I’ve loved all animals for as long as I can remember, pestering my non-animal family mercilessly for pets as a child! I grew up with much loved pet mice and a lovely grumpy old horse, and as soon as I was able to, I got my first dog, a very energetic Weimaraner named Dexter. He was later followed by Stan the Man, a sweet and slightly quirky RSPCA rescue. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals, from guinea pigs and rabbits to cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes. I am pet first-aid trained, experienced in giving oral medication and insulin injections, and confident caring for older pets and playful puppies alike. I also hold an enhanced DBS check for your peace of mind. I love the outdoors and am always happy to take energetic dogs on long countryside walks, but I’m equally content keeping an older or more relaxed pet company at home. Working part-time remotely gives me the flexibility to devote plenty of time and attention to your pet, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

As a registered occupational therapist, I hold an enhanced DBS check and am professionally regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I bring that same level of trustworthiness, responsibility, and care to my work as a pet sitter. When house sitting, I’m clean, quiet, and respectful of your home, treating it with care as I would my own. I’ll follow your pet’s routine carefully and keep their environment calm and familiar. It’s a real privilege to spend time with animals and get to know their individual personalities. I’ll care for your pet just as you would, with love, patience, and attention to detail, so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re safe, content, and well looked after. I provide lots of photos and updates so you know exactly how they're doing throughout the stay.

Vivienne was wonderful and I couldn't recommend her highly enough. She was caring and knowledgeable with our dogs. She sent lots of lovely updates. It made being away from the dogs easier knowing they were in good hands. She stayed at our house for over a week. She left it pristine. We would absolutely use her again. Thank you so much.
Having Vivienne look after our boys in our home has been great and worry free. Vivienne's pre meeting really helped with any doubts about leaving the boys, they really settled with her in that meeting. Great regular comforting updates on them through the week, we returned home to settled boys which for us is a great sign they had a good time and very little disruption to their routines. House wise, It's like no one was here other than the garden looks well watered. We highly recommend Vivienne's services and hope she is available for our next holiday.

Vivienne was an absolutely wonderful dog sitter and we could not have been happier with the care she provided. From the moment we met her, she was warm, friendly and clearly very experienced with dogs, which immediately gave us confidence in leaving our dog in her care. I'm available for house and pet sitting, from overnight stays to longer bookings. That way your pet can happily maintain their own routine in their comfortable, familiar environment while you're away. (My dog stays at home with my husband, so your pet will have my undivided attention.)
