Daily walks, feeding, playtime, and general care are just part of my normal routine back home and when I’m looking after friends and family dogs. I’m currently at university and i really miss being around dogs day-to-day, which is a big reason as to why I love dog care! I am flexible with timings and extremely reliable, also open to weekly arrangements.

I have also volunteered/worked with a puppy training school class twice a week for one summer, where I helped support basic training, socialisation, and good behaviour. This gave me experience working with dogs of different personalities and energy levels.

I love keeping dogs happy, stimulated, and active in ways that suit their personality and energy level. This includes fun, enriching walks (longer adventures for high-energy dogs and gentler strolls for calmer or older pups), playtime with their favourite toys, and lots of one-on-one attention. I’m also happy to include simple training reinforcement like practising sit, stay, recall, and loose-lead walking if that’s part of your dog’s routine. For dogs that enjoy mental stimulation, I’ll do puzzle toys, hide-and-seek with treats, and sniffing games!

Hello! I’m Amelie and I’ve been caring for dogs my whole life, I currently have two large dogs of my own, so I’m very comfortable handling big, strong breeds as well as smaller dogs too.

Amelie is a dedicated, extremely organised dog walker with a caring sensitivity to dogs of all sizes. She set up a pre-walk meet to put me and my hounds ant ease and noted all the personal needs of each of my large (30kg each) Labradoodles. This put me at ease too, as I had not left my dogs before with anyone. She was easily contactable, fast to respond and had excellent time keeping. I would highly recommend Amelie’s dog walking/ sitting services to anyone and will look to book her again.
Amelie is a natural with dogs. We have a fairy large shepherd but the get on great and Orka's always very happy to see Amelie. Amelie knows how to control and work with dogs and is aware of her environment and other dogs around her to ensure a safe and enjoyable walk for all. Always punctual and if not (due to poor business timing) is communicative and friendly.
I’m 100% impressed with Amelie and her ability and kindness looking after my very reactive French bulldog, she spent 10 days walking him and by the end he was a much calmer dog, I will definitely be asking her again! Punctual to the minute every day! Was a pleasure to get to know her, lovely person.
