Suki was amazing with our 2.5yr old Golden Retriever. He’s going through a stage of humping out of excitement and she dealt with it (and him) really calmly and consistently and kept me up to date throughout the day with photos. He seemed super happy when I picked him up and her home is so calming and lovely - we’ll definitely use her again!

Aakanksha and her family are all very nice and my dog Becky enjoyed her stay and the attention she got. The animals in the household are friendly and seemed to have a good time in the garden with Becky. I’m sure we will repeat daycare bookings in the future:)

Anna, Izzie and their 2 children were amazing with our little girl Honey. They took her on a lovely woodland walk, played with her and gave her lots of cuddles. They have a lovely and secured garden, alongside beautiful walks nearby. They sent some adorable photos throughout the day so I could see what she was getting up to and the adventures she went on. Honey came back so happy and slept peacefully all evening. I would recommend them to anyone and we look forward to using their services again! Thank you 🐾

About: Hello, my name is Annie and I am 29 years old. Animals have always been my passion having been brought up around them all my life. I trained at Merrist Wood College for 2 years and gained my qualifications in the level 3 extended diploma in Animal Management. I have years of experience with animal care and with this I am hoping to build a lovely client base for dog sitting and walking in Bordon and the surrounding areas. I am available Friday afternoons 3 onwards, Monday mornings and weekends. I am happy to offer dog walks whilst pet sitting also! I also hold a canine first aid diploma. If you would like me to be your regular pet sitter then pop me a message for a chat. I currently work Tuesday - Thursday 8.30am until 3.30pm. I can still house sit on these days but I would only be able to pop home once in the day to let them out for a run (if it is fairly local). I can offer doggy day care also. I can still do drop in visits or dog walks Tuesday - Thursday anytime after 3.30. Friday - Monday I am available for house sits and also any drop ins or dog walks. Pets are part of the family and as so, should be treated like one. I will offer one to one attention with your pets in your home to help build a bond. Your pet will be left in safe hands with me and will be loved like my own. I’m always happy to answer any queries you might have and I’m also happy to follow instructions if left for me for your pet.

I left Meggy with Rosanna for 6 hours' day care on 2.2.24 at short notice. She was very accommodating and I felt Megs settled in almost immediately. She had an hour's walk at lunch down towards the park/woodland and playtime during the day. A quiet, calm household with a small rear garden all of which suited our Jack Russell well at that time. Without hesitation, I would certainly use Rosanna again.

Leaving a young puppy with someone else is never easy, but I have complete confidence in Laura. Milou absolutely adores her and is always so excited to see her, which says everything. He comes home happy, relaxed and clearly well looked after. It's such a comfort knowing he is in a safe, caring environment where he gets plenty of attention and enjoys playing with her dogs and family.

Cosmo even ate some of his food there which means he felt right at home. Cosmo will be happy to come back and visit soon. Thanks afain

Kerry is brilliant with our dog, Rosie. We wouldn't leave her with anyone else. Rosie loves being there and doesn't mind us leaving when she's dropped off at Kerry's. We feel very happy to have found someone we are confident will look after Rosie and that she's comfortable with. Thanks again Kerry.

About: Hi there! I’m a dedicated animal lover with a completely open schedule, ready to give your pets the time, attention, and love they deserve. Whether your furry friend needs an energetic walk, a gentle companion, or just a quick check-in to break up the day, I am here to help. I have had cats since birth, so I know exactly how to care for them properly. I understand their unique body language, quirks, and the patience required to make them feel safe and loved. On the dog side, I regularly care for my mother-in-law's older dogs when she is away. This has given me wonderful hands-on experience being gentle, attentive, and accommodating to the specific, often slower-paced needs of senior dogs. As I am currently in between jobs, my schedule is completely flexible and my primary focus is on the animals I care for. Whether you need a midday walk, multiple drop-ins, or just some company for your pet while you are out, I have the time to dedicate to them without the distraction of a standard 9-to-5. Services I Offer: I am happy to customise my care to your pet's needs, including: Dog Walking: Tailored to your dog's age and energy levels, from brisk walks to slow, sniffy strolls. Drop-In Visits & Check-Ins: Perfect for feeding, toilet breaks, and a quick hello. Playtime & Company: Ensuring your pet gets plenty of mental stimulation and affection so they don't feel lonely. Specialised Cat Care: Litter box maintenance, feeding, and all the playtime or space your cat prefers. I treat every pet like my own and look forward to meeting your furry best friends! I’m currently in between jobs while I wait to start my graduate role in September, so have plenty of time to care for your furry friends! I live next to a large open space (The Heath Pond), perfect for walking and running around, and have a fenced, secure garden safe for your animals.

I love walking and exploring new places so there will be plenty of exercise throughout the day. Experienced with puppies and senior dogs alike. I’m DBS certified. I work from home, Monday to Thursday part time so have plenty of time for walking and caring for your dog. I have a car or can walk from my house to woods or Windmill hill for local dog walks. About: We are a husband and wife team with a shared love for dogs. As a family of four there is always someone going for a walk and on hand to play and care for your pet, as if it were our own. Living directly opposite the park makes this our “go to” regular walk, although we are always adding new venues and activities with lots to smell and places to run and exercise. At home we have a securely enclosed garden with several mature trees and lots of bushes providing a never-ending supply of squirrels to chase. There are deliberately no flower beds or no-go areas to ruin the fun. Our current pet is the fourth dog we have owned and totals just under 50 years of experience with loving and caring for them. We understand what a beloved member of the family your pet is and why it is essential to find the right care service for them. Fully licensed and insured. Licence Number 114088/25 Now retired we are keen to keep healthy and in the best company - so dog walking and care is a daily joy for my wife Emma and I. Having owned terriers (cairn and westie) and larger dogs (labs and collies) we have puppy to senior experience and understand how different each dog can be. We are set to accommodate your dog and incorporate into our family - ready to return to you with a wagging tail.

About: I have been a dog owner or had one as part of the family all my life. My children adore dogs. My son is in effect a dog whisper! My daughter will hand out the cuddles! I have a golden retriever who loves to head out so we are constantly pottering. Either in the garden, the field that backs onto the garden or further afield. We have a large fenced back garden that dogs can safely potter about in. A field backs onto the garden that is only accessible to those of us who live in the couple of cottages that back into it. It’s a very sociable dog hangout! As a retriever owner we are very hands on, he is a typical needy retriever so is very much part of the family and loves hanging with other dogs.

Gavins day care was perfect for oboe who had an absolutely lovely day. He was played with and walked and fed and watered and we had photos sent of him looking loved and happy with lexi the great dane (snuggled up on the sofa). They are clearly a dog loving family. When we were delayed, they were warm and understanding. I highly recommended them, would definitely use again! Oboe was tired and happy when we collected him. (thank you!)

When my dog Becky is staying with Aakanksha and her family I know that she is well cared for and living her best life. During the heatwave it’s especially important to be sure that the conditions are good, and at Aakanksha’s place everything is set up to keep the place cool and nice for the pets (and humans 😁). Also I am very grateful to Aakanksha for accepting my day care request on a very short notice, it mattered a lot to me to find a day care at that day and I really appreciate it.

Paddy had a wonderful first day with Anna, Izzie and the children, and wasn't bothered about coming home! I didn't worry at all about him as the photos of a happy dog kept me in touch throughout the day. I shall have to go out more often so he can have more time with his new friends. Thank you, so much. We hope to see you again soon.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in East Hampshire on Rover is £34.5 per day (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 2,227 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in East Hampshire. About 87% of East Hampshire sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your East Hampshire commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
