I am a 70yrs young retired fit gentleman looking to fill spare time looking after pets which is something I love to do. We have had pets all our married life (44yrs) including many cats (4 together at one point), bearded dragon, guinea pig and mice, dealing with day to day cat trays and vet visits and giving medication. Over the past 3 yrs I have helped with looking after and training my son’s dog. Including house sitting while away on holidays. Additionally, their cat and 2 rabbits. I have also looked after neighbours pets including tortoises, fish and cats. I am confident that I could help train dogs in respect of walking if required.

I am happy to follow instructions for your pet and any schedule they are used to in your own home and also happy to give them attention and cuddles when needed.

Martin was prompt with arriving. He was the perfect house sitter ,watering the garden with the watering cans and feeding the fish in the pond. He made great friends with our dog Arthur. Two walks a day during the coldest part of the day. The heat has been a challenge. The house was left very clean and tidy. I would certainly recommend him to anyone wanting a house sitter.
Martin was a great ‘sitter’ with our dog Holly. He was kind and compassionate and willing to meet up a couple of times as she is very nervous. He can ‘ready’ to ask relevant questions and took the time to get to know her. He was confident in taking her out first time and also lovely person to chat with. We’re still away, but house was left in perfect condition from what I have heard. Many thanks, Martin and I wouldn’t hesitate to call again in the future.
Highly recommend Martin, he walked my naughty Beagle for over a year and put in extra attention as he is a reactive dog. Very patient and caring. Your dog will be in safe hands.

Schedule
I am retired and live with my wife (Susan Stone)and we have a flexible schedule. Finding ourselves with free time we thought it would good to care for pets which is something we like to do. Our schedule is flexible as we both drive and are available.
