I have extensive experience volunteering at dog shelters (both HK & London), handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including rescue, strong, reactive and sensitive dogs. Combined with canine behavior knowledge I have learnt from course and years of being a dog mum, I know exactly how it feels to hand over your dog to someone else. I know the worry and the high standards we have for our dog. My own rescue dog taught me that patience is everything; I never rush a dog to trust me. Whether it's a long walk or a quiet sitting visit, I just want to make sure they feel comfortable and happy while you’re away.

I will always prioritize your instructions, whether your pet has a specific medical routine, strict dietary needs, or a particular way they like their harness fitted. I am highly experienced in managing dogs/cats who may be reactive, nervous, or shy. Having handled many rescue dogs in shelter, I stay fully alert to potential triggers—like sound, stranger knocking the door, or sudden movement. I also understand that not every dog/cat wants to be a social butterfly. If they prefers a calm companion, I can be just doing the cleaning and feeding task quietly, until they actively come to me for interaction. Equally, if you have an energetic cat/dog who loves attention, toy play or snack seeking game, I am more than happy to match their energy and keep up with them!

Yvonne cared for my cat Mumma when my husband and I were away for a whole week. Yvonne is very friendly and caring. We had a meet and greet beforehand and went through all the details. I could already tell that Mumma is absolutely comfortable with Yvonne. Her energy matches our cat perfectly. Yvonne was always on time and she did a great job with Mumma. She provided lots of photos and videos of each visits and was very responsive so communication was never an issue. I’m very happy with Yvonne’s service and will definitely book her again in the future. Highly recommend!
Yvonne is not only an experienced dog sitter, she can also takes good care of cats. Yvonne helped feeding my cat fresh food and water when I was out of town. My cat was happy with her accompany when I was not around . Yvonne is punctual and reliable. Her responses are always quick and polite. I will definitely ask for her help next time.
We’re so pleased with the care that Yvonne provided to our big Labrador boy . She is highly responsible and attentive to our big lab daily routine and special needs . There was a time that Yvonne had to stay with our lab for days. She took time to cook for our lab who required a special homemade diet. She ensured our lab got his 3-4daily walks. She is incredibly attentive when our lab in the park with other dogs, she is genuinely engaging with monitoring all. She gives our lab a lot of cuddles and plays games ( fetch ). Our Lab is always happy to have her around. She is reliable , caring and pet knowledgeable person . We trust her completely and highly recommend her service to the pet owners.

Schedule
I am currently a homemaker, mainly spending time on taking care of my family (& my dog), so I focus on providing care for limited number of dogs/ cats. It will be a great fit for owners who need flexible support a few days a week, or having a few days away from home. I can be more flexible with timing or in case of ad hoc help. I have my Wed (day time) volunteering in animal shelter, other than that I am flexible on the schedule.
