About: I have taken care of dogs for friends and family for many years. Myself and my partner's families have always had dogs who are now sadly not with us and would be delighted to help other's with caring for their pets from holidays to unexpected busy schedules. Whether it's a holiday stay or single day, they are guaranteed to be utterly adored and treated like family. My experience has included looking after younger dogs with boundless energy, taking care of senior dogs who have very limited mobility, lumps and bumps, dementia and specialised diets and medications for various conditions. I have also cared for nervous dogs who need a little extra care and attention to build a trusting relationship. Additionally, I have taken care of dogs with medical conditions such as diabetes and administered insulin injections. Ultimately, your pet will be provided with the same level of attentive, stress-free care that I’d want for my own pets, leaving you completely at ease while you're away. I work full-time (7:30- 15:30 most days), but because four of those days are spent working from home, your pet will have plenty of companionship and regular toilet breaks throughout the day. I am available on weekends am incredibly flexible when it comes to accommodating your timing and routine. I’m always happy to adjust my schedule to make things as seamless and stress-free for you and your pet as possible! Your pet’s safety and comfort are the top priority. I maintain a clean, tidy, and pet-safe home environment where your furry family member can relax completely. Outside, I have a spacious, fully fenced grass garden that is perfect for secure playtime, zoomies, and safe outdoor exploration. Leaving you with total peace of mind knowing your pet is in a secure, loving, and hygienic space.
“Pavla took care of Kevin very well, it was the first time of many others already booked. Thank you Pavla for your patience and dedication. Can't wait to see this relationship between you and Kevin grow.”

“Lauren was extremely accommodating, responding to my last minute booking. She quickly got up to speed with mine and my cats requirements putting my mind at ease. I loved receiving the updates and adorable photos showing how my cat was getting along! Thank you Lauren, Jet and I look forward to booking with you again soon!”

“Kerry is exceptionally reliable and communicative. Did everything we asked for and more. We were a bit worried about leaving our cats but she gave us updates every time she visited and this really helped to put us at ease. I know they had a much better experience this time compared to when we’ve put them in a cattery. Can’t thank her enough! 😻”

“This is the first time I've used rover.com & Tonie. When we met for the first time Tonie put me at ease & I knew Tonie was a good fit for Skye. This would be the first time I've left my dog Skye overnight. I received plenty of photos, videos & updates throughout the two days I was away. Maison, Tonie's son helped with the visits & you can clearly see from the numerous photos Skye was smitten with her new best friend. Tonie & Maison are true gems & I will be using Tonie's dog sitting & boarding services again. If you are reading this review & you require a dog sitting sevice I highly recommend you get in touch with Tonie.”

About: Hi, I'm Davina! I've grown up around a variety of animals, particularly dogs, and have been caring for friends' and family members' dogs since I was 18. My experience includes overnight stays in owners' homes, daytime drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of cuddles. I've cared for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to larger dogs. Growing up, my grandad had a beautiful Siberian Husky who sparked my love of dogs, and I spent many happy hours helping to look after and play with him. While I don't currently have a dog of my own, it's something I hope to do in the future when I have a home with a garden. For now, I enjoy spending time with other people's pups and ensuring they receive the same care, attention, and affection they get from their families. I currently work Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm, which means I'm available for evening walks/ drop-in visits during the week. I'm also available on weekends for walks, drop-ins or overnight stays. If you have any special requests, please feel free to ask! Every visit is tailored to your dog's needs and can include feeding, fresh water, playtime, cuddles, toilet breaks, medication administration (if required), and any other requests you may have. My priority is making sure both you and your dog feel comfortable, happy, and reassured. I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can feel daunting, so I aim to provide a caring, reliable service that helps maintain your dog's normal routine and gives you complete peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! Currently Friday to Sunday are most convenient for me. Evenings are also possible as I am out working during the day and home/ available from 6pm. I am in a ground floor apartment with communal grounds. I live right near a beautiful park/ field where I walk daily of an evening.

