Here to support all dog moms and dads!
Both James and myself have looked after and cared for our personal dogs for many years. This includes patiently and compassionately seeing them through their puppy stages as well as nursing elderly dogs with specific difficulties such as movement difficulties, specific dietary requirements as well as insulin injections and blood sugar readings. We are well versed in feeding and bathing dogs and we believe that every dog should have one outing every day. Please note that we do have a dog (Todd, who is pictured in most of our pictures). Todd is well socialised and happy to have a friend for the day or night, however, all Rover fury friends will need to be socialised!

Thank you so much Emily and James for taking such good care of Crumpet. Thank you in particular for being so calm and reassuring when I had to call you before she came to explain that she had just been to the vet as she had eaten something she should not have.
Emily was great with Woody and it was clear he settled in and really enjoyed his stay. He was also welcomed by Emily’s dog Todd. It was reassuring for us to be able to go away knowing that Woody was in safe hands
Emily looked after Ziggy with great care and he seemed extremely happy to be there. Would be happy to use Emily again in the future.
From the moment I met Emily and James (and Todd!), I knew our dog Frankie was in wonderful hands! Communication throughout was excellent, including regular photo and video updates, and they were flexible and accommodating of our drop off and pickup needs. Emily and James provided Frankie with the love and attention she needed in order to feel safe and relaxed In their home. We will not hesitate to contact Emily and James again when needing someone to look after our girl!

Schedule
James works from home full time and is looking for the perfect at home companion and friend for Todd. This means that he is available to play, feed and interact with any dogs all day. My daily schedule includes going for a walk or run after work and so any dog will be accommodated in terms of a daily outing. In addition, James and I have become accustomed to a lifestyle that includes a pet and so on weekends we are often outdoors and in pet friendly spaces or are at home enjoying some relaxation time. We are used to being very mindful about not leaving any fur children alone for too long.

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs are always the apple of our eyes and in our home this is no different. We believe that dogs need consistent interaction and company as well as a stable routine that they can rely on. We take our role as carers seriously and understand what it is to entrust someone with your fur child. At our home, dogs are welcomed onto beds, couches and laps. In addition, we do not believe in nor employ negative reinforcement such as punishment. We will only provide positive reinforcement and encouragement as we believe this is the most effective. Unfortunately, both James and I will struggle to crate your doggo as this is something we have never done. We want to be as social and interactive with your dog as possible!
Pets
A typical day
James works from home and will encourage lots of play time in the garden during breaks. At the end of the day or on weekend mornings both of us like to take a walk to one of the local parks where we can allow any dogs new sniffs and playtime in the park.
