Hi, I’m Mari! Experienced dog lover since childhood. My brother’s whippet Valentina came from Brazil and lived with us for 12 wonderful years before she passed away, about 3 years ago. I now share a sunny home with a fenced garden and a friendly cat who doesn’t mind furry friends around. I work from home 4 days a week and I’m always available for caring pet companionship! My work days finishes with a long walk by the canal, where I usually take my dog companions :)

Marilia was amazing with Doca! He spent the whole afternoon with her, and she took him for walks and kept me updated with photos throughout the day. He was clearly so happy and comfortable that he didn't even want to leave her home when I picked him up. I absolutely recommend her!

What impressed me most was the progress she made with one of my dogs, who struggled with significant anxiety in parks and unfamiliar environments. Somehow, the calmness, confidence, and sense of security she provided helped him relax in a way I hadn't seen before. It was truly remarkable to witness. I honestly don't have enough words to thank Marilia for everything she did. Knowing my dogs were in such capable and loving hands gave me complete peace of mind. I recommend her services wholeheartedly to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about animals. She is simply outstanding.
Marilia haa been staying with my cat Penelope while I’m at work and looks after her when I’m travelling for the past year we’ve been living together and she’s very good with her. They are true partners in crime. If you’re looking for someone to give love to your pet while you’re away you can’t go wrong.

Schedule
I’m a lighting designer and I work from home Tuesday to Friday from a back room overlooking my garden. My work is busy but very flexible, and I can board dogs for longer stays or full days with a bit of advance notice

I have a small, very friendly cat who has been used to dogs since she was little. I also have a sunny fenced garden facing my home office. For boarding, dogs can sleep in my bed if needed, or in a separate room.
Pets
A typical day
I wake up at 7am and go for a quick walk around the block before our day starts. Once we’re back home, it’s coffee and breakfast time, followed by some ball play in the garden before I settle into work around 8:30am. My office faces the garden, so your dog will have access to it at all times, while I’m always keeping an eye on them. During my lunch break, we head out for another walk to Boston Manor Park, which is just around the corner. The afternoon is very similar to the morning: I work from home until 5:30pm, when it’s finally time for my daily 5km walk along the canal. Back home, your furry friend rests while I do some chores and get ready for dinner and bedtime around 10pm. Any specific needs or timings can always be adjusted to suit your dog’s routine. :)
