“Suki was amazing with our 2.5yr old Golden Retriever. He’s going through a stage of humping out of excitement and she dealt with it (and him) really calmly and consistently and kept me up to date throughout the day with photos. He seemed super happy when I picked him up and her home is so calming and lovely - we’ll definitely use her again!”

“Ginny & Luna loved their day with Sophie. Luna is quite nervous of new people, but Sophie put her at ease within minutes of meeting her. The updates & pictures were reassuring and meant that we could relax, knowing our girls were in safe hands. Will definitely rebook in the future”

“Anna took excellent care of our doggy Maple and was really considerate of her nervous nature. Anna was happy to accommodate Maple’s routine and she came home tired after having a great day with Anna and Percy! Will definitely use Anna again :)”

“I can’t recommend Imogen highly enough. Imogen took great care of our puppy who warmed to her loving, calming and reassuring manner. Imogen really cares about getting know and understand your dog’s needs and mannerisms and super attentive to what the owners requirements are too. I don’t think our puppy wanted to leave he had such a super day! Looking forward to seeing you next week Imogen and thank you again!”

“Another trouble free day with Ed. So good I’ve found someone who easily copes with my high energy dog! Careful with the toys though - she destroys even the most tough within 20 minutes!”

About: I own 2 Labradors and would provide your dog with a safe, happy, loving environment. We also have a garden. I have lots of experience with dogs. I work from home all day, have two dogs and can provide love and comfort to your dog. I have four years experience with dogs. I have two friendly dogs and a fenced garden. We can provide care, toilet breaks, short walks, lots of treats and love! I am home all day.
About: Having previously owned a lovely terrier as well as our cat, Donny I have more recently been looking after friends pets whilst they go on vacation. I will only ever have a maximum of two dogs at any time so your pet will always get the attention they need. I do not currently work and enjoy an active lifestyle and love to walk. This means I have plenty of time to care for your pets. I have a fully secured back garden and your pet will sleep in our dining room where there’s plenty of room for a bed or crate. Well behaved dogs will be allowed more freedom in the house but will remain downstairs. We do have a cat who mostly stays outside but is well used to having dogs around.
“Laura did the most amazing job at looking after our Fig!! You can tell how loving and caring she is from the moment you meet her and I felt completely safe and secure leaving our dog with her. Fig unexpectedly came on her first heat the day before she was supposed to be caring for her, and Laura so kindly still took her on. I am beyond grateful! Thank you so much Laura!”

“Terence is evidently a professional, experienced dog handler and I had every confidence that he would care for our busy Parson Jack Russell for the day last week. He kindly accepted my booking at very short notice which was particularly appreciated. Rural location. Would highly recommend.”

“Lauren was great, she put us at ease as soon as we met her - we could instantly tell she’d take good care of Margot. Really great communication when booking and nice photo updates through the day. Margot loved her day with Lauren so much she didn’t want to leave!”

About: I will be happy to have your pooch joining us on walks or staying with us when you need a time away. I live in Liss, Hampshire with very responsible daughter, energetic toy poodle, quiet fish and 2 cute rabbits (they live outside). We love taking walks locally or drive for a little bit more of countryside exploring. Our house has a specious living area where all action is on during the day, and quiet, fenced garden. We adore pets. My daughter is solely in charge of her rabbits and helps out with taking care of the rest of our 'zoo'. Our dog is a friendly young toy poodle, who likes to play but very understanding to our dog guests when they need their own space. If you think your dog would like to stay or take a walk with us, please, get in touch! Always happy to meet with you first before, so we are sure everyone is comfortable with the company. Also, can offer pick up and drop off if needed. I'm working from home and able to take regular walks during the day over lunch time and in the evenings, and even more over weekends. We keep our dog and all guest dogs downstairs, our garden has lawn area and it is fenced. I do have extra crates if needed.
“Sarah was very flexible when I couldn’t confirm exact pick up and drop off timings. Pebble had a lovely day and was thoroughly walked. I received plenty of photos and will use again! :)”

“I feel so lucky to have found Kerry. Kerry is a wonderful, warm, friendly and dog loving person, who my dog, Oscar, wags his tail vigorously for when I tell him he’s going to spend the day with Kerry and her own dog. Kerry takes fantastic care of Oscar; she has a spacious garden and always updates with me with a photo of their walk. I thoroughly recommend Kerry in every way.”

About: I've taken care of my friends and families dogs for over 5 years, including walks, sitting and boarding. I have looked after variety of breeds including shih tzus, cavapoos and cockapoos and have very much enjoyed it, so now looking to provide my services to other people who may need some help. My partner (Melissa) and I regularly go for nice walks and we love to bring dogs along for company. We do have the addition of a baby girl to the family now though so any dogs that we sit would need to be happy with babies. I'm currently working hybrid. I work from home on Mondays and Wednesdays so would be able to do boarding at weekends and walks every evenings. I could also do drop ins during lunch breaks on the Mondays and Wednesdays as well as weekends. I have good sized fenced garden where the dogs can run around and enjoy the outside. I also live adjacent to a national trust park to take your dog for walks, with rivers, forest areas and park land. There us room downstairs for a crate if needed and spare bedrooms.
“Gavins day care was perfect for oboe who had an absolutely lovely day. He was played with and walked and fed and watered and we had photos sent of him looking loved and happy with lexi the great dane (snuggled up on the sofa). They are clearly a dog loving family. When we were delayed, they were warm and understanding. I highly recommended them, would definitely use again! Oboe was tired and happy when we collected him. (thank you!)”

About: I have been a dog owner or had one as part of the family all my life. My children adore dogs. My son is in effect a dog whisper! My daughter will hand out the cuddles! I have a golden retriever who loves to head out so we are constantly pottering. Either in the garden, the field that backs onto the garden or further afield. We have a large fenced back garden that dogs can safely potter about in. A field backs onto the garden that is only accessible to those of us who live in the couple of cottages that back into it. It’s a very sociable dog hangout! As a retriever owner we are very hands on, he is a typical needy retriever so is very much part of the family and loves hanging with other dogs.
About: I have owned cats all my life, currently we have 3! We have 2 rescued dogs and a lurcher and we are loving family life. I regularly help look after my friends dogs. I currently work 3 night shifts midweek. My husband is home with the children when I work so someone is always home. We try to walk the dogs as a whole family every day which is lovely. We have a fully fenced garden and multiple staircase gates etc due to having a 3 year old son who thinks he is buzz lightyear!!! I work nights and so I'm around during the days. When I'm at work my husband is home with the dogs and children so someone is always home. My home is completely safe and got various stair gates etc to make our life safe and easy. Our garden is laid to artificial grass so make it easy to maintain and keep clean and not muddy on even the wettest day.

East Hampshire dog owners share their Rover experiences
Our 8 month cockapoo Esme was very happy spending the day with Emma, Matt and their beautiful dogs Noodle and Nala. Emma and Matt were very attentive to Esme needs. Esme is only still a puppy and it was clear that Emma and Matt are very experienced dog owners / sitters. When we picked Esme up she was so excited to see us, but kept going back to Emma and Matt, as she had created a loving bound with them and their fur babies. Highly recommend Emma and Matt, they have a secure garden and dog friendly home, and live in a lovely area with lots places for dog walks. Thank you so much guys, it’s great to have found you.
