“Fitz had another great stay with Alysha. He’s always well looked after, and the whole family make him feel part of the family. He enjoyed some lovely walks and got plenty of attention during his stay. He came home happy and relaxed, and I’d be happy to recommend Alysha to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

“This was the second time I’ve left my two dogs with Suki, and I cannot thank her enough for the wonderful care she gave them over a week long stay. We were able to properly switch off and relax on holiday knowing Luna and Willow were in very safe hands! Suki clearly loves the animals she takes care of, and really looks after them like her own. The dogs were incredibly happy in Suki’s beautiful home with plenty of countryside and space for them to explore, and loads of love and cuddles too. I’m so happy we found her!!”

“We had to book Joanne at short notice. She was so helpful and flexible. It was our first booking with her and we soon felt totally comfortable leaving Bluebell with her. Thank you so much Joanne.”

“Both our dogs had a wonderful time with Terence. The farm is spacious, loads for them to sniff and explore, and a few other dogs to play with. A very trustworthy and reliable sitter.”

“Anna and Izzi have been absolutely wonderful with Rosie. They took such kind and attentive care of her, and it’s clear how much they genuinely enjoy having her around. I loved seeing how they took her to different places and gave her little adventures, it really means a lot. They never left her alone and kept me reassured throughout, which made a huge difference. I felt completely at ease and was able to relax while travelling, knowing Rosie was in such safe and caring hands. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone, and I’d be very happy for Rosie to stay with them again.”

“Emily looked after my dog Leo for 2 nights and was absolutely great - she has tons of experience with animals and as my dog has some health issues to take into consideration, Emily was super attentive to accommodate Leo’s medications and wellbeing which gave me total confidence he was being so well taken care of. Thanks Emily!!”

I would highly recommend Julian and Emma and will certainly be returning with Bixie when the time comes. Your pet will be well loved!”

“Aakanksha has been great looking after Hugo, she kept me updated and sent regular pictures about what he’s doing and how he is and settled in very well. It’s been great experience both for Hugo and myself. I’d definitely recommend Aakanksha and will book her to look after Hugo again!”

“Huge thanks to Laura, my boy was clearly very well looked after! Laura kept me updated throughout the whole experience, the pictures and videos showed that he had happily made himself at home, and it was also lovely for Max to spend some time with her gorgeous dogs too! Would definitely recommend Laura and use her services in the future! Thanks again!!”

“Great care of our dog from Marius & his family. Kept us up to date with photo's and videos every day & was considerate of some of her previous health needs & struggles with the heat when walking. Will definitely be looking to use Marius again when the need arises”
“My dogs stayed with Kenny for 2 nights. They settled so quickly after I had dropped them off. Jenny took time to u see stand their individual needs, including how to support my anxious dog. When I collected the dogs, they were happy and clearly well looked after. I would definitely be approaching Jenny to care for them again.”

“Cooper had a lovely time with Barbara. Walks in the woods and another spaniel to chase around the kitchen - his idea of heaven! He came home very happy and very tired, which is just perfect ☺️”

“Charlotte is an absolute star. She looked after our two lovely Irish Setters for a week whilst we were on holiday. The location of her house is a dream with walks right out of her front door - and given how tired our doggies were when they got home they definitely had plenty of exercise. Charlotte was also fab at giving us regular updates so we knew they were doing well. The set up is great - a real home from home for the dogs and so they got to keep their usual routine and had plenty of cuddles (and a few attempts at sneaking up the stairs...). We are pretty convinced they were annoyed when we picked them up as they enjoyed their holiday as much as we did. Thank you Charlotte and family for looking after our girls so well.”

“Becky took great care of our pup George and was great at communicating, sending us regular updates and pictures to keep our minds at ease. George came home happy and tired which I think is a good sign he had lots of fun! Becky was also kind enough to accept our booking late the night before we wanted to drop George off after another Dogsitter let us down, we were so grateful! I would definitely use Becky again!”

