About: Having recently retired from the Fire and Rescue Service after more than 35 years of dedicated service as a Fire Investigation Officer and Specialist Search Dog Handler, I am now offering reliable, professional 24/7 pet sitting services. I live in the heart of the New Forest, where I spend every day exercising and enjoying the outdoors with my two retired Fire Service dogs, who are now much-loved family pets. As a lifelong dog owner with over 20 years’ experience training and handling dogs alongside both the Fire and Police Services, I understand the highest standards of canine care, welfare, and behaviour. For your pet’s comfort and safety, I have a purpose-built K9 transport vehicle and am fully trained in K9 First Aid. Whether you need overnight care, extended pet sitting, or regular companionship for your dog, you can be confident they will receive experienced, compassionate, and professional care in a safe and trusted environment. Having retired from the fire service and being the owner of 2 pet dogs living in the heart of the New Forest I spend every day out and about in the fresh air with my beloved k9 companions. I live in a detached property within a quiet area of Fordingbridge with an enclosed front and rear garden covered by cctv. I have access to lots of nearby walks and can access the New Forest within 5 mins from my home address.

“Thank you so much for looking after our dogs, kept us updated with photos which was so lovely to see how happy & safe they were with such lovely people. (maybe too happy as scooby stole the last bit of your dinner 🤦🏻♀️) they even took them on a walk as well which is much appreciated. Can’t thank enough🐾”

“Jill was excellent and very understanding of our dog's needs, as he is an older boy at 15 tears old. Jill made Buster feel very welcome and loved and I would have no hesitation in recommending her services”

“Hanna and her family were lovely, caring and just simply awesome!! Diamond would definitely, 100% love to stay again and is already missing his new best friend Rocky!! Thanks so much for taking such great care of him.”

I'll absolutely be booking with her again!”

“Andy's awesome at what he does. I left Dukey with him for a week and then again for a night, lots of cuddles and updates throughout the day. He also makes sure to provide reassurance where needed instead of making it a panic situation overall if your pet feels a bit off, will definitely book again for Dukey!!”

“Absolutely fantastic! Karen is clearly very good at reading dogs and puts a lot of effort into making sure they are settled and happy. She understood my dog completely and Pixie's behaviour when I collected her told me everything I needed to know; she was happy and relaxed. Great with a small dog and a very safe home environment. Also brilliant communication with me throughout, she really listened and took on board information as well as giving great feedback on collection.”

“Sophie was able to help out last minute after being let down. From start to finish the whole experience was great. Replies were prompt, with fair prices and I was very happy with the way Odin settled in straight away. I was kept up to date with check ins over the booking period and would friendly has again when needed.”
“Our 2 year old golden retriever Monty had the best time with Monica and her partner! We couldn’t have asked for better dog sitters, they are both so friendly, caring and kept us updated all the time with pictures which we loved! They obviously both really love dogs too and their house is kitted out perfectly. Monica really looked after Monty and we are so appreciative of how safe she made him feel. We will definitely be using Monica again! Thank you so much ☺️”

“Rachel has been amazing with our old lady Cookie. She sent twice daily updates and photos and clearly Cookie loved her. Loved hearing about her on the updates, it made it feel very personal and special. Our plants watered and even fed our birds and squirrels in the garden. It's been a godsend to be able to go away and not worry about leaving her. Thank you Rachel 🥰”

About: I have been pet and house sitting part-time since 2016, and in February 2023 started doing it full-time. I have looked after a number of cats, including a 4-month-old excitable and loving kitten, through to a very elderly cat requiring administration of oral medication. Also, I have looked after a variety of both indoor and outdoor cats. I ensure I understand the needs of the cat(s) I am looking after and follow their routines closely, to give consistency. I understand the importance of a cat staying clean and clean their litter trays regularly to help with this. Where the cats require some play time, I am able to provide this, as well as snuggles for those more loving felines.

