I will definitely book Dougal to stay with Diana again.”

About: We are an active, dog-loving family of five with a large garden, perfectly located right opposite a forest for endless walks and adventures. Our household includes three children (ages 16, 13, and 8) who have grown up knowing exactly how to respect, handle, and love dogs. We have a deep understanding of canine care, having owned our beloved Staffy, Zeus, for 15 years, and more recently, our XL Bully, Axel. While I recently had to make the difficult decision to rehome Axel due to my daughter’s severe eczema, her doctor has recommended frequent, short-term exposure to dogs to help her build up a natural resistance. Dog sitting is the absolute perfect balance for us—it allows us to open our home to furry guests, gives the kids their dog-fix, and ensures your pup gets constant attention, play, and love. For now, I am looking to host smaller dogs as I transition into pet sitting. Important Note: Your dog must be entirely comfortable and safe around cats as we have a cat (lives outside 90% of the time) What I offer: Decades of Experience: Confident and experienced with powerful breeds, energetic puppies, and senior dogs alike. Prime Location: A spacious, secure garden and direct access to forest trails right across the road for perfect daily walks. Constant Company: With a bustling family, there is almost always someone around to play, cuddle, or keep your dog company. Tailored Care: I will strictly follow your feeding, exercise, and training routines to make your dog feel right at home. Your dog won't just be looked after; they will be treated like a cherished member of our family during their stay! There's usually always someone at home, although there may be times when we have to leave for an hour or so. It would be a bonus if your dog is comfortable being alone for short periods Our garden is fully secured with grass and tiled areas. We keep a tidy, pet-safe indoor environment, though we do have a policy of keeping pets off the sofas. We provide plenty of comfortable dedicated pet beds so they still have a cozy place to relax.
“Jenny clearly loves and understands dogs. We felt she really listened to us and we felt that she understood how important it was to follow the routines we have put in place to make Daisy feel secure and comfortable. She was warm , welcoming and reassuring. Jenny sent photos and messsges and we could see how relaxed and content Daisy was. We think we have found the ideal person to look after Daisy!”

We have a long, fenced garden with plenty of trees so they will feel like they’re on an adventure all day. They can get to spend it with our lovely cocker spaniel Coco who loved meeting new people and dogs!
“Giedre is a wonderful dog sitter! She made my dog Judy feel right at home from the start. It was obvious she felt happy, comfortable and really enjoyed her stay. “Sunshyne has been great and very caring. I admit that my two cats are not the easiest or the friendliest around people they don't know, as they tend to hide, and it is very difficult to spot them. With patience and dedication, Sunshyne has managed to gain their trust. She has gone above and beyond the detailed discussions I have left her, providing timely information and asking the right questions when she suspected that something could have been wrong. I will definitely rebook, knowing that I can leabe Ebony and Ivory in very safe hands.”

About: I had two lovely cats as a child and growing up with them taught me responsibility, how to care for a cat but mostly about their independence! These were my first pets so created a love for cats very early on. I have also looked after cats for two of my neighbours while they were away. I would check in twice a day to feed them, play with them and make sure they had everything they needed.

“Eva did a fantastic job of looking after our two cats and keeping us updated. Despite them being a little shy, Eva was patient and persistent and we could see them getting braver for each update. ”

“Elizabeth has looked after my 2 cats very well whilst we were on holiday and would thoroughly recommend her. She sent us photos of the cats every day so we didn’t have to worry about them. I will certainly use Elizabeth again. Thanks x”

“Mary was absolutely wonderful! She took such loving care of my cat and kept me feeling completely at ease while I was away. I could tell my cat was comfortable, happy, and well looked after. I’m so grateful and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and reliable sitter.❤️”

About: I provide calm, respectful drop-in care and understand that most cats prefer routine, space and a steady, predictable environment. I always strive to follow their usual schedule so they feel safe, comfortable and undisturbed while you're away. I have four rabbits of my own, so I’m confident caring for small animals and understand the importance of calm, consistent daily routines. I’ve also provided cat drop-in care for a neighbour while they were away on holiday, making sure feeding and basic care routines were followed. I’ve been around dogs for most of my life, with my family owning dogs for the past 17 years, and I’m very comfortable supporting a range of pet care needs when required. Friends, family and neighbours have relied on me to help care for their pets when needed. I enjoy spending time with animals and focus on making sure they feel secure, cared for and settled while their owners are away.