“Sharon responded very promptly and we organised a meet and great the next day. Hugo was very much at home as soon as he arrived, and during his week long stay we could see that he was very happy and was getting plenty of good walks, as per the very regular photos that Sharon sent ! When I picked him up, you could see that a lovely bond had developed with Sharon and her family, so he had clearly been loved and cared for very well. We will definitely be booking with Sharon again! Thankyou so much Sharon and family.”

“Anna was amazing, I can highly recommend her. Rosie was nervous when I dropped her off but she settled really quickly and was all smiles when I picked her up after an overnight stay and fun walks.”

“Suki was amazing with our 2.5yr old Golden Retriever. He’s going through a stage of humping out of excitement and she dealt with it (and him) really calmly and consistently and kept me up to date throughout the day with photos. He seemed super happy when I picked him up and her home is so calming and lovely - we’ll definitely use her again!”

“Leaving a young puppy with someone else is never easy, but I have complete confidence in Laura. Milou absolutely adores her and is always so excited to see her, which says everything. He comes home happy, relaxed and clearly well looked after. It's such a comfort knowing he is in a safe, caring environment where he gets plenty of attention and enjoys playing with her dogs and family.”

About: I have been a dog owner or had one as part of the family all my life. My children adore dogs. My son is in effect a dog whisper! My daughter will hand out the cuddles! I have a golden retriever who loves to head out so we are constantly pottering. Either in the garden, the field that backs onto the garden or further afield. We have a large fenced back garden that dogs can safely potter about in. A field backs onto the garden that is only accessible to those of us who live in the couple of cottages that back into it. It’s a very sociable dog hangout! As a retriever owner we are very hands on, he is a typical needy retriever so is very much part of the family and loves hanging with other dogs.

“Rebecca took amazing care of Cosmo when out for the day. He had company all day along with Rebecca’s dog. He was kept cool on a boiling hot day and he came back a happy boy. Cosmo even ate some of his food there which means he felt right at home. Cosmo will be happy to come back and visit soon. Thanks afain”

“Kerry is brilliant with our dog, Rosie. We wouldn't leave her with anyone else. Rosie loves being there and doesn't mind us leaving when she's dropped off at Kerry's. We feel very happy to have found someone we are confident will look after Rosie and that she's comfortable with. Thanks again Kerry.”

“Barbara was super quick to reply and flexible with the times we needed for two last minute requests. She looked after Rover very well and we'd very happily book her again!”

“Gavins day care was perfect for oboe who had an absolutely lovely day. He was played with and walked and fed and watered and we had photos sent of him looking loved and happy with lexi the great dane (snuggled up on the sofa). They are clearly a dog loving family. When we were delayed, they were warm and understanding. I highly recommended them, would definitely use again! Oboe was tired and happy when we collected him. (thank you!)”

I love walking and exploring new places so there will be plenty of exercise throughout the day. Experienced with puppies and senior dogs alike. I’m DBS certified. I work from home, Monday to Thursday part time so have plenty of time for walking and caring for your dog. I have a car or can walk from my house to woods or Windmill hill for local dog walks. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have always had them in my family home. Caring for them has been a big part of my life, and I’ve always loved taking them on walks, playing with them, and making sure they’re happy and well looked after. Since moving out, I’ve regularly looked after my family’s two Shih-Poos, either by house sitting or having them to stay in our home. My partner and I also frequently care for their family’s dogs, including a senior Spaniel and a Spaniel puppy, so we’re experienced with dogs of different ages, energy levels, and needs. We have our own dog, who we’ve had since she was a puppy, so we’ve spent a lot of time training and socialising her. We recently moved to a home with a larger garden and beautiful nearby walking routes, as spending time outdoors with our dog is one of our favourite things to do. Your dog will be treated like part of the family and given plenty of love, attention, and exercise while they’re with us. I work full-time, Monday to Friday, and work from home every day. My partner also works from home with me at least three days a week, so there’s always someone at home for the majority of the day. At weekends, we enjoy getting out and about, but we typically choose dog-friendly activities so our dog can come along with us. We always walk our dog at least 1-2 times per day, depending on the weather and schedules. We have a fully fenced, secure garden where they can play safely, as well as our dog to keep them company if they enjoy being around other dogs. We’re happy to accommodate your dog’s usual routine and can provide space for a crate if that’s what they’re most comfortable with. If we need to leave the house for a short period, the dogs stay in our spacious kitchen/dining area. We also have a Ring camera so we can keep an eye on them while we’re away. If your dog prefers their own space, we’re able to keep our dog in a separate area of the house.
About: We are a husband and wife team with a shared love for dogs. As a family of four there is always someone going for a walk and on hand to play and care for your pet, as if it were our own. Living directly opposite the park makes this our “go to” regular walk, although we are always adding new venues and activities with lots to smell and places to run and exercise. At home we have a securely enclosed garden with several mature trees and lots of bushes providing a never-ending supply of squirrels to chase. There are deliberately no flower beds or no-go areas to ruin the fun. Our current pet is the fourth dog we have owned and totals just under 50 years of experience with loving and caring for them. We understand what a beloved member of the family your pet is and why it is essential to find the right care service for them. Fully licensed and insured. Licence Number 114088/25 Now retired we are keen to keep healthy and in the best company - so dog walking and care is a daily joy for my wife Emma and I. Having owned terriers (cairn and westie) and larger dogs (labs and collies) we have puppy to senior experience and understand how different each dog can be. We are set to accommodate your dog and incorporate into our family - ready to return to you with a wagging tail.

