Dog lover since the 90’s
At the age of 8 I had my first dog, an English Springer Spaniel and continued to have dogs until just a few years ago when my last beloved passed away. I have loved and cared for dogs nearly my entire life including puppies and senior dogs. I hand reared 5 orphaned puppies and raised them to adulthood. I have vast experience with large breed dogs with mine having been German Shepherd and Dogue De Bordeaux Mastiff crosses. I have experience with administering medication and muzzle training with reward based training.

Maria looked after Rolo, our King Charles spaniel for a few days, whilst we were away. Maria sent photos daily and kept us updated. Rolo looked incredibly happy and relaxed and I wouldn’t hesitate to use Maria’s services again. She has a lot of experience with dogs and is a natural.
I’ve known Maria as a close family friend for the past 3 years, and she’s one of the most caring and trustworthy people I know. She’s incredibly passionate about animals and has always been so relaxed, understanding, and welcoming with my 9-year-old temperamental sausage dog, who can be quite particular around people. What really stands out is how proactive and thoughtful she is about his needs, especially since his back surgery. She’s always mindful of keeping him comfortable and safe, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about the wellbeing of every animal she looks after. Maria is kind, dependable, and naturally great with both pets and people, so I have no doubt she would provide safe, loving care and excellent customer service.
While we were away on holiday, our little Pepper had a wonderful 2 week stay with Maria. We were frequently updated with the cutest, loveliest photos - Pepper enjoying the garden, going for walkies, snoozing in the living room - it was clear that she was very comfortable and well looked after. We felt we could trust Maria completely when taking Pepper out and about for walks around the local parks and woodland. Maria has a positive and joyous nature, she is professional, reliable, and I would not hesitate to recommend her services.

Dates de la garde
If doggy day care is required, your dog will receive 2 walks within the day. I am at home daily and my child will be at school weekdays, so your dog will have my undivided attention. If overnight boarding is booked I will provide up to 3 walks per day. I will generally only need to be out briefly for school runs and groceries during weekdays. I have a good sized fenced garden with lawn and I live right beside a park.

Do let me know what your dog likes and dislikes regarding walks. Are they reward based trained? (treat trained). Do they react to other dogs, cats or people? I live with my child and husband so it is essential that the dog is calm and not reactive if they are to be boarded in my home. Meeting a dog beforehand must be arranged.

I will treat your beloved dog as my own and will be mindful of their individual needs. Always making sure they have fresh water topped up and spending lots of time together both indoors and outdoors. We will play, and I’ll show them lots of affection. I will walk them with confidence and care. They will be treated as part of my family.