About: I have grown up with barn cats, and now have 4 of them. 3 Bengals and our barn cat. I love being around cats of all shapes and sizes I have been around them my whole life. I have looked after a couple of friends cats, 1 being indoors and the other being a rescue.

About: As part of my house sitting, I've looked after many cats of different breeds and ages, I'm not really one to just pick up your cat, I tend to let them come to me. I'm unusually warm to the touch (so I'm told by humans) and the cats love it, once they settle on my lap, they tend to stay there. One sit in the summer of 2026 even had a cat called Lily with it's own Insta account.

“Rachelle was super lovely, our lovely kitty was well looked after with lots of treats and brushes. We booked with Rochelle last minute after being let down by a friend and she was very accommodating. It was nice to come home to a clean litter tray and and a happy cat. 100% recommend, it was lovely to get daily videos and pictures :)”

“We are very grateful to the lovely Venezia for taking care of our spicy chihuahua Ghost at very short notice. She was so friendly at our meet and greet and put us all at ease.Ghost can be nervous around new people but took quickly to her warm and patient personality, she really took the time to understand his needs and quirks. It was so nice seeing their bond develop through her regular updates and photos of Ghost happy playing and relaxed. She also looked after our birds too and did a fantastic job. Venezia is proffesional, friendly, trustworthy and definately hope to book with her again when we go away. Thankyou 💚”

“Klaudia was fantastic! She took great care of my two kitties while we were on holiday, sending me messages and pictures to let me know they were doing well. I felt very comfortable that they were in safe hands, and I will definitely be asking Klaudia to watch them again!”

“Ellie was a great help to us checking in for feeding and letting our pets out the house while we were away. She kindly came round to meet us before and see where everything was kept etc. She is clearly very experienced and confident with all aspects of animal care and I would highly recommend her. Her communication was good and she was prepared to step in with further help should our flight had been delayed by snow and bad weather. Thanks Ellie!”

“Lorrin is extremely professional and responds very quickly to messages on Rover. She was very accommodating when I had to change a time. My cat loves her and she sends amazing pics and updates to set My mind at rest. Would wholeheartedly recommend.”

“Thank you so much! Abbey and Owen have a great dog friendly house and know what dogs need to keep them happy. My older Jack Russell stayed for two days (day care) while I was at the New Forest Show. Good luck on travels. Will look to rebook on your return.”

Alexis keeps us well informed throughout the day of what Jaffa has been up to with pictures and what their walks looks like. She also listens to all our routines and asks and is very flexible with timings due to work commitments. We will 100% be using Alexis in future, thanks so much for your help so far :)”

About: I’ve had dogs throughout my life and have always loved caring for them. We’ve regularly looked after friends’ dogs, and we also have our own friendly dog, Milo, who is 6 years old. We’re a warm, friendly family with 2 children who absolutely love dogs. We live close to the River Stour Nature Reserve, with plenty of lovely walking routes nearby and lots of opportunities for dogs who enjoy a splash in the river! We’re happy to welcome friendly, well-socialised dogs into our home and will make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, exercise and cuddles while they’re staying with us. # Daily Routine Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. My husband works from home full-time, and I also work from home on some days, so there is almost always someone at home with the dogs. This means they will have plenty of company, attention and supervision throughout the day. We’re able to provide two walks each day, with plenty of outdoor time and exercise. We’re also happy to follow each dog’s individual feeding schedule and routine, so they can feel comfortable and settled while staying with us. # Safety, Trust & Environment We have a secure, fully fenced home where dogs can relax and feel safe. Our own dog, Milo, is friendly and can provide company for your furry friend, while we always make sure introductions are done carefully and at the dogs’ own pace. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine and any specific safety requirements. If your dog is comfortable with a crate, I can provide crating when required. For walks, dogs will only be allowed off lead if they have a reliable recall and you are happy for them to do so. Otherwise, they will remain on lead, or can enjoy off-lead time in a secure enclosed area. We live close to the River Stour, so for dogs who enjoy swimming and are confident around water, we can offer the opportunity for a supervised dip. Their safety and comfort will always come first.