About: I’ve had pets in my family since I was born - cats, birds, mice, literally everything. I’ve now got a dog, a cat and fish of my own, all rescues. My youngest dog (2yo) is a nervous dog, so I understand how to make dogs feel comfortable and am happy to put in the work and attention needed to calm them. He’s an Australian Shepherd X from Cyprus and we’ve had him since he was 6-months. My cat is typical insane black cat but is very playful and loves people. I work full time but am remote for 4 days out of the week, so I’m available to play with pups or sit with cats any time, bar Wednesdays. I’m available on weekends as well. My weekend are mainly spent hiking with my own dogs so I can easily fit this around a schedule. I have 2 6ft fenced gardens in a quiet village away from main roads with plenty of parks for running around! My home has been approved by UK and EU rescues (for our own pets adoption) so you can be comfortable knowing our house is safe.

About: Hi I'm Jenny. I have a genuine affection for all animals which is why I love being on Rover and meeting lots of dogs and cats I have been a dog walker for a while now, for friends and neighbors, and have experience with a variety of breeds. (Stubborn beagles, bouncy retrievers, crazy vizslas!) I understand it can be daunting to ask someone you don't know to look after your pet which is why it's great to speak on the phone firstly and take a walk in the park to get to know you and your dog. Feel free to message me anytime with no obligation at all, I'm always available for a chat. I mostly work from home so I am flexible for 2 daily visits or 1. Dog walks can be early morning or lunchtime or in the evening in summer. If I am sitting at your house then I am comfortable to treat your dog to home enrichment as well as walks and any other needs

About: I've had animals all my life, and worked professionally with horses for over 15 years. I adore animals and am very reliable. I have my own 2.5 year old Vizsla who loves life and is completing gun dog training. I have a few people currently who I privately care for there dogs (house sitting and walking) so lots of references available. I currently work from home so have lots of time for your 4 legged friends, they will only need to be left first and last thing why I'm at the yard (if overnight stays, or if good in the car can come with me). We tend to have little breaks then a long lunchtime walk but can easily be flexible to accommodate your routine! My dog is very friendly to all, and loves to run or go out on sniffing walks! I have a small fenced garden and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. We have a large field opposite and walks all around so lots of room for them to run and play! We normally go further afield at least once a day for a good walk - but can do as much or little as yours requires! Happy for paws to be on furniture and we have plenty of bed - also happy to accommodate your dogs normal routine. I can crate you dog if needed (you to provide crate). Also more than happy to come to yours if you prefer, can stay and walk or offer drop in play sessions, toilet breaks and evening company. Any questions or services required please don't hesitate to ask!

