Pet care experience

Walks, Play, Cuddles & Tail Wags Guaranteed

I’m comfortable and confident caring for both dogs and cats. I lived with my own cat for several years before moving abroad, so I’m very familiar with daily routines like feeding, litter maintenance, grooming, playtime, and recognising subtle changes in behaviour or mood. Living with a cat taught me patience, attentiveness, and how important consistency is for helping pets feel safe and secure. After moving, I really missed having furry companions around, so I began regularly helping friends with their dogs. I’ve supported with dog walking, feeding, playtime, and dog sitting both during the day and overnight. I’m comfortable handling different energy levels, from active dogs who love long walks and games, to more relaxed pets who just want calm companionship. I understand that every pet has their own personality, boundaries, and routine. I always prioritise safety, clear communication with owners, and keeping pets happy, stimulated, and comfortable while you’re away. You can feel confident that your pet will be treated with genuine care, patience, and affection.

I feel happy for having Lantung visit our dog Coco. Coco loves seeing her and she has always gone above and beyond when taking care of our pets and home while we've been away. Dog walking, short stays and overnights have all gone well. Holly deserves serious consideration as a reliable and responsible source to site, walk, visit your pet(s) and we we recommend her hightly.

A typical day

I tailor activities to each pet’s personality, energy level, and routine. For active dogs, I love long walks exploring parks, playing fetch, gentle jogs, and engaging games that stimulate both body and mind. For more relaxed pets, I focus on calm companionship such as slow strolls, cuddle time, enrichment toys, and positive reinforcement training to keep them mentally engaged.

Before caring for a pet, I like to understand their routine, personality, and any specific needs. It’s important for me to know about dietary requirements, allergies, medications, medical history, and any behavioural quirks (e.g., separation anxiety, reactivity to other dogs, fear of loud noises). I also ask about their daily schedule, exercise preferences, house rules (furniture access, crate use), training cues they respond to, and emergency contact details including their vet. The more I understand about their normal routine, the better I can help them feel safe, relaxed, and at home while you’re away.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