About: As someone who uses Rover for our own dogs, I completely understand how daunting it can feel to leave your dog with someone new. We truly get it and are here to make the experience as reassuring and positive as possible. I started looking after dogs because they bring a kind of purity and simplicity to life that is hard to find elsewhere. It's a kind of love that can be communicated without the exchange of words or fancy gifts. In their own quiet way, dogs give us everything - muddy paws on clean floors, unwavering loyalty, and a love that asks for no words at all. We share our life with our two gorgeous Beagles, Basil and Rufus, who are full of mischief, full of heart and never far from our side. They are Father & Son but also best friends (and partners in crime). When they meet your dog, they might howl when they first see them (classic Beagles) but once they sniff they are all good after a few minutes. They are unphased by new dogs coming into their home, and are more than happy to share beds and space. They are used to this and not territorial. Myself and my partner Cam have both grown up in homes with dogs (more specifically Spaniels), and caring for them has always been a natural part of our lives. As both of our dogs were rescues, we have worked through challenges with separation anxiety and nervousness with time, patience and consistency. Additionally, my sister has a reactive Frenchie, which has given us further insight into the needs of nervous or reactive dogs. Because of these experiences, we genuinely understand how to support anxious or reactive dogs, tailoring our approach to suit each individual’s unique personality. Schedule We both work from home full-time, so dogs are a core part of our daily routine. Our two are always by our side - whether we’re working, relaxing, or out in the garden. We are used to providing structure, enrichment and plenty of company throughout the day with lots of nice places close by to exercise. We occasionally pop out without them, but it’s rare and never for long (much to their delight) because they have separation anxiety. Safety, trust & enrichment We have a very "dog proof"/"Beagle proof" home as our two can be mischievous at times. When our own dogs go to a sitter, safety is always at the top of our minds. That’s exactly the same approach we take with every dog we look after. Our home has a fully fenced garden that’s safe for play and exploration, and we carefully supervise all interactions between dogs to keep things calm and stress-free.
About: I have taken care of a couple of friends and families dogs in the past whilst the owners have gone away for a couple of days and I am planning on working on extending my care experience on Rover which I joined last year and have had a few bookings so far and absolutely love looking after other peoples furbabies. I get on well with any dog and I love taking dogs out for walks and spoiling them with treats and cuddles too. I have also grown up being around dogs my whole life and I absolutely adore dogs and love them no matter the size or breed. I grew up with medium and large sized dogs but I am more than happy to look after any size/breed dog. I currently work part time seasonal and am quite flexible so I can easily fit in a daily or weekly routine. I will still be available for bookings when I do go return to work. All dog boarding requests will require a meet and greet between my dog and yours to make sure they are both happy and comfortable around each other even though my dog is super friendly. Any further questions please feel free to message me and I would really appreciate it if you do reply to my messages too and don’t leave them on read. Thank you ☺️ I have a large fenced garden and own 1 rescue dog which is a large dog she is 7 years old and is a dogue de’bordeaux staffy mix but very friendly. Meet and Greets will be required for my dog and your dog for any dog boarding bookings to make sure they are both happy and comfortable with each other 🐾
“Jordan did an amazing job at looking after my cat whilst I was away with daily updates and photos etc. Very professional and I have already asked if she would kindly look after my pet again next year. Thank you Jordan, muchly appreciated.”

Kerry was brilliant with both Gus & Coco, she gave me detailed updates even letting me know that the garden hose was leaking! Gus & Coco enjoyed her visits - they looked very relaxed in all of the pictures she sent, which was great as Coco can be more wary of new people. It was lovely to go away and know that they were both so well looked after. I would highly recommend her and will book again when we’re away again.

Shaq and Jennifer were absolutely superb, looking after our two cats at short notice. Just two wonderful, friendly people who clearly love animals and bonded with the cats immediately. They sent lots of lovely photos, and it was so nice to be able to go away and not worry. Got home and the cats were happy and chilled (so chilled that all I got was a raised head and a look of "well we've had a lovely weekend.... were you away or something?") Will definitely use again and recommend unequivocally. Thanks both.
Thank you so so much for looking after our little Krissy cat whilst we were on holiday! Gave us such peace of mind having Gemma visiting twice a day whilst we were away with lots of little updates and photos 😊. A lovely, friendly, reliable cat sitter- would highly recommend Gemma to look after your fur babies and will definitely be requesting her again. Thank you very much for looking after our little sassy princess 🐈⬛ 🩷

Kerry looked after our boy Teddy whilst we had a short break away in Europe. She kept us updated whilst we were away with photos and bonded well with him over brushing, treats and fusses. Kerry has a similar breed of cat herself so she was well used to the personality type of our BSH and by day 2 they were best pals! Thank you for looking after him so well. He was happy and content when we got back and it always gives us peace of mind when we go away. Pending availability, we will happily use you again in the future. xx

Sophie is such a brilliant cat sitter. We felt very reassured leaving our 2 young cats for the day with her, and she sent us lots of photos and pictures from her two visits with excellent communication. Our cats really liked Sophie too and we got to enjoy a nice day out without worry. Highly recommend!

Marina was fantastic with my girls. She was patient and kind. I felt so much happier knowing they were being looked after so well and the updates put me at ease! Marina also respected my home and made the entire time so stress free. A fabulous and kind woman!

Emily is a lovely and professional person. She dropped in on Cookie a couple of times and everything was perfect. She was accommodating, provided updates and gave me a peace of mind that Cookie was in good hands. I definitely would recommend her and will use her services in the future.

Ivy absolutely loved Dawn! So much so, I think she wants me to move out and Dawn to take over. Either that or she’s not happy I went away. Dawn kept me fully informed everyday and sent me loads of lovely pictures and videos. All requests followed and Dawn is very thorough on the detail. Ivy seemed very happy and when I got home last night, she hadn’t missed me one tiny bit.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