“Fantastic service for our cat Elle. Kiya came to visit before we went away. While away Kiya sorted food, changed water and cat litter. She also took pictures and wrote a summary of her visit. We would definitely ask Kiya again”

About: I live in a flat with my partner, Tuan, who is also a pet lover! We both have many years of experience caring for pets, started when we were kids! My friends have relied on me to pet-sit whenever they’re on holiday, and most pet owners describe me as 'patient' - with that said I always make sure that their needs are met at that time! I have experience sitting pets of various ages from 8 months old to 13 years old, so I am extremely comfortable in handling their needs. Depending on the needs of our furry friends, my energy can be matched. If they are high energy that requires long walks, let's run to the park! And if they are laid back, let's just chill by the sofa/bench with a nice book and cuppa :) On top of meeting their needs, I make sure they are kept clean at all times, meaning making sure their paws and pee-pee are wiped down after walks to get any mud/grass seeds, and to brush their coats whenever needed. I am also a great communicator, I always make sure to send pet-owners regular photos and/or videos during our activities and any alarming behaviours that need attention. I've also ended up becoming really good friends with one of the pet-owners I've met on Rover, which means I get to see/look after our furry friend a lot more regularly :) BIG win! All-in-all, I attend to their needs. If there's a strict schedule, I will always try to shift things around and accommodate it. We have a car, so we are happy to bring your lil one out for a stroll too whenever needed! My partner and I both work remotely most days, so we will be able to attend to the pets needs at all times. I am an early riser, so I am usually good to take your furry friend out for a walk whilst it’s still less crowded on the pavement/in the park. My partner and I also enjoy evening walks after dinner, so rest assured that our friend will have the chance to do his/her final wee of the day before bed. I have several parks near my flat so those are great areas for them to roam and play! I have a large space and living room at home. The pet would have a good amount of space to walk around to enjoy themselves whilst I work/chill. I am also comfortable with allowing our friends to sleep, lay in my bed if needed. I also live really close to Epping Forest and we have a car, so we can easily drive and bring our furry friend out for strolls!

About: I'm self-employed, so my schedule is mine to set, which means your dog gets lots of attention. Most weekdays I've got no more than two hours of meetings, so I'm around to keep an eye on things even on "working" days. My husband, Martijn, works from home too, so there are two of us on hand if needed. We got our dog together, Loki, and he grew up with a rescue dog so is very comfortable around dogs. We live right on the edge of Epping Forest in Chingford, and Loki (my 6.5-year-old pomsky) gets 1.5 hours of forest walks a day, rain or shine. Any dog staying with us gets the same (unless less is desired). Our garden is spacious and mostly grass, with a small paddle pool for dogs who fancy a dip, and in summer the back door stays open so dogs can wander in and out as they please. I grew up co-responsible for my own family dog until she was nearly 15, so I've handled the full range from puppy energy (not mine, more on that below) to slower senior years. Since then, I've looked after more friends' dogs than I can count, and done several in-person dog training courses because I wanted to actually understand dog body language and communication, not just guess. I've also specifically sat anxious dogs and rescues before and know how to read and work with that as well as adjust to their needs. Loki is very sociable, he loves being chased and a good game of ball, but is just as happy to lie around quietly if your dog is more introverted (he's neutered, easy company either way). The one exception is puppies. He's not a fan of boisterous puppy energy, so I don't currently take dogs under 12 months. Always happy to do a meet and greet with Loki before any booking, so you can see for yourself how the two of them get on. I'm self-employed, so I set my own hours and rarely have more than two hours of meetings on any given day. That means I'm genuinely around for the doggies during day care and walks. My husband also works from home, so there are two of us on hand if needed. We only take bookings when we can guarantee someone's home; no dog is ever left alone here. Our garden is spacious, secure and mostly grass, with a small paddling pool for warm days, and in summer the back door stays open so dogs can move freely between house and garden. No kids, cats or other pets in the house (only my dog, Loki), so your dog gets our full attention. We're right on the edge of Epping Forest (3-minute walk) between Chingford and Highams Park for daily walks. I have short and longer leashes to balance your dog's safety, so they can also get the exercise they need. Always happy to do a meet and greet with Loki first. He has yet to meet an adult dog that he doesn't get along with.
“Sofia was great with our little Daschund, Momo. Have us updates and was super understanding when we got a bit delayed while picking him up. Momo came back happy and tired :)”

