Hi there! I'm a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for pups of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I grew up with a sweet Australian Silky Terrier who was part of my life for 15 wonderful years, and ever since, dogs have held a special place in my heart. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of sitting for a wide variety of breeds—from playful Jack Russells and gentle Cavaliers to energetic Beagles and affectionate Staffies. I’m confident handling everything from tiny lap dogs to larger, stronger breeds, including mixed-breed pups with unique quirks and needs. What sets me apart? I take the time to understand each dog's temperament and preferences—whether that means a peaceful cuddle session at home or an adventurous walk through scenic trails. Your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. Think of me as your dog’s second best friend (after you, of course)! I’m always happy to send regular photo updates and tailor walks and playtime to your pup’s individual energy level. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend soon!

Absolutely fantastic dog sitter - Joanne kept me updated about my dog throughout the weekend and sent photos and videos. He was super happy and tired when I picked him up. Joanne wasn’t phased by my dog being somewhat reactive to other dogs, and also managed his medication really easily. Thank you so much!

Penny stayed with Joanne and Phanos for a week. Penny has been to Joanne and Phanos for a week previously, and has stayed on single days quite a few times, so she knows them and she always comes back to us very happy. We received a lot of pupdates, throughout our holiday, so we were very confident that Penny was being well looked after, which meant we were able to relax and have a good time. I'd definitely recommend Joanne and Phanos to anyone and, of course, if our diaries align, we would happily use their services again ourselves.
As ever Joanne and Phanos have looked after Penny really well. We get very regular updates so we know she's being well looked after. When we pick her up she is in a good mood which is a sign she's had a good day. If Joanne and Phanos are free to take Penny then they're always people we'll go back to. Definitely recommend. Charlie had a wonderful time with Joanne and Phanos for just over a week. We received regular updates with photos throughout without ever having to ask. We felt comfortable that Charlie was happy and enjoying himself whilst we were away. We would definitely use Joanne and Phanos next time we go away and need help! :-)

Schedule
I work full-time with flexible working arrangements—mostly from home, and I only go into the office when required. I typically aim to take dogs out for a walk at least 3–4 times a day, depending on their age and preferences.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a terraced house with a lovely garden and nearby parks, which is where I usually take the dogs for walks. I also offer complimentary care services such as baths, teeth brushing, and ear and eye stain cleaning—because I want every dog to feel comfortable and well cared for during their stay. I make it a priority to maintain clear and regular communication with owners, so they can enjoy their holiday or trip with peace of mind.
A typical day
I absolutely love going on long walks with dogs—especially those who are great off-leash and have solid recall. Whether it's a game of fetch, a picnic in the park, or just running around the open fields together, we always find a fun way to enjoy the outdoors. Prospect Park is our go-to spot for fresh air, freedom, and plenty of tail-wagging adventures!
