Fun loving, reliable and trustworthy individual
Ever since i was little girl, I've always loved and cared for animals and would often bring home stray cats and dogs to my parents dismay. Growing up, our family dog would be my confidante, best friend and a play date. I am that typical individual that would melt at a sight of a pet. I live in a flat on the 2nd floor. Unsuitable for a pet, but i am surrounded by friends and family who own cats, dogs and hamsters. So not short of company ; ) During lockdown, it has highlighted the importance of caring for oneself and to surround yourself with what makes you happy, which led me to request sabbatical leave for 3 months and give myself a slower pace of life. Over the years, i have pet/house sat for friends, but this is my first time to register and become an official pet/house sitter. I understand how daunting it may be to leave your cherished family member and home behind and so i just want to reassure you that they will be spoilt with love, fun, and lots of cuddles. I'm also more than happy to meet via video, in person or have a chat over the phone, as I know that this type of decision isn't an easy one to make. Look forward to hearing from you : )

Jo is one of the kindest, most accommodating and flexible people I’ve ever trusted with my pets. Not only does she walk my dog with so much care — taking slow, shaded routes on hot days and always making sure she has water — but she has also looked after my two cats when I’ve been away.One of my cats is extremely anxious and doesn’t let anyone near him. Yet somehow, she is one of the very few people he will actually approach and allow to stroke him. That alone speaks volumes about her gentle nature and the way animals feel safe around her My dog absolutely adores her and gets excited every time she arrives. Jo has been really understanding and accommodating whenever my plans have changed. She is very reliable and I trust her to look after my pets just like they were her own, she's amazing and I would highly recommend!
Had a great chat with Jo in advance of her watching my dog, Archie, which made me feel more secure on having her house sit him for an evening. She showed up earlier than expected so we could leave promptly to our event and even offered to stay late so we could enjoy ourselves. She was so warm and friendly with Archie and while we were gone she sent regular photo updates of him and texts. Would absolutely use her again if we were in need of a pet sitter. She was fab!
I would really recommend Jo! Jo has looked after my cat, Ash, on a number of occasions. She really made the effort to get to know Ash, her preferences, her habits and her body language which i believe made a lot of difference - Ash is a timid cat but is now very fond of Jo.
Jo is an excellent cat sitter and has looked after my cat for more than 10 years, often staying over in our house whilst we were on holidays. She has a wonderful way with my cat and sends us regular updates and videos of our cat. I also get back to an immaculate house, a happy cat and the house plants all cared for too!!! We trust Jo completely with both my cat and house. Jo is like a second mum to my cat, kind, professional and very reliable. I will highly recommend Jo and you only have to meet her once to realise this.
Our puppy loves Jo and sits and waits by the door when she knows she’s coming to take care of her! She’s been great, even when needing to provide meds and address specialist diet and exercise requirements - would absolutely recommend her! Peace of mind!

Schedule
I'm due to start my sabbatical leave from the 1st of September through to 1 of December 2021, therefore, i will have a lot of free time for downtime and lots of cuddles and earn a little something whilst enjoying the company of lovable pets
