Being on maternity leave means I’m home most of the day, so your furry friend will always have supervision, companionship, and plenty of affection rather than being left alone for long periods. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, routine, and needs so they feel comfortable and relaxed while in my care. I’m very patient and attentive, which makes me confident caring for puppies learning their routines, senior dogs who need a gentler approach, or pets with special needs. Some things that help owners feel confident choosing me: I follow your pet’s usual routine closely, including feeding, walking, and playtime, to reduce stress. I maintain a safe, clean environment at all times, whether in your home or mine. I provide regular photo and message updates so you can see your pet happy and relaxed throughout their stay. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel loved, safe, and well cared for at all times. Your pet’s comfort and happiness is my priority, and I strive to build trust with both pets and their owners.

Macayla looked after my very hyperactive Snoopy (bichon 8 year old male) at her home. He was also truly spoilt by her family members this was something I was looking for in a dog sitter as I have never left him along before and my house is full of people. I wanted to make sure he was getting a lot of attention. Snoopy has a lot of energy to burn off so having her son around helped keep him busy. I loved and appreciated the updates I was getting throughout the day as it put my mind to rest that he was having the best time. If ever I have any future plans I wouldn’t hesitate to use Macayla again. Thank you so much x
Well where do I start? Macayla has been in and out of my pets lives for years now (by no fault of her own) but when her help has been required she has always been ready, keen, eager and most importantly happy to help. Wether that’s walking them, attending vet appointments for me on my behalf, making appointments to for the groomers, visits to pet stores for treats, toys or a new bed, constantly researching to understand the breed better and finding ways to keep my pets (dogs mostly) entertained, safe and comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else ever, thank you always x

Schedule
I’m currently on maternity leave and spend most of my time at home. This gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets throughout the day. I’m available for walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention, and I can easily adapt to your pet’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. Because I’m home often, pets in my care won’t be left alone for long periods and will receive plenty of companionship and supervision. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m also happy to send regular photo and message updates so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you’re away. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I look forward to welcoming new furry friends and giving them a safe, calm, and caring environment.

Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my top priority. I will always provide a calm and loving environment where pets can feel relaxed and secure whilst in my care whether they are in their own home or mine. I will take the time to understand each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special requirements so I can keep their day as familiar and stress-free as possible (again, regardless of being in my home or their own). In my home - pets will have a safe, clean space to relax aswell as play. They will always be supervised and given plenty of attention, exercise, and affection throughout the day. In your home - I will respect your space and follow the instructions provided so your pet can stay happy and content within their usual environment. I will stick to their normal feeding, walking, and sleeping routines as much as possible. I’m also happy to provide regular photo and message updates so you can feel reassured and connected while you’re away. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely comfortable and confident with the care being provided.
