If there is anything pet/house specific that I need to know before looking after your pet please do not hesitate to tell me or leave me written instructions, I know each pet is different. If I'm dog walking, I will be keeping them on the lead, not just for safety but also for piece of mind (a dog running off would be stress no one needs and I'm meant to be helping you not stressing you). If I'm coming in for convenience breaks (or popping in to see your cat) I will play with your pet to provide some stimulation, and only give snacks/ supervised play with food if you say it's ok. Please do show me where your bags/bin are so I can clear up once they've been in the garden... no one likes finding that with their shoe!!
Information Amy H. would like to know about your pet
I like to do a meet and greet for all new pets. If nothing else, I’m coming into your home and I feel it’s only fair you get to meet me first. Cat’s I’m pretty chill about, but if I’m taking your dog out for a walk, I want to get to know them and their temperament a bit to make sure the walk is safe and enjoyable for all (also, if there are any specific commands you use for your dog I’ll try to use the correct phrases for your dog)
A typical day
I love to play with pets, especially if it’s raining so they don’t want to go out, I like to ensure they are still physically and mentally stimulated. Or if I’m booked for a walk I balance walking with letting them have a sniff, after all, it is their walk.

Pet care experience
It started walking my friend's dogs once a week, that then snowballed over time and became house and dog sitting for a fortnight while they were away on holiday. After hearing about this, a friend of a friend then asked me to pop in and do the odd visit for her dog during the day if both of them needed to be out all day. I would love to have a dog of my own but I can't do that where I live, so I'm more than happy to help you out with your dog.

Thank you Amy for taking such loving care of our cherished pusscat Diago. Looking after my plants was a great help and also filling the bird bath for the local thirsty wood pigeons in this hot weather. Hope to see you again soon! xx

Amy is brilliant! I’m so happy to have found her on Rover. I never worry about leaving Bruce with her - he’s become so much more affectionate after leaving him with Amy - would definitely recommend ❤️
Amy as always was amazing at looking after my cats. Photos every day without fail and some very humorous stories about what the cats were doing. But also she went above and beyond and had to deal with various hunting results.

I had such a great experience with our cat sitter, Amy, over Christmas. Amy took amazing care of Bruce and it was so reassuring knowing he was in such good hands while we were away. The photo updates and little stories about what he’d been up to were honestly a highlight, it was lovely to see how happy and settled he was. You could really tell Amy understood his personality and behaviour, which meant a lot to me. I came home to a very content Brucie and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Amy to my family and freinds. I will definitely be booking again! Thanks Amy 🤩
