trick training, parkour, scentwork, mantrailing, barnhunt, Canicross, paddle boarding, agility and hoopers to name a few. I try and include things I think your dog may enjoy on our walks. I have completed many online courses from canine first aid, canine body language and behaviour and dog walking. I have also spent a lot of time observing behaviourists, trainers, walkers, vets, vet nurses, hydrotherapists and physios to gain as much knowledge and experience as I can. I’m currently doing odd bits of work with dogs including training/behaviour work with supervision and hydrotherapy/physio assistant work. So my diary is currently very flexible. I know lots of local walks and I’m very used to finding quieter walks if that’s what a dog needs. I also know good busier areas for bits of dog training depending on the dogs requirements. I also live on private land with some secure fields so that is an option also.

About: I raised my 5 year old cocker spaniel, who loves ditch-the-bowl training. I'm a freelance outdoor instructor offering stimulating, long winter walks with new scents to enrich happy dogs. My two dogs enjoy morning and evening walks. With the garden always open, I provide 1-2 long weekday walks and adventurous weekend outings away from Sherborne. My garden is fenced, so they cannot escape. My two dogs will keep your dog company who are both very friendly and are used to other dogs staying. If they were to travel in the van I have seat belt clips, clips and a crate in the rear. I have a crate if your dog needs it's own space in the house too (Rusty sleeps under the stairs and Indi can sleep in our bedroom, so your dog can either sleep in the kitchen or living room). If you needed me to stay at your house, then I don't have to bring my dogs as my partner also works from home. We love dogs! We don't have children so they get a lot of fuss. I tend to use kibble/treats on their first walk with a retractable lead, to get a sense of recall and connection with the dog.

I like nothing better than to be out in the fresh air normally accompanied by my gorgeous Viszla. I am currently not working so am at home and free all day. I work full time for myself from home so this allows me a large amount of flexibility regarding my routine. This is a huge benefit to pet owners I help as I can work around your schedule/your pets schedule at ease! If I have any work calls whilst at your home I will let you know timings in advance, but this will not impact your pet sitting/daycare experience in any way! If your pet is coming to my home. He/she will be safe at all times. I won’t leave your pet if that’s what you require and make sure they are safe and well looked after at all times!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a while, i’m patient and will understand any needs you may described from me. From Tibetan Terriers to Rottweilers. I currently work 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday. So early morning or late afternoon suits me best and any time on the weekends i’m easy going really. She listened well as there were a few specific instructions. Everything went well and Willow hadn’t been stressed, which I can always tell. Willow is reactive and this happened a couple of times but Ella wasn’t phased by this at all. Ella turned up on time on both occasions. About: I have 1 gorgeous Goldador at home.I have experience with newborn puppies as my parents oldest dog has had 2 litters (1st with 10 puppies (1 of them is my fur baby!) and 2nd with 7) so I am capable of looking after lots of dogs at a time and can handle stressful situations. All of my dogs are active at and when at home I take them on long walks daily and make sure they are mentally stimulated. Both of them are very well behaved and I trained them myself and to a very high standard (can do a variety of tricks). I love dogs all shapes and sizes and can easily adapt to any situation.
