About: I have taken care of dogs for friends and family for many years. Myself and my partner's families have always had dogs who are now sadly not with us and would be delighted to help other's with caring for their pets from holidays to unexpected busy schedules. About: I have taken care of a couple of friends and families dogs in the past whilst the owners have gone away for a couple of days and I am planning on working on extending my care experience on Rover which I joined last year and have had a few bookings so far and absolutely love looking after other peoples furbabies. I get on well with any dog and I love taking dogs out for walks and spoiling them with treats and cuddles too. I have also grown up being around dogs my whole life and I absolutely adore dogs and love them no matter the size or breed. I grew up with medium and large sized dogs but I am more than happy to look after any size/breed dog. About: I own a large dog with epilepsy for nearly 14 years and have loved taking care of him. I understand that pets can feel stressed and nervous when their owners aren’t with them so I understand wanting to have someone look after them, or take them on long walks to give an enjoyable and fun experience. Although I don’t have much professional experience, I have looked after pets for family whenever I could. About: We've had dogs our whole lives of all species including a beagle, akita, lurcher, pugs, labrador and now as adults we have one greyhound called Paul who is a very relaxed and lazy boy As a young person i volunteered at my local animal sanctuary, and growing up each of my dogs has been a rescue which has given me a lot of hands on experience with all kinds of dogs. My most recent dog Paul is an ex-racer greyhound who when we first had him couldn't be left alone and had reactivity to some dogs but with lots of time and training has fully settled down and become a very friendly boy. I am very confident that i would be able to take greay care of your pet and give them everything they may need I work shifts as a firefighter so i have 4 days of every 8 off which gives me plenty of flexibility for your pets needs I have one 8 year old greyhound, and a fully fenced garden, i also live close to South Hill Park and Swinley forest for some good walks and your pet will be comfortable in our home with space for their own bed and free access to the sofa

Our flat has a spacious, private terrace—about the size of a standard garden—fully fenced, giving dogs plenty of space to roam safely. For cats, we can keep the terrace door closed or accompany them outside on a cat lead. We don’t have any pets of our own, so there’s no conflict, your pets get all our attention :)

Kerry was absolutely amazing with Stella and cared for her as if she were her own. Stella is a rescue cat who loves spending time outdoors, so we always worry a little when we’re away. Kerry kept us updated after every visit and let us know if she hadn’t seen Stella. If it had been over a day since she’d last seen her, Kerry even went out looking for her, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. Stella can be quite wary of new people, but Kerry clearly has a real gift with cats. Whenever Stella was home, Kerry sent us lovely photos and videos of them together, and it was wonderful to see Stella so relaxed, enjoying fusses and happily showing affection back. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Kerry again—in fact, we’ve already rebooked her for a few weeks’ time. Shaq and Jennifer were absolutely superb, looking after our two cats at short notice. Just two wonderful, friendly people who clearly love animals and bonded with the cats immediately. Ivy absolutely loved Dawn! So much so, I think she wants me to move out and Dawn to take over. Either that or she’s not happy I went away. Dawn kept me fully informed everyday and sent me loads of lovely pictures and videos. All requests followed and Dawn is very thorough on the detail.
