I am a reliable, full-time professional working as a clinical research scientist, and I have been employed by King’s College Hospital NHS / King’s College London for over 17 years (I seem to happily alternate between the two every few years!) Due to the nature of my work, I hold an enhanced DBS check (most recently updated October 2025, happy to share on request), and I also hold a Canine Health & First Aid Certificate (awarded March 2025), so your pet will be in safe, knowledgeable hands. I absolutely adore dogs and have extensive experience caring for them, including numerous overnight stays. I understand that every dog is unique, so I take pride in providing a personalised “100% package” of care tailored to your dog’s routine, personality, and individual needs. Whether that’s cuddles on the sofa, enrichment and playtime, structured walks, or quiet company for more anxious pets, I treat your dog as if they were my own. At home, I am also the devoted human to Mr Pickle, my wonderful British Golden kitten. Before him, I had my beautiful British Blue for over 13 years from kittenhood, so I have plenty of experience caring for pets across all life stages. Because Mr Pickle is very loved (and a little spoilt!), I truly understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy, attentive, and caring looking after your pet while you’re away. Like you, I would never want my own cat/dog to stay in a cattery/kennels, which is why I’m passionate about in-home pet care. I don’t just “feed and leave” — I’m happy to spend quality time with your pet, whether that’s playing, grooming, or simply keeping them company and chatting to them. For dogs, I enjoy walking and running and can adapt walks to suit their energy levels and individual needs, from relaxed strolls to more active adventures.
