Hi, I’m Jamie! I’m a lifelong dog lover with 6 years of hands-on experience raising and training my own Rottsky, Freya, who I’ve had since she was just 9 weeks old. She’s a big, gentle soul and living with her has given me a deep understanding of dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. Over the past 3 years I’ve also provided dog-walking and sitting for friends, neighbours, and local owners. I know how important it is for you to feel your dog is in safe, capable hands — and I always treat every dog like my own. I live right by a fantastic open space that’s popular with local walkers, and I can adapt walks to suit your dog’s energy level, whether it’s a calm stroll or a good run-around. Your dog’s happiness, safety, and well-being always come first — and I’ll keep you updated with photos and notes after every walk :)

Don’t think anything I say will be enough to give Jamie the credit he deserves! He took our 7 month old (ENERGETIC) lab puppy on pretty short notice, the communication from the get go was 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼. Jamie clearly knows what he’s doing, and it’s pretty obvious he has a real passion for dogs. I got so many updates which I really appreciated and Kodi had the BEST time! Jamie’s own dog Freya was just lovely, I had no worries leaving Kodi and appreciate he had a doggy friend to show him the way. I would recommend Jamie over and over, thank you so much! 😊

Schedule
I mostly work from home trading and running my businesses, and I also teach martial arts from home, so I’m around throughout the day. This gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for dogs. On weekdays I’m available for morning walks between 8am and 12pm, as well as later in the afternoon and evenings from around 4–5pm onward. At weekends I can be fully flexible, with availability across the whole day. Because my routine is home-based, I can reliably fit pet care into my week without last-minute conflicts, and I enjoy the balance it brings to my day. Walks, drop-ins, and overnight sits slot naturally into my lifestyle — and I always make sure each dog gets my full attention.

Safety, trust & environment
In an owner’s home, I stick to your pet’s normal routine so they feel relaxed — feeding, fresh water, playtime, toilet breaks, and any special instructions. On walks, dogs are always on-lead unless you’ve given written consent for a safe, enclosed space. I bring spare leads, water, and treats (if allowed) to keep things smooth and enjoyable. For overnight sits, I follow your evening and morning routine while Freya and I keep your dog in company and comfort. I’ll also send photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re happy and cared for. I treat every dog as if they were my own — safe, happy, and well looked after.
Pets
A typical day
The garden is big enough for them to have their "zoomy" sessions, as well as chuck some toys up and down. I take my own dog for 2-3 walks a day, through the open fields as well as woodlands - she is very good off the lead so get's plenty of stimulation and smelling time, though of course when I see other dog's on lead I recall and leash her out of consideration, as you never know if someone's dog is just nervous or in training etc. With other dog's I follow strict owner-preferences regarding leading and un-leading dog's.
