WFH animal lover with yard
Hello! I am a life-long animal lover. You will usually find me hanging out with animals of all sorts at any party, pub or park. I work from home 3 days a week--Monday, Tuesday and Friday--and would love to spend time with dogs or cats in need of cuddles, walks, or just some company. I live near a park and also have a small grassed back yard. I'm very comfortable with all types of dogs and cats... I had a large golden retriever for 15 years (now passed) and have fostered spaniels in the UK. I previously worked full-time at a doggy-daycare back in the US (Dog Pawz in Kansas City) where I completed doggy first-aid training and puppy development courses. I am a runner so could also take high-energy dogs out with me for runs up to an hour, but only outside my working hours 9-5 (afternoons and weekends only). My family have always had cats and I've never met a cat that I didn't love and get on with. People often joke that I'm an animal-whisperer! I'm vegan but happy to give your pets whatever food they require, including any oral medications. Any other questions feel free to ask!

Stella is a reliable, attentive, and genuinely compassionate dog sitter. I can’t recommend her enough! She has watched Bunnie several times, and every experience has been absolutely wonderful. She is incredibly caring and always makes sure Bunnie gets plenty of long walks/exercise, playtime, and cuddles. I really appreciate the frequent updates: pictures and videos that show just how happy and relaxed Bunnie is in her care. I always have true peace of mind knowing my puppy is safe, loved, and having a great time!

Schedule
I work from home 9:00-17:00 in Leyton 3 days a week (Mon, Tues, Fri). Pets can be dropped off at my house for a few hours or for the whole work day. If you're looking for daycare longer than 10 hours (for example, arriving 8am with pickup after 6pm), I will apply an additional half-day fee to the booking. We can also discuss working from your home if I have no other jobs on that day and it's arranged in advance. I'm open to evenings/weekends as well with enough notice. I am a runner so can take high-energy dogs out with me for runs up to an hour in afternoons or anytime on weekends only. If at daycare with me, dogs cans expect to get one walk (up to 30min) during my lunch break with "playtimes" in-between. Other times of the day they are welcome to run around the enclosed garden, but they need to be able to settle for an hour while I do my desk job. This arrangement may not fit with dogs that need more than an hour of playtime/activities during the workday.

Safety, trust & environment
My flat has an enclosed back yard that I share with a partner who would be at home in the evenings/weekends. All animals have free roam of the home including couches etc; we have a hamster who lives in a cage in our bedroom, so that is the only area off-limits. We have some areas of carpet so all visiting pets will be expected to be potty-trained. Our flat is on the ground floor in a block that sits directly adjacent to a large park, which connects to a number of other open green spaces for longer walks/runs.
A typical day
We can cuddle on the couch while I do my desk job for up to an hour straight. Dogs can expect to get at least one walk (up to 30min) during my lunch break or after I finish at 17:00, and multiple smaller "playtimes". Other times of the day they are welcome to run around home or the enclosed garden, but they need to be able to settle for up to an hour. Hourly pee breaks to the garden are not a problem.

- Advance notice is really important for my scheduling; I do not accept same day bookings for this reason. I'm comfortable with all types of dogs, but definitely have a soft spot for big fluffy seniors. Please let me know when you make a booking if your pet has any separation anxiety, so I can plan my other life events around their needs. Please also include if they require any additional care (medication, dog reactivity), but this can also be discussed in detail during a Meet & Greet. If you're later the you're scheduled pick up for daycare/boarding, then I will apply a "longer day" fee equal to a half-day rate.
