I am fully retired now and so can give all my attention to any pets welcomed into my home. I typically get 10,000 steps in each day and some company on the walks would be lovely.

I love taking dogs I care for on different walks, through parks and woodlands. Playing games like fetch and find the treat are things I’ve enjoyed with dogs I’ve cared for.

Pet care experience
There has always been a pet in the family since I was a young child. Our sausage dog Ernie recently passed away. I love all animals, long walks and live in a lovely green space within Blackheath’s cater estate.

Margaret is absolutely wonderful with our dog! He is always so happy to see her and is back home with a wag in his tail and a smile in his eyes! She is also very kind and patient with him as he is older with hearing loss. She truly treats him like one of her own and I am very grateful for that
