Schedule
Im currently studying, so I spend a lot if time at home and can dedicate plenty of attention to your furry baby. I love having a dog around while I study and im able to provide regular companionship, toilet breaks, cuddles, playtime and walks rather than leaving them along for long periods. My senior chihuahua Buddy is also part of my everyday life, so your dog will have lots of company and a loving home environment.

For me, looking after a dog is much more than simply providing walks, food and somewhere to stay. I genuinely care about each dog as an individual and want them to feel like part of the family while they’re with me. I pay attention to their little personalities, routines, body language and comfort whether that means a dog who wants endless cuddles, one who needs lots of play and stimulation, or a nervous pup who simply needs someone to sit quietly beside them until they feel safe. Every dog is different, and I take the time to understand what makes your dog happy and comfortable.My own rescue chihuahua has taught me so much about patience, compassion and attentive care.Through caring for him, including his heart murmur, Ive become particularly aware of his needs of older dogs and the importance of noticing changes in breathing,energy, behaviour and overall comfort. I also have first aid knowledge so I know how important it is to stay calm observant and prepared if something unexpected happens. Im probably a slightly crazy dog mum, but I think that's exactly what makes me love looking after other peoples dogs so much. when your dog stays with me, my aim is for them to feel like theyre having a little holiday with family not simply being looked after. Im always happy to arrange a meet & greet beforehand,especially if your dog will be staying overnight with my chihuahua Buddy.I want both dogs to feel comfortable and I rather take the time to introduce them probably and make sure its a good match. Your dogs safety and wellbeing always comes first. Im a very attentive dog owner and pay close attention to body language behaviour energy levels and anything that seems unusual. My own chihuahua is a senior rescue with a heart murmur so I have experience being particularly mindful of breathing stress and changes in wellbeing.

A typical day
Every dogs day will be adapted to their personality energy level and normal routine we can enjoy relaxed walks plenty of sniffing and exploring in the lovely little park right next to my home, as well as playtime and mental stimulation. At home there will be lots of cuddles attention and relaxing together. If your dog is nervous im happy to take things slowly and let them settle at their own pace
