Loving, attentive and flexible :)
My partner Lucy and I have had dogs ranging from collies to rescue mixes my entire life and cats for a few years too! I recently did a dog reactivity course with the Canine Behavioural College which has made understanding their cues and behaviour so much easier. I’m an aspiring dog trainer but for now we’re just hoping to give some pets a holiday home full of tummy tickles or even just an exciting day out in the park!

Dana has been helping to look after our border collie for many years. He needs a lot of exercise and is constantly looking to play. However, he is nervous around other people and other dogs. She is sensitive to his needs without spoiling him. She takes care to exercise him thoroughly while ensuring he is safe and does not feel vulnerable around others. Most important of all, she loves him! He is an important part of my life and I trust her completely to give him the best care.

Schedule
I currently work part time and my partner works from home so we’d both have so much love and attention to give any pets we had around. We live in Hackney with lots of local parks and enjoy walking - we’d love to have a furry friend join us.

Safety, trust & environment
We are homeowners so don’t have to worry about any landlord restrictions. We live on the second floor and don’t have a garden but love getting out and about in the parks near us and will accommodate for your dogs energy levels.
A typical day
Having had a Collie, we’re pretty used to constant ball throwing and stick fetching duty. We enjoy long walks and jogs in the parks but would be happy just mooching on the quiet residential streets around us if your dog is happier on shorter distances or less stimulating environments.