About: We are a family of four and also proud owners of two lovely Cocker spaniels and a Bengal cat. I have had animals all my life, looking after them from puppies and kittens all the way through to old age. My two dogs are very friendly and well-trained, and they love other animals. They will enjoy having another dog to play with. I work from home, and have plenty of time to play with your dog, and they will get lovely long meadow walks twice a day. I have a large fenced garden for play and your dog can happily roam around. When we go for a walks, it is usually over the fields behind our house, which are all beautiful grassed meadows and great for long runs. The downstairs of my house is completely tiled so lovely and cool in the summer and warm in the winter when the underfloor heating goes on. I will accept crate-trained or non-crate-trained dogs, and I am happy for your pet to roam the whole house. I just ask that your dog is fully house trained although we know accidents can happen.

“I couldn't be happier with the care my 4-month-old Frenchie received! Leaving a young puppy can be stressful, but I was kept reassured with regular, lovely updates throughout the day. They were incredibly understanding of a puppy's specific needs and routines. Highly recommend, and will definitely be booking again! Thank you Danielle and Andrew”

“Sunshyne is great with Sully - spending the time time with him so he gets to know her, and build confidence on walks. About: I've been around dogs for most of my life, with my family owning dogs for the past 17 years. Friends, family and neighbours have relied on me to help care for their pets when needed. I've helped care for my parents' dog, taking her on walks and working on commands like "leave" and "drop". I have four rabbits of my own, so I'm just as happy caring for small pets and can offer rabbit drop-ins too. I've also looked after my neighbour's cats while they've been away on holiday. I enjoy spending time with dogs and find that they usually settle well with me. I'll always aim to follow your pet's routine and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and cared for while you're away. As a mum of 2 I fully understand busy schedules. I can be available within school hours Monday - Friday with occasional, specific availability outside of this. My home environment is best suited to small, calm visiting dogs needing companionship due to my own pets. I have a secure front and back garden available for supervised toileting breaks. My main availability is for walks and drop in visits, where I can offer consistent care and attention in your pet’s own environment. I’m also very fortunate to be close to Epping Forest, Hainault forest, and surrounding green spaces, ideal for dogs who enjoy longer walks, exploring, or a good game of fetch. Locally, there are also plenty of quiet, safe streets suitable for regular lead walks.

About: I am a professional dog carer with over 15 years of experience working with dogs across three countries: 10 years in the UK, 2 years in Australia, and 2 years in my home country of Canada. My passion for animals led me to start my own successful dog-walking business in Canada, where I built strong, lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Throughout my career, I have gained hands-on experience in dog walking, sitting, and behavioral understanding, catering to dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I prioritize safety, trust, and individualized care for each dog, ensuring they stay happy, healthy, and well-exercised. I currently work with a dedicated group of recurring clients but am looking to expand my services. Whether you need a dependable dog walker, a caring sitter, or someone who truly understands your dog’s needs, I am here to help. Contact me to discuss how I can support you and your furry friend! I do work full time but I have quite a flexible schedule working from home 2-3 days per week. Happy to discuss what you need to ensure it works for both of us. My approach involves more than just feeding and walking. It’s about creating a nurturing environment tailored to their needs. I take the time to get to know them. Introduce myself calmly, allowing them to approach me at their own pace. I like to discuss preferences you/your pet may have, such as diet, exercise, and what a normal day looks like. In my experience pets thrive on consistency. A predictable schedule also helps reduce anxiety and builds trust. I ensure my home is pet-proofed and safe. And the best part of this for me - Spend time playing, cuddling, or simply being present.
“I cannot recommend Sze enough! She is very careful and loving, has a perfect sensibility to feel and calm your dog, especially if (s)he is anxious like ours! Sze was the best dogsitter we were hoping for! We have a dog who can get very afraid by strangers and it was the first time that somebody would come get our dog in our flat to bring him out for a walk. As he can be quite territorial, we were very nervous about this. Sze was wonderful in reassuring that all would go well, she came to meet our dog the day before with us in the flat. The two walks went wonderfully well, and Sze sent great pictures and description of their walks! Thank you Sze!”

