“Kuma stayed at their home for 2 weeks while I traveled away to see family. It was the most lovely experience, and Kuma gets along with their dog Ashford really well. I received many videos and updates every single day, and it made my holiday so much more enjoyable to wake up to many pictures and a story about their day together - they really do go above and beyond, and they took care of Kuma like family, even bathing him when he got dirty and always making sure he was comfortable. Any time they wanted to do something for Kuma like bathe him or take him away on a day trip with everyone, they’d check in with me first and ask if it was okay - I really appreciated this as it shows that they respect my thoughts on his care, and I would say it helped fully earn my trust during his stay! I can see that Kuma’s gotten attached to them, and how happy he looks with Ashford makes me think maybe I need to get a dog for my dog 😂 But in all seriousness, I will be bringing Kuma back whenever everyone’s available as I’ve never seen him so happy away from home before, and I feel like Daniel and Brian are extremely trustworthy and caring sitters! Gus had plenty of space to play and explore, and he absolutely loved spending time with Bailey (his new best mate). It was clear he was happy and stimulated the whole time. Fernando was professional and thoughtful. He asked all the right questions about Gus’s routine and temperament, offered a full tour of his home, and even suggested a trial visit beforehand - which I really appreciated, especially knowing Gus can be selective with other dogs. About: I have been caring for various dogs on the Rover app for over a year now. Me and my partner (Sham) have cared for all sorts of breeds ranging from chihuahuas to American Akitas! I take care of my family dog whenever my family requires. I have grown up with dogs since I was about 3 years old as my mum has a huge love for them as well. I grew up with a German Shepherd and a Dachshund. I am more than happy to go for walks as I do like to have any excuse to be active. I used to work from home mostly but have recently changed jobs and required to go to office more frequently. I can adjust my days and my partner also often steps in to provide care during the week when I’m not home. I have a communal outside area where I can take your pet for some outside time. There are a couple parks close-by. One of which is about a 10-15 minute walk away from me and is a great place to have a walk. About: I've looked after my friend's dog a lot, she is a very reactive rescue dog and took a while to gain and then build trust. It's important to read pet's moods and behaviours and learn their idiosyncrasies so you can give them the best care. I work from home 2x days a week- but these are flexible as to which days. My job isn't demanding as I am in charge of my own time so would have time for lots of cuddles and 3x walks a day. This would encourage me to get out and about and lots of exercise for your pet! About: I have grown up around dogs and since moving to London have really felt the need for a pup to get me out the flat more and bring me some daily joy! We have been doing several weeks of introductory sessions for us to easy cosmo into being left. He is slowly getting better whenever I leave him. I have tried using several different people on this app and they all failed to recognise and come up with a plan to ease Cosmos anxiety. I even had cosmo neutered and they assisted me with the entire process, even making themselves available in the day to talk to me and calm my own anxieties.