About: We’re a loving family with a 2 year old boy who has grown up around dogs and absolutely adores them. We sadly lost our black Labrador earlier this year, and while we miss him dearly, we now have the time, space and love to welcome other dogs into our home. We have both been brought up in dog-loving households and have always had dogs as part of our lives, from small breeds to large dogs. We understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs. Our little one is very used to being around dogs, and we’re happy to provide a calm, caring and family-friendly environment where your dog can enjoy plenty of attention, companionship and fuss. Meg & Mitch We are available all week- I work from home so will always be on hand with time to care and walk for them! Little one attends nursery during the week We have a secure fenced garden. Dogs are welcome on sofas for all the cuddles! We can care for your dogs exactly how you wish/ would in your own home!
“Julian and his family took amazing care of my dog Bixie. Asked many questions to really understand how to make him as comfortable as possible and ensure he was well loved whilst in their care. I would highly recommend Julian and Emma and will certainly be returning with Bixie when the time comes. Your pet will be well loved!”

“Rebecca was fantastic! She looked after Sandy, our little cocker spaniel, exceptionally well. Communication throughout the day was excellent - she sent plenty of photos and videos that really put our minds at ease.”

“This was our first time leaving our dog Jude with Andy and his partner Kadie and we’re so happy to have found two such lovely people to look after Jude. Andy and Kadie were happy to do a meet and greet with Jude beforehand and their love for dogs was clear to see. Jude was comfortable with them straight away and they were wonderful with him. Communication to arrange the stay was fab and they kindly sent us messages and pictures during the stay which was really reassuring. We’d 100% leave Jude with Andy and Kadie again and recommend them to anyone. Such genuine lovely people and Jude thinks they are pawsome too! 🐾 🐶 Thanks Andy and Kadie and hope to see you again soon!”

“We have asked Georgie and Noah to look after Wilbur a couple of times now and they have been fantastic! He’s an old boy with some complex needs but they do such a wonderful job of looking after him and keeping us in the loop. We would 100% recommend them.”
“Once again, Millie and her partner Lee had our pug Mable - but this time for 10 days. They looked after her so well, and kept us updated with photos and messages throughout her stay. Millie also helped administer Mables anti inflammatory medicine during this time. A PLUS service as always 👍. Mable will be back 🤣”

“Gavin and his wife have been amazing with our dog! He came back very happy. I have booked Gavin already for a long stay in the next few days and I am 100% sure my dog is in good and trusted hands.”

Holly ensured that she had all the information necessary to provide the best service. We will definitely be checking Holly's availability for future bookings. Highly recommend.”

About: Dogs have always been part of my life. I grew up on a small farm surrounded by horses, sheep, chickens, cats and dogs, and I’ve had my own dogs since I was four. I currently have a gentle 14-year-old dachshund x Jack Russell, so I’m experienced with senior dogs, puppies and administering medication. I work from home most of the week, which means I can stick closely to your dog’s usual routine and will happily follow care instructions carefully. We have a peaceful home, a very large garden and wonderful countryside walks right on the doorstep. My eight-year-old son is kind, calm and has grown up around animals, and our older dog is very good with other dogs. Up at 6ish - feed the animals and toilet breaks in the garden 11am - morning walk 1ish - lunch & telly cuddles 2ish - afternoon run/walk for more active dogs 4/5pm dinner and garden breaks 8/9pm bedtime I have one small dachshund x Jack Russell Jeffrey who is great with other dogs, and two cats who are out most of the time. I have a stair gate so dogs have free rein downstairs. My own dog and the cat who knows how to sleep beyond 6am (!) sleeps in my large bedroom on beds and blankets. Guest dogs are welcome to join us or can relax downstairs in the big kitchen by the Aga. We have lovely walks through the woods direct from the house and I run so my own dog enjoys a 30min stroll but I can take dogs out on a lead to run for up to an hour or more depending on their needs. I have a small upper garden which is fully enclosed/high fences. And an acre of lower garden which is fenced but I keep new dogs on a lead until we’ve established recall. I’ve used dog sitters for years so I know what owners look for - consistent, safe, reliable and genuine care. Ideally a home away from home so your dog can enjoy his/her weekend away as much as you do!