Honestly I can’t thank her enough and would happily leave Percy with her again anytime.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life so I have all the experience needed to look after your pets. I am most comfortable around dogs and cats. I recently lost my own dog of 10 years, so I am eager for some furry company 🐶🤍 My experience comes from my own pets, pets I've looked after in the UK and Australia. I have pet sat via sitter apps like TrustedHouseSitters, Rover, Pawshake and MadPaws. I have done pet sitting here and there in my spare time and whilst travelling last year. I live in a house with a secure front and back garden and with my mum and partner. When new pets enter my home, they are given the opportunity to roam around freely whilst I watch them, to see where they feel more secure and comfortable. I work 9-5 Monday-Friday but I have all major school holidays off to care for pets full time. When I am at work, dogs are able to use the dog flap that is available to go potty during the day when I am at work. Pets are kept an eye on via 2 pet cameras I have in the living room and the kitchen. If I am at work, dogs are left alone between 8am - 5pm maximum. I have a car for any emergencies where driving is needed. I offer pet boarding overnight or just during the day and also offer coming to your home. I offer walks when looking after dogs included in the price, as well as grooming for any pets. I have experience with shy and bubbly pets and know when to give them affection and when not to. I only look after 1 or 2 pets from the same family at any one time. I never mix pets with pets they don't know so they feel at ease. DOGS 🐶 I love all kinds of dogs, they bring a ray of sunshine to our lives! I have experience with a range of dog sizes. I am very affectionate with dogs and have a calm manner and a calm home, I also love to play with them and their toys. I have a nice medium sized secure garden for dogs to run around in as well. I do have a medium sized dog flap for easy garden access. I live in walking distance to a forest / field for lovely walks. ❤️ Walks will be anywhere between 30 mins - 1 hour. I normally do one in the morning, one in the evening. CATS 🐱 I have taken care of cats whilst in Australia and Tasmania. I am comfortable around cats and I also grew up with 3 when I was younger. I look after my partners cat from time to time so I will treat your cat like one of the family. I am very affectionate and calm when I am around pets and create a safe environment for cats and kittens. ❤️ I do work full time Mon - Fri 8-5 so dogs and cats that are okay to be left alone for a work day are best. I do have a secure garden and a medium sized dog flap for toilet needs. If house sitting, I also need dogs and cats that are okay to be left alone Mon - Fri 8-5. I have a fenced off garden, a medium sized dog flap and secure home in a quiet area opposite a quiet forest. My home is dog friendly.

She sent us a video each day and Cosmo looked so happy and relaxed. I'll definitely be asking Viktoriia to look after Cosmo again the next time we need doggy care.”

About: Hi there! I’m a postgraduate student in psychology with a deep passion for animal care and behavior. Having cared for my own Golden Retriever, Nacho, for over seven years, I am very experienced in the day-to-day routines of dog care. Beyond caring for my own dog, I regularly pet-sit and walk dogs for friends, family, and neighbors, handling dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I work flexibly at the moment, which allows me to give your dog my full attention. I typically do 30 to 60-minute walks, taking full advantage of a great park just 10 minutes from my place, and I’ll happily send photo updates if you wish to know how your pup is doing! (Note: Since Nacho lives with me, any dogs coming to my home for care or visits must be comfortable living alongside another dog!) I look forward to meeting you and giving your dog the care and companionship they deserve. My own dog is among the highlights of my daily life, so I always ensure she’s had her fill of fun each day. I’m currently in the process of finishing up my dissertation, so I have a very free and flexible schedule that allows me to easily house and give proper care to our fuzzy friends. I have a fenced garden, and a perfect golden retriever therapy dog to accompany your pet. Chances are, we already have a lot of tools and toys for your dog to enjoy, and my family are also present and happy to spend time with them.

“Mango was with Taffany (Siu Yung) for 2 days and she took excellent care of him. She took him for walks through out the day and kept us informed with regular updates with pictures and mesages. She took him out during the rain as well and blow dried him. One could only imagine if someone can be so loving and caring. Taffany and her family kept Mango super happy during his stay. Mango came back super happy after the stay. I would definitely recommend Taffany to anyone and everyone and looking forward for another stay in the future. Thank you so much for taking such a good care of Mango. Much appreciated 🙏”
