Pet care experience
Always looking out for man's best friend!
I’ve been looking after dogs since I was a kid and always having one around living in Australia - now that I have my own place I’m free to have dogs around again and have spent the last 2 years taking care of all sorts of dogs for my neighbours around my area. We have a great little doggo community where I live and I’ve got all the essentials (bed, bowl, leash, toys etc) for emergencies or if plans change and doggo suddenly needs to stay longer :)

I’ve had such a great experience with Dan! He’s reliable, friendly, and clearly genuinely cares about dogs. My dog is always so happy to see him and comes home from walks happy and well exercised. I always feel confident knowing my dog is in safe, caring hands. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dependable dog walker!
Dan was absolutely wonderful with Honey. She loved every walk with him, and it was clear she was happy and well cared for. We couldn’t have asked for better, and we’ll definitely be asking Dan for help again. Highly recommended!

Dan and his dog, Bryce are both very nice and for the most part, the day went well. However, from my experience, I would not ask Dan to look after our Rosie again. I went to collect her at the end of the day and found that Dan had left Rosie unsupervised for a period of time in his flat with his front door not closed and clearly not locked. I was able to gain access to the building and went up to his flat and knocked on the door several times with no answer. Although the door was clearly not closed and was unlocked, I still waited until I heard Rosie crying and distressed on the other side of the door. I pushed opened the door and found Rosie had been left alone. Rosie, who is only 4 months old and so precious and loved by my whole family like another member of our family could so easily have been stolen, lost, gone missing, been harmed or come to some serious harm all alone in his flat. Like me, anyone could have just walked off the street, gone into his building, up to his flat and taken, stolen or inflicted some harm to our Rosie. I waited 5 minutes and Dan still did not show up, so I took Rosie and went home. Dan later messaged me to apologise and explained that he had left Rosie alone so that he could go and feed some other dogs and take them out to the toilet. Dan is a very nice guy, his dog Bryce is calm and friendly, but I would never want to put Rosie’s welfare or life at risk by asking Dan to look after her again. The thought that something terrible could have happened to our Rosie due to Dan’s negligence still upsets and haunts me today.

I couldn't have asked for a better sitter, as a Rover first timer. Dan sent regular updates throughout the day, and really put me at ease with photos and videos of Aila clearly enjoying. She came home whacked, so had clearly had a great time with him! I have already booked Dan again for Aila in June!

Dan was great kept me updated with nice videos and photos. Very calm and decent guy. My pet was quite relaxed around Dan. Will definitely use Dan again.

Don’t think my own puppy loves us as much as he loves Uncle Dan… but jealous of that tbh! Dropping off Polo he automatically knows where he’s going and doesn’t even turn around to see me go as he races towards Dan, collection time he doesn’t want to leave Dan so I trust he has a blast all day? Dan is fabulous and I’m gutted he has to go back to the office more often he’s so gentle and chilled and absolutely loves Polo like his own baby xx

Schedule
I currently work from home 50% of the time so have pretty good availability. My office is dog friendly so taking in could be an option as long as they were comfortable with public transport to get there.

Safety, trust & environment
My building has a fenced communal garden for quick bathroom breaks and I live just a short walk from Minet Country Park for the more robust walks/playtime activities for doggo. I’m new to the Southall/Ealing area so looking forward to meeting some new human faces as well :)

A typical day
Staying with me is like visiting your cool uncle, I've got a basket full of squeaky toys that all doggos have access to when they arrive to choose their favourite for their visit. I'm new to my area so I love to go for a walk around the landscaped areas of my development and explore the streets on daily walks. Big open field near my flat where the doggos can really let loose and tire themselves out for the day :)
