One-to-One Care & Private gardens
My partner and I are both huge animal lovers, and caring for dogs is something I’ve been passionate about from a young age. I grew up in a family with a Golden Retriever, so I’ve been around dogs and involved in their day-to-day care for many years. Over time, I’ve also looked after dogs of different breeds, sizes, personalities and energy levels, including Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Border Collies, Whippets, Pomeranians and Cockapoos. This has helped me understand that every dog is different. Some need lots of exercise and stimulation, while others prefer a quieter routine, plenty of cuddles and a comfortable place to relax. I work from home all the time, which means your dog will have plenty of company, attention and supervision throughout their stay. I always take time to learn about each dog’s usual schedule, feeding, exercise, toilet habits and any little quirks that help them feel comfortable and at home. I’m happy to care for dogs with different energy levels and needs, including dogs who require longer walks or a little extra patience and attention. If your dog is a rescue, working dog, has separation anxiety, a disability or any behavioural needs, please let me know beforehand so we can discuss whether my home and routine will be a good fit. Most importantly, I only look after one guest dog at a time, so your dog gets plenty of individual attention and care. It also avoids the potential stress of having several unfamiliar dogs staying together. Shuang is such a caring and thoughtful dog sitter! She always tries to form bonds with the dogs and tries her best to make them happy like taking them out on excursions and make some memories. She lives in an area with easy access to large fields and a place to easily socialise with other dogs as well as a smaller private garden if your dog isn't sociable, she is attentive to the dogs and makes sure to keep the dogs groomed and healthy, if there is ever anything wrong with the pets she immediately acts on it. She keeps the owners up to date and shares lots of pictures with them, I even got a polaroid picture! She is simply the best and my pets are always so happy to be able to spend time with her. If you ever need anyone to look after your pet as though it was their own Shuang is that person, I would never want to go with anyone else!

Schedule
I work from home most of the week and usually go into the office no more than once a week. On the day I’m in the office, my partner is at home, so your dog will have plenty of company and won’t routinely be left alone for long periods. A typical day includes morning, midday and evening walks, with plenty of playtime, attention and rest in between. For active and high-energy dogs, I’m happy to provide around 2–3 hours of outdoor activity per day, depending on their age, health, energy level and usual routine. At weekends, with your permission, we love taking dogs in our car to nearby parks, woodland and nature spots for longer walks and adventures. We can tailor activities to your dog, whether they love exploring outdoors or prefer a more relaxed day at home. I also have a car and can offer pick-up and drop-off, subject to location and availability.

Safety, trust & environment
I only accept one guest dog at a time, so your dog gets our full attention and can settle into our home without the stress of sharing their space with other boarding dogs. We live in Royal Wharf/Riverscape (E16) and have a private garden where dogs can enjoy fresh air, relax in the sun and, where appropriate, have supervised off-lead time. We also have two large communal gardens nearby and lovely walking routes along the Thames. Our home is non-smoking, with no children and no other pets. Dogs are welcome on the sofa if that’s what they’re used to at home. I want their stay to feel as familiar and comfortable as possible. I’ll follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking and sleeping routines and can accommodate simple dietary requirements. Before their stay, I’ll ask about their personality, toilet habits, recall, behaviour around other dogs, any anxieties and anything else I should know to care for them safely. You’ll also receive regular photos and video updates throughout their stay, and I’ll always communicate with you if I notice anything unusual. I’m very happy to arrange a meet & greet beforehand so you and your dog can see the environment and get comfortable with us before their first stay. 🐾
